- Today I give you an updated tour of my house, which has changed a lot since the last video.
Floor Plans available here: www.kordare.com/product-page/... - Auta a dopravní prostředky
This is how a man builds a house. Clean, simple yet tasteful aesthetic, highly functional, and efficient. Well done.
Appreciate it!
Dude has built the ultimate pad. Loved seeing the progression over the years.
Appreciate you following along 🤘
We all appriciate the time and effort you put into this, thank you Kordare, you are living every mans dream. Choose wisley which woman you wife up or all your hard work and energy you've put forward will disappear lol!
It's been a challenging but rewarding journey so far. And will do 😅
@@Kordare Trust me brother, people would do anything to be in your position, thank you once again for the great content, been following a long time. I love the way you work its very similar to the way I do things also, and everything makes sense.
Pre-nup agreement would be very wise.
It's good advice! I tell my son the same thing.
Appreciate the update. Really neat and effective use of the space throughout the entire building, nice work.
Thanks for checking it out!
Amazing all around. Conceive it, believe it, achieve it. You're doing exactly this!
Thanks a lot!
I remember tripping on mushrooms watching you build the staircase when the ramp was there. You filmed so many nails as you were hammering it, I cracked up so much and it settled me down.
😂😂
Hello. It was awesome to see the update video. Ive not seen your videos in a few years. Your place is awesome. I like the shop and living area combination. The outside shower is probably my favorite addition. The way you have the house back from the road and seems private is makes it a great place to live.
man that all looks great, also really fun seeing all this come to life from the beginning, major plus that i know you did it all yourself and thats a huge props
Thanks a lot!
Hey Sir, what type of heat do you use in garage? I see you are in PA, I am also. So I could not run water in my shop since I do not have a constant heat source. I burn wood, and do not have insulation. So it gets cold when the fire goes out. Thanks. Nice complex!
Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Its been fun watching everything come together. A job well done!
I appreciate your support!
Great update! Been watching your channel for a while now, you always have inspiring projects.
I appreciate the support🤘
Hello from Cumberland MD. Love seeing how much you have progressed man!
I appreciate you watching 🤘
Great job young man. You should be proud of the results. I have pondered the Barndominium concept. I love how you have paced your progress. My first viewing. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for checking it out!
awesome work brother!!!! biggest inspiration for my life goals of being self sufficient and independent!!! love the progress throughout years, you're awesome!!!
I really appreciate the support!
Definitely a dream build for me. So cool and congrats! Look forward to to more videos
Thanks a lot 🤘
You got me into the concept of barndominiums with the first video you posted of your house. Glad to see how it's coming along! I somehow knew you'd eventually get rid of the ramp. It's cool but I can see it losing its luster as opposed to having more space for toys.
Thanks for the update!
🤘🤘
Wow, you did a fantastic job on everything and thank you for breaking down the costs. This is my dream type of place, in the woods but not so isolated that you need to make it a special event. I really like the outdoor shower and it is perfect to just rinse off after working outside. Thank you for sharing and that is worth a like and a subscribe.
Thanks for checking it out!
A job well done. The place has come a long way since you started this adventure.
Appreciate it!
Well done, dude!
Thank you!
This is a man. Bravo!
I'm excited to see the back patio area. A big slab with a few new accessories would be cool! Keep it up dude its looking sick!
Thanks a lot, always a work in progress 🤘
Hello Kordare. We met at HV cars and coffee and spoke about your mustang about a year or 2 ago. This is the dream right here. My ultimate single, self sufficient dream lol just add some farm land. Great job on your progress.
Hey man, thanks a lot! I need to get back down to HVH again soon.
Perfect build
crazy i remember wathcing this 4 yrs ago
awesome video definitely subbed
Thanks for checking it out 🤘
Nice work and you definitely have discipline.
Looks really good.
Thank you!
Living the dream!
That’s really cool.
thank you for the video
🤘🤘
I've always loved your Build man and Dream one day I can make mine happen
Excellent! We’ll done!
Thank you!
Looks Great!!..
Thanks!
Impressive know-how dude. I wish I learned how to do things like this at a younger age. Now I'm on the wrong side of my 30's trying to figure things out lol. (Take notes kiddos!)
It's never too late to learn 🤘🤘
Fantastic job and way to keep plugging away at building your house that meets your needs! A double 4 post lift in that back right corner would clean up a lot of space, mustang and Jeep up top with Land rover and Z4 on the ground then can still park your daily next to it or up front like you have it.
Thanks a lot! My only issue is I feel like I'd never drive whatever's on top of the lift 😅
Well done! I want to do something like this! I also would ad heated flooring and a basement under the living space!
Thanks! I priced doing heated floors but couldn't afford it at the time.
so frickin cool
This is definitely the right way to live
It makes me sad that I remember when you posted the vid 3 years ago an I’ve still yet to start on a similar Brando 😢
Stay patient, you'll get there🤘
This is so awesome, dream crib! Question, how do you do the insurances on the various cars? Cheers!
Sick
🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love this build, but your shed door for your shower room is upside down. Was there a specific reason for this?
Hey man been following you for awhile, its amazing to see how your channel has progressed. What do you do for work? Love your car builds as well.
I appreciate the support! I've been a mechanical engineer for 10 years now 🤘
@@Kordare Awesome! The engineering skills are apparent.
Appreciate your video. This is just what we want to do. I may have missed it in past videos, but did you have to do a special wall between the living quarters and the garage? So, whats next?
That wall has to have a fire rating, which involved doing drywall the whole way up to the roof line. Next is finish the upstairs and add a porch 🤘
Do you have any plans for Landscaping? Grasses / Shrubs / Landscape lighting. If you choose to go with a deck - would you go with a wood product or a plastic decking? Thanks for sharing!
As of now I enjoy the simplicity and low upkeep of my landscaping 😂. If I do a deck, I'll do it myself so I'd probably just go traditional treated lumber.
@@Kordare Yes low up keep = more time doing other things - I hear you. Very cool - thanks for sharing.
What is that fence looking thing that tips down to the ground. I especially enjoy watching the building, it would be cool to watch you start building a formal master bedroom/Bathroom.
I just created a small flower bed in that area to hide my septic tank caps. Thanks for checking it out 🤘
If you do the second floor put in Rockwell insulation if it's over the other bedrooms.
At 16:50 that empty space is where the piano goes.
nice,i like it.i would live there.enjoy your beauticul place and toys.blessing cowboy. get yourself a cowgirl.let she know you run things.
I see a wood stove in the living room but what are you heating and cooling the house/shop with?
No heat/AC in the shop. I use a large window unit in the living space which works well for now. I plan to do a full system before I finish the second floor.
Love the builds and such. Very curious how you support the day to day cost, in my region the cost would be huge to do. Much respect 🫡
Thanks! In addition to everything I do on my channel, I also work as a mechanical engineer.
Ahhh did a good job as long as your happy then it’s a done deal
dont remember from the first video. but you dont have heated floors? how is the bare concrete in the winter and summer?
I don't have heated floors and I love the concrete floors. They seem to regulate the temperature nicely. Maybe a little cool in winter but I have more than enough heat from my wood stove. They seem to help keep the place cool in the summer.
Now all you need is a good wife to keep you warm and share on your happiness. ❤
What is the two post fence between the house and shed?
Just made a simple flower bed to hide my septic tank caps
This place is beautiful. I think once my daughter graduates high school I may seriously consider talking my wife into selling our current house to do something like this. We're in the DFW area in Texas so thankfully our property should only appreciate the next few years. Also, what state are you in?
Sounds like a plan! I'm in Pennsylvania.
Absolute banger of a place my man! Were you able to secure a home loan for the initial cost? Not sure how that all works, I’m assuming you pay out of pocket for upgrades or HEL’s
Thank you! I used a traditional loan but I saved up a lot to keep the loan amount about half of the total project cost (including land). A construction loan would be a way to do it. I made sure I paid off the land before applying for the loan to build which will help your overall balance sheet.
I apologize for commenting this here lol but on that 600hp Mustang you turbocharged a few years back what did you do to the transmission? Did you swap it or build it? If you bought it what transmission is it and if you built it how much did it cost? Thanks! If you by chance have a parts list I would love to see it if possible. I want to turbo my 3v with the onn3 kit so I’m curious what you have to mod!
Oh yea and how much did the whole thing cost?
Stock transmission and still the stock clutch. If you watch the build series you can see exactly what I did🤘
All in I prob have around 15k and about 1200hrs in the car, bought it wrecked and did everything myself
@@Kordare wow I’m really surprised the stock transmission is holding up, from what I have heard they don’t really like to handle much. If I were to upgrade the transmission do you have any recommendations that could hold 600-650 hp? Right now I’m fbo cammed and I’m having a hard time finding what a good trans would be.
@@Kordare appreciate the response!
Man I wanna build something like this so bad.
Make it happen 🤘
Are you on the western side of PA?
South Central
Anything that you would change or do differently.
Honestly I've not had any major regrets. I'm glad I didn't overspend and stayed patient to get it to where it is today.
Eastwood Co. is located not too far from you…have you tried reaching out to them for sponsorship?
I have not
Where can I get the plans?
www.kordare.com/product-page/50-x-70-garage-house-full-plans
Wondering which builder you used. $120k for the main structure is a good deal for the size!
I used Quarry View Building Group
How much land does $60k get you these days? This lot looks to be at least 10 acres if not more. Where I live it's about $10k per acre.
Awesome home! Is it expensive for insurance? I understand if you're not willing to share that info! Thanks.
Thanks! It wasn't bad but has doubled since moving in. I think rates everywhere have increased a lot over the past few years.
Now that you have shown everyone what you have built and what you own , you need to think about security to keep all that . German shepards are preferd . along with Malinois , or maybe a pair of Dobermans . Fences and gates are a must have .Cameras and electronics are only afffective after the fact . Locks can all be defeated . Dogs keep out even the most serious trespassers with good intensions or bad ones .
I'm surprised you went with inswing doors on your shed instead of outswing
Normally a shed would be out swinging but the type of door I used are meant to be inswing. Luckily I have plenty of room to open them in front of the mower.
If your wanting something fairly reliable and 4x4 I’d get you a little Toyota pickup or older Tacoma or maybe the first gen tundra with the v8 if you ever think about selling the jeep
I have been looking at some pickups lately 🤔
You seem like a decent guy and you should be proud of what you've made there; its fantastic. Just wish you weren't one of those guys who thinks everyone wants to hear a modified exhaust system in their neighborhood, town, state, region....
Build a man cave addition.
Should have went granite countertops. Some things you don’t cheap out on man
I love my wood counters. Works great for me.
i wanna see my supersnake
Buy a viper please
Not a bad idea 🤔🤔
No Jeep XJ or YJ... ngmi.
I used to have an XJ back in the day 😂
What do you do for a living? Are they hiring? 😂
I'm a mechanical engineer in addition to everything I do for this channel.
omfg- talk like a person. Why are you "singing" every sentence? I now understand why Van Gogh cut his ear off.
Question, what is your floor? Polished concrete? How does it hold up to oil, do you like it?
Garage is called polyaspartic roll on coating. It's held up okay, could use a couple more coats. The living space is stained then clear coated and has held up great.
Thanks for the update!
