We Probably Should Have Worn Safety Gear

- It's time for another exciting adventure at Everstoke! Aaron and I are crossing a lot of firsts off our list today. First time using an Alaskan Mill. First time felling a tree. First time riding a Trail Breaker. It really was a day of higher education. MOST importantly I learned we should DEFINITELY be wearing the proper gear when doing stuff like this. The day after we filmed this I ordered chaps and a helmet. So rest assured as we ramp up production of features out at the property we'll be doing it a LITTLE less haphazardly next time!

MY ROKON HAS BEEN DEFILED!!
…at least I filled it up with gas once I used it and abused it! 😂
Easily one of my favourite channels. How you’re not at 200,000 subs yet I don’t know. It’ll happen though. Great work Joe 👊
Hey Steve, Joe and I converse a fair bit which steamed from early in our YT career we were at a similar sub level, both had beards and now he’s sky rocketing with his mediocre riding skills 😂🤣 ….. brilliant videos!
Thanks brother! I'm having fun with it for sure. I'm really just stoked that people enjoy the random hijinks we get in to. I never thought I'd be putting together stuff like this when I started the channel.
Mediocre riding skills with an INCREDIBLE mustache. That's the key. 😂
@@CaliradoKid movember is approaching so I may try it 😊
@@DMMTB Stay tuned for my next live stream. You may have a reason to rock a Stache. 😎
this channel deserves a million subscriber. You inspire me a lot Joe. From 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Thanks man! I'm not sure why this comment got filtered but just found it. Appreciate the support!
Love what you guys are doing up there but am more than a little concerned for your safety tackling tree felling with little to no experience or training. There’s a reason lumberjacking is one of the most dangerous professions. Even a slight misapplication of technique or misunderstanding of the dynamic principles of tree felling can result in disastrous consequences. I’m an arborist who has been doing tree work for over 25 years and have seen far too many accidents to look the other way when I see someone operating a chainsaw without adequate training. I’m in the NorCal area and we have some mutual friends if interested in some help or guidance.
Dan! Thanks for the response. I really do appreciate that. We ordered chaps and a helmet the next day after this vid was shot. But would definitely love some pointers from you. If you want hit me up on Instagram or Facebook and just message me there. Or you can email at thecaliradokid@gmail.com
Great work! Glad I found this channel!! Easily one of the most entertaining MTBers on the CZcams’s!
Thanks man! Glad you're diggin' it. Get ready for some good ol' fashioned MTB Hijinks around here!
That Alaskan Mill is one of the coolest machines ever developed. Guys, watch the top of the tree, a lot of guys have been killed by the top of a rotted tree folding & falling the reverse direction right on top of the feller running back. Keep your eyes on the tree top!
Yea for such a simple tool the Alaskan Mill is so powerful! So cool to get some time with one. We'll be putting it to good use in the future. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on the top of the tree from now on. Great tip. Always willing to learn something new. Especially when it comes to doing something the RIGHT way.
That Alaskan mill though. Always envied them!
It's such a simple yet AWESOME tool. Can't wait to start building features with the planks.
5:58 😂 love it!
It's the little things in life! 😂
Absolute banger of a video! Very well done, man. You'll receive that approval you seek so desperately in no time!
I need a LOT of approval. So it may take a while yet. 😂
I had no idea how much I enjoy watching the building the process of a trail system. Congrats on felling that tree! ✌🏼🤟🏼
There's a lot that goes in to it! I really do like learning all these things. Can't wait to start building wooden features.
I dug it!
Awesome! ⚡️⚡️⚡️
So much good times!
That drone tree felling footy was sweet!
I absolutely LOVE that shot!
So cool joe!! Rad vid and totally awesome riding with riding with you up in downieville the other day, cheers!!
What a day that was! Glad we had time to give you a short tour of Everstoke.
@@CaliradoKid yea me too and thanks for taking me out there it’s coming to get her nicely
Wowwwww that BURGER 🍔 😍
Right! Wowee wow wow. So good.
Now I'm hungry... not even lunch time yet
I know right! That burger absolutely hit the spot.
When the pinky goes up I'm in finesse mode. 😂 Can't wait to do some more tree cutting. Think what we can accomplish now that we have safety gear.
Pinkies up means it's GAME TIME! 😂
Great content as always… Did you fell in love felling 🌲🌲?
Haha! I see what you did there.
Those fries look amazing
Everything was SO good!
@@CaliradoKid 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Look so natural with that saw 👀
It's the mustache. DEFINITELY the mustache. 😎
Safety Third! 😂
Maybe even 10th! 😂
Do you have merch
Not yet. No. One day though.
Well when that day comes I’ll buy it
No chaps and my mans in shorts 😬👎
100% ridiculous for sure. We made sure to order chaps and helmet the next day. Definitely not taking it lightly next time.
