'Groin' MV was filmed in NW London, and 'Nuts' live video was shot at Fish Factory Studio in London, which is renowned for its vintage acoustic equipment. Namjoon visited the UK about 10 days last October, and that's when these videos were made. It seems he also met Little Simz that time, too.
The buzzcut is just because he likes it that way, not because it was just before the military. He's talked about it before when he had really short hair before that he just likes it really short, that it gets so hot with longer hair etc.
If you look at his hair through the years from debut until now you'll see that he's had similar cuts before and many just shorter cuts.
Also guys he hangs out with also have buzzcuts so in his friend group it probably feels normal but not among idols.
He was trying to ease people like you into it. Why make such a big deal about him NOT doing it for the military? Why does it matter?

RM ever mentioned during one of his livestreams that he preferred to produce songs/music that grew on his listeners after they had listened to them a few times.
rm really popped off with this album, pretty creative and interesting with the instrumentals
'Groin' and 'Nuts' were both filmed in the UK. And yes, he said doom sht in Sexy Nukim too. The Domodachi MV takes a few watches to figure out a theory - I mean, that's par for the course when it comes to a lot of the MVs for this album. lol I've got a few theories for it personally - but in short, I think it represents being thrust into the chaos of life, wanting to escape, and then once you escape (with help from your friends) choosing to re-enter the chaos out of your own free will.
About your question about why human nature causes us to pray to god(s) that we don't believe in - this is based on like ONE book I read about brain chemistry one time... but in that book, I learned that in a crisis, our brain's are hardwired to reach out to community (Humans are social animals who live in community the same way that our ape cousins do) - we look to the people we know to support us. So, my theory is that if we know/feel that our community can't help us, we pray to pretend people (ie: gods) that might be able to help us because we imagine them to be more powerful than our fellow humans who do not have the power to help us, and this satisfies that "reach out to your community" demand of our internal crisis response system. (This theory isn't meant to be insulting to people who believe in higher powers - it's more me explaining why an atheist might still pray to a god when in crisis.)
Hi Austin!! I was the same. I think I needed the lyric translations and a couple of listens before the brilliance of the song hit me. Groin has become one of my favs on the album. NamJoon is very versatile. Love him!!
Filmed in London. British saying if it walks like a duck quacks like a duck its probably a duck..As for the lyric change .. one can only guess the song was written some time ago. RM is deliberate. So I suspect theblyrics were changed to add an additional meaning in the song. Gaslighter and fighter hmmm.

As a person who don't believe in any gods, angels, gnomes, unicorns, ghosts, astrology or other supernatural stuff I can still "pray to a God I don't believe in" like really wish something will happen or not happen or try and move my coffee cup with my mind or idk it's fun to read my horoscope sometimes and see how my day or week or whatever is said to be, you know even if I don't believe in it.
I often see religion etc in lyrics etc used in a metaphorical way.
I honestly think it's super strange that adult modern day people actually believe in god's and stuff like astrology etc but as long as they don't bring misery or hurt others because of their believes I don't care. My closest friend and one of my closest relatives that I very much love and respect believes that there is a higher power.
I have no idea if RM is religious or believes in some higher power or not.
