Writing off the PSP as an JRPG machine is absolute insanity when franchises like Burnout, Ace Combat, MGS, and God of War all got really solid releases on the platform smh
Exactly the psp was a hell of a handheld it was way ahead of its time imo I mean I used to play socom us navy seals online with a mic completely on battery and when I was done I could literally listen to thousands of songs I’d burned to it or watch a literal movie on it and Sony just does entertainment so good with how many controls you have in the UI they obviously didn’t own one and that’s why they don’t care total shame
Having won an Xbox Series S, after not gaming since the 360 days, I must say I'm thoroughly impressed personally speaking. I don't have a 4K TV either, so the drop in power compared to the Series X doesn't really bother me. Only downside, as you guys stated, is the small SSD from factory 🤘🏻

This is a strange tier list, I'm a Sony Pony all day. I don't care for Xbox at all, but I agree with Austin's personal opinion of the 360. S tier for sure, possible stretch to A. But the 360 surpassed the PS3 in experience for that era of gaming, hands down.
Exactly the 360 was the peak of gaming, some of the most memorable games came out on it and the console was just a good console in general. Even with the red ring it was still wanted by many. Sadly after that Microsoft couldn’t keep that same energy and now we have the Xbox one and series generations. Which are L’s

I absolutely loved the Duke ironically I preferred it for fighting games which makes no sense I admit FPS I could have gone Duke or S controller
I bought a 360 Elite because it matched my black PS3 and black Wii and was on sale for the same price as the non-Elite.
Eventually, I bought the Halo 4 Limited Edition 360 Slim. It's still on a shelf connected to my TV and to this day my buddies and I will play it.
The Duke is my favorite controller. It fits my arthritic hands so perfectly that I've bought two more from Hyperkin. The DualSense fits 2nd best and the XB1 controller takes the bronze.
I actually prefer controllers that take AA batteries. Eneloop batteries are $20 for a 4 pack and will last for more than 10 years. I've yet to have a controller with a built-in battery that will last for more than 4 years of use since they don't have smart charging functionality. Batteries sold directly to consumers have to meet higher standards than batteries packaged as part of a product.
If your on PC the best controllers are the 8bitduo or gamesir with full hall effect triggers and sticks and also u can get them for under 75 bucks regularly
I am disappointed they didn't include the Atari 2600 at all. Especially the controller.

Lol Matt, my husband and I were also managers at Radio Shack. We worked there when they had the invincible bundle for the PS3. We sold absolutely none of them on Black Friday, back when their stock was a whole $1.90 a share😃👍 🤦♀️

I will say, you missed that the DualShock 3 had capacitive face buttons, which was great on mgs4
FYI, if you have PS1/PS2 to GameCube adapter cables, you can use PS1/PS2 controllers like my duel arcade stick controller for.the PS1/PS2 on my Switch with the Switch Gamecube adapter.
The 360 was the best console in my opinion, that thing had the best games come out on it and even with the red ring of death people still wanted it. Imagine that people taking the risk of getting a deffective consoles still taking that chance just because how loved the 360 was.
The 360 Elite which I had was the only 360 that came with a Hard drive bigger lol think it had 120GB vs the normal 360 only had like 20GB or 50Gb

I love Austin and Matt, I love these channels, I am more team Xbox than anything else but can we stop pretending like every single Xbox elite (regardless of which version) isn’t so inherently flawed that most of them become unusable after minimal play compared to most other controllers. I had the elite 1 and 2 and both had stick drift that made them paperweights way faster than any other controller I have ever used.

This is good but it's not the experience most will have. The spatial video is awesome but not mind blowing and most people's brain won't make it feel the butterfly I'm sure some will share this but not most. For $3500 for the average middle class just isn't worth it even you can get something almost just as good for $500 to $650. 3d movies on the quest 3 are crystal clear. Far as sitting court side, you can already do that on the quest 2 and 3 and it's amazing. For example, you can watch a basketball game and sit right under the basket and move to center court in real time. To say you can't get the same experience in any other product is a gross exaggeration. I've used all 3. If you want to drop $1000 you can get everything the vision pro has and more with the quest pro. Using your PC with virtual desktop allows you to do things the vision pro can't as well like using your desktop like a touch screen without a physical keyboard or mouse but instead a virtual keyboard and your hand unless you prefer the physical stuff, then you can do that as well.
I fixed the red ring on my Xbox. I used a penny and worked right away😎🤙🏾.

I don’t even blame young Austin for trading in all his ps games Xbox 369 even with the problem of the red ring was still better then the ps3 in my opinion. Only reason the ps5 sold was because it was a cheap blue ray player back when disk movies were still a big thing.

It’s not just that bud but also thw shit games that they are coming out with. And goypass is kinda hurting them if you think about it since most people on Xbox don’t buy games anymore unless they are on gamepass they won’t play them with is causing 3rd party developers to not want to port over games or if they do it’s a lesser version of the ps5 version. Xbox has bigger problems than the Xbox series s.

Game pass is a pretty cool thing but will only hurt exclusives. Microsoft has thought of this and just buys the developer and at some point will control their ecosystem.
@@schweitzer2004 did you see the sales of the series x compared to the series s, their are way more people that bought the series s. Think about how worst the Xbox would have sold if they only sold the series x. They would have been worst off then they are at the moment. The Xbox fan base are now the cheap people

360 elite was X tier i don't care what anyone says that was Microsoft's best gen.
The 7th generation of consoles is NOT S tier for various reasons. Major ones, Red Ring of Death and the Yellow Light of Death. The PS3 came out at $600 and the launch games looked horrible because the Cell chip was too hard to process for. The Wii was a console for people who don't like video games, and could be debated if it was a game console at all or if it was a toy.
PlayStation's controller is even on both sides and ergonomically.. my left eye is not higher than my right eye.. LOL Xbox controller makes me sick to look at.. it is thumb STICKS LOL not a DPAD like a button pad.. HOW stupid LOL

Your comment about the Wii U was stupid. Look at how many of the Wii U games have ports to the Switch. Plus rumors of more to come this year. Wii U was amazing. It is the only Nintendo console that had access via eshop to every single previous Nintendo generation. NES, SNES, Gamecube, Wii, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, GBA, and even DS. Only thing missing was 3DS which was out at the time. Plus you had Turbo Grfx I believe and Genesis among some other third party games.
Also the Wii U generation you bashed should of included the 3DS and the Vita in it. Which was a major oversight. 3DS was amazing and Vita was amazing. What you can do with A Vita, 3DS, and Wii U now after these years is even more amazing.
