The master plan is coming together to connect all the mountain bike trails. By adding a few easy climb trails a massive circuit has been formed. I can't wait to take you on some tours of this place. Hit me up and let's arrange your visit. - Sport
Semper Fi...you are a Hell of a one man operation, Brian is lucky to have you for a partner in all of this (EVERSTOKE) thing...KUDOS.
Semper Fi, thanks for the really cool comments and always watching my channel. It's great motivation to keep me building.
I was about to sleep but eh, 20 minutes more spent awake is well worth it. XD
That's funny. I do the same thing watching other CZcams videos. Glad to hear it was worth it. Thank you
Dude, great job cutting that trail in so quickly!! The dirt is looking primo also!!
Thanks man, I think I finally have my technique down to just a few simple tools and getting down to business. Can't wait for you to come check it out.
That bar top is so cool, I love it! Don't forget to provide room in the round cuts for the trees to grow, otherwise it will become a permanent fixture (unless that's your intention).
I think we'll cut out a little space every couple of years. Not sure what we're going to do at this point. It will be interesting to see what happens as time goes.
Love the speed bench cutting. That's a ton of work for two days.
Something about the time lapse that is really satisfying to watch. Now, if I can just really move at that speed, then I really could get some serious work done.
Your trails are looking better and better straight off the pick and rake. Bloody well done mate!
Thank you, I was just replying to another comment on how I think I got it down to just a few simple tools and just being super efficient with those. I pretty much removed the McLeod from my list. It doesn't penetrate the dirt as good as the Pulaski. I might put my method in a future video.
Well done! Great idea to keep adding variety. You’re a trail building MACHINE!
Thank you sir, I've already started another climb trail between the next set of downhill trails. It will be a fun trail for both directions.
Strong start to the season. Can't wait until you start adding features and planning new trails for the rest of your acreage. Fun stuff, thanks Aaron.
The stuff on the other side of the Gulch is going to be crazy. I really wish I could start the build back there as well. Maybe this summer or fall. I definitely feel like everything on this side of the Gulch is coming together.
Very nice segments, Aaron! Well done!
Thank you very much. Glad you're still digging on the videos
Damn Aaron, awesome job on the Trail system! Wow! Oh and Happy Birthday! Take care!
Thank you very much.
@@mtbingadventures1551 you’re very welcome Aaron! Great job out there!
First off, love watching your trail build videos, it is badass how much work you knock out and how efficient you've become at building trails! It's gotta be so much fun to just look at raw land and go "yup, I'm going to put a trail right here" and then ride it a few weeks (or hours, in some cases) later.
Second off, have you guys ever thought about throwing in some disc golf baskets at Everstoke? I ask partially because I'm obsessed with frisbee golf in addition to mountain biking but just looking at your land, I see a ton of potential for a really cool 9 hole course (at least) and it would give visitors another really cool option for a way to spend their time on the property. Def aware that you may not want pieces of plastic flying around while people are biking, but I think it could be a really cool idea.
Thank you so much for the great comment and watching. It is super satisfying to walk the property looking for great places to build and converting into an actual trail is just awesome.
You are in luck on the disc golf. We are not planning on putting in a course. BUT!, Our neighbor is a brewery with all outdoor seating and entertainment. They have corn hole, ping pong, live music, AND!, a disc golf course already installed and ready to play. After some good riding you can cruise your bike on over there (it's that close), grab a beer, and throw some discs. It looks like a really cool course as well. I need to give it a go. Maybe if you come out we can play a game together after a bit of riding.
@@mtbingadventures1551 I live in Colorado, so I don't think I'll be able to make it out there too quickly, but if I ever find myself in California with my bike I'd love to come help out! My girlfriend is going back to school soon so perhaps she'll end up in a program in Cali! I wouldn't be too mad about that, that's for sure.
Yes 👍 awesome!
Thanks, you coming down soon?
The bar is a perfecting talking location for the camera
I think so, too. I might do most of my intros and outros there now.
@@mtbingadventures1551 perfect oh and have a couple fav brews staged 👍😂
@@k9kayaks I was thinking of something like that.
Great job on the trail building! Glad to see you're etching out more climbs. How about utilizing the name, "Yeti's Revenge" for the newest trail? Can't wait to get up there and check out everything you've done.
Thanks, I'm looking forward to you coming out. Hopefully, you'll be able to make it out this year. I definitely like the idea of having Yeti in the name.
Damn that lightning strike thing is crazy, glad you are ok and we aren't getting a hospital update instead. About that bar, aren't you worried the trees growth is going to simply split that bar top? Or are you figuring it will be a long process and just cut it out and replace it in a few years?
I'm a bit worried. It will be curious to see how it ends up going. We can get plenty more redwood from Dan. We can end up using the split pieces for ride planks. I'm hoping the trees will do something cool and bond to it over time. It will be a good experiment
That's funny you cut _a_ bench then you _cut bench_ are we naming trails now? 3Up, Bitter Bug, Duff n fluff... And any other Simpsons reference [No Homers] 🤔
We're kinda going more in the direction of silly Game of Thrones names. Like the Sir Squatch-a-lot, Dragon Spine, Face Planter trails and so on.
@@mtbingadventures1551 it's a show I've never watched. I thought that Sir squats a lot was a Grumper reference but I see the spelling now ha ha 😳
@Todd Newmarket MTB 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂 that's great! I love having a good laugh. Sir squat-a-lot is definitely going to be used around campfire conversations from this day forth
Heck yes 💩
You couldn’t need an e-bike more.
I take donations 😆 🤣
Is everstoke open to the public?
Yes. Just set up a campsite with me or let me know if you want to come out for the day. You just have to be sure to sign a waiver.
You need to get Brian to work.
Him and his dad just spent a ton of time moving the Grumper and plumbing it in. He does a lot of behind the scenes stuff. I have a ton of trail building videos because I'm addicted to it, and it seems like my channel gets more views than my ride videos.
