Usyk has the heart of a warrior. The round before he dropped fury he was getting dominated and Tyson barely had a sweat. After he hurt him in the 8th the look on Tyson’s face changed and then was lucky to survive the 9th
The bop on the nose changed things. I don't know why Tyson didn't just take a knee and take a count instead of doing that jelly wobble around the ring but guess when you are disorientated you cant make logical decisions.

Motivated Fury is a great fighter. Ngannou fight made him humble, his first official loss will make him a beast. Dude's a great boxer and when he's mentally solid, it feels like the sky is the limit.
With that being said, I'm glad Usyk won.
He done okay..... but I expected more..... Fury could have won that fight if he'd have kept popping the jab constantly and then used the right uppercut if Usyk slipped the jab to catch him on the way in....
He done those things in short spells but not enough and it cost him....

Fury must regret not going for the kill when he had Usyk wobbling in early rounds. He took the foot out the gas and let him recover. When usyk had the same opportunity we saw how he went full shark attack mode. For me that was the biggest difference in this fight

@brum4692 The UFC isn't actually on top, though. There are FAR more active boxers than MMA fighters in the world. It's something like 5-1. Far more boxing shows put on. And the UFC only dominates the US market, where boxing is global. Overall, boxing is still the much bigger sport.

The thing is Fury’s dad was telling him from round 10 he’d won the fight, he’s gunna rely on his corner in a fight like that. I’m not saying he would of come out and finished Usyk in the later rounds if he had been told he was down but when he’s tired and told he’s winning he probably didn’t feel the need to apply any extra pressure later on.

@@beachlife2968I think Fury could have done better tbh, still an absolute warrior but he had a 40lb weight advantage and was getting bullied about, far too willing to be on the back foot when it clearly wasn’t working after round 5, maybe it was strategy, maybe it was his corner or maybe it just wasn’t his night but I think with a different strategy he can win.

@@beachlife2968 He didn’t use his weight at all, letting a man 3 stone lighter push him into the ropes, if he had used his weight it would have definitely drained Usyk, it’s his mentality that was the difference last night, when Fury was hurting Usyk in the early rounds he let him off and didn’t capitalise, when it was the other way around Usyk went for the kill and showed he wanted it more.
He was doing well with the body shots but he just stopped throwing them once his nose got busted 🤷🏽

Aside from round 9 I thought Fury really put it on Usyk, you could see that he was struggling, not to take it away from him, What a great fight.

The Ref stopped Usky from getting the KO, Tyson was still standing. Usky could've got that last uppercut in the corner, but no, he decided to give him a 20 count before starting the fight again. Bad reffing, tyson also kept jabbing at his thighs and threw like 2 or 3 low blows. It was a good fight. Tyson had a killer shovel hook to the body, and the jab disrupted Uskys' distance and rhythm, but Usky checked all the boxes for a win. He should've won unanimously by 3 points.
