Another great reaction and interpretation, especially on Domodachi. And yes, Nuts - a grown man with a poetic heart artistically speaking on his past experiences. It’s madness when some try to ignore the fact these “idols” have lives we don’t (and don’t need to) see or know about. Also, I think your previous interpretation of the monk lyric was spot on, it seems like both - a nod to the monk situation and also him saying I’m not a diplomat, a monk or anything perfect. Namjoon always talked about these things in his lyrics, but it seems like he wanted to make it crystal clear in this album that he’s a man with a range of emotions, not just his idol persona.

Domodachi is one of the best things I've heard in a long while! Like.... RZA kind of creative! This EP made me an RM fan.

Great reaction. Thank you. Welcome to the RM experience. Its addictive, that anticipating the track never being able to predict the emotion or sound. He makes you think. He catches you and his creativity and experimentation are not something we find in such an established artist with so much to lose. My take RM and his friend were underground. They are not really part of the chaos above. I think the chaos is his life in BTS. RM has had multiple personal death threats. BTS have been subjected to so much all his friends are crying in a row. His life in BTS is dangerous for him. In the last couple of years he was pressured by the government to be a political puppet, mouthpiece of the establishment, the books he read used as an excuse to pillory RM for his non existent hate of muslims. Then there is the fake hate campaign against BTS and Hybe stirred up by ambitious Min Hee Jin to broker more power. Its endless. Its the exact sort of shit he hates. He wants not to be leader so he can not be gagged by his sense of responsibility towards his BTS members that he left for a while. BUT because he feels he owes them he has to go back for his loyal friend(s).

I think it was, in part, a Young Boy battered by Adult Stresses too early, (while his Friend's Father stopped the boy from entering). The Companion helped him avoid the worst by Navigating away from the most dangerous (Police Barricades), but they both were trapped by the Train. They were small enough to thread through the crush and escape the Monster (Godzilla???) at the Track's End.
He escaped, but decided he wanted the Excitement of Adulthood versus the Idyllic Simplicity of Childhood.
The fact the Song, itself, is in Korean, English, and Japanese, makes me wonder if the Kaiju Eye is indicative of Godzilla - WWII and the Tortured, Entangled, Histories of the three countries?

About Nuts: from the beginning, my theory has been that he's talking to the music industry or, more specifically, to Hybe (In Spanish and Portuguese, "industry" or even "company" are feminine words). To me, "I could make this a right place..." are the promises made by Hybe and not always accomplished.
Or, he's talking about his relationship with himself. I feel that the whole album is an internal conversation.

Agreed but gonna take it one step forward, the she is BTS and the he is HYBE (BPD). He is expressing his love hate relationship with his Monster persona grown with these two loves, which has become a type of chain and stigma for him as time has passed which started to disregard (gaslight) his internal feelings/desires as an artist, promise of the right chord, promises to take him to the highest heights of superstardom, telling him to just close his eyes and just enjoy it even if he's afraid of heights. In a lot of these songs, he is releasing his pent up frustration to be himself. That is why in Groin, I actually think he is literally saying, not a monk...not a diplomat (don't make me a saint, crucify my actions, words or non-action or silence and judge my character, rep who, I only rep myself. We all love BTS and we know he loves BTS but he has definitely been on struggle street to continue in the monster persona. He needed this album to get back to himself and as the last song on the album said, he realised that Spring has always been there, I feel you come back to me. Like in the book, Midnight Library which RM has read and recommended, among all the infinite outcomes of a multiverse which we might have thought would make a better life, we realise we are actually living in the best one, the one that we are living, because it is ours.
