“Instead of crying you break a leg” this is Surprisingly accurate. I once tried to check the vibes between two characters and when the NPC changeling was about to attack, my idiot half elf thought she was about to hug the other player character

Inaccurate. Adam didn't have them role for a dexterity saving throw against the golden dragon's breath weapon. Also funnily enough, golden dragons are lawful good 😁
depending on the dragon and their char level it also isn't necessary. even if you make the dex save you still take half the damage (with a few exceptions like rogues), and if that half damage is enough to fry you its not necessary to have the player roll for it.

This cute girl joined in (we explained the rules) and nobody really saw her as a threat... until she marched straight into my undefended capital not expecting an invasion from her.
Actually, fun fact. Golden dragons are not actually evil creatures in the D&D universe. A Golden Dragon falls under the category of "Metallic Dragons", such as Copper Dragons, Bronze Dragons, Silver Dragons, etc, which always fall under the "good" spectrum. The "evil" dragons are what we call "Chromatic Dragons" such as Green Dragons, Black Dragons, Red Dragons, etc. So, no. A Golden Dragon would not kill them, after all they are some of the most helpful and powerful species of Dragon: "Gold dragons are the most powerful of the metallic dragons, and the most dedicated to defeating evil. They spend the bulk of their lives in human form, seeking out evil and punishing wrongdoers to the best of its considerable abilities. Its typical mode of operation runs roughly along the lines of a sting operation: the dragon will listen for stories of dangerous or evil creatures or persons, then reveals its true form and metes out punishment. They prefer to turn villains over to law enforcement if available, but will ultimately take whatever actions they deem necessary in order to see justice served. They are best summarized as the paladins of the draconic world."
Gold Dragons are good not evil and don't usually have psionic abilities. Spells don't usually have silly gibberish names but rather say what they do. Examples: Stoneshape, Fireball, Call Lightning Using a character from a different campaign isn't usually allowed unless a DM looks over it and specifies otherwise. Two players isn't usually enough to play. The d20 is standard for most rolls and usually all come the same size but those sounded like d6s or even d4s which are usually smaller. DnD takes forever to play. Girls playing Dnd aren't as rare as you'd think; the ratio I usually see is 1in 3 which I guess is represented here, but not being used to seeing it is weird since most players have played in more than one campaign. She needed to roll bluff against them. Though doing so covertly is possible to prevent metagaming. The DM should have had to roll and explain a lot more. What they did right: Girls usually are the better players; a lot of them are more open to role playing and think stuff through. Ignoring the DM will end in death. Critical fails are a thing that people do, but even though just about everyone uses them they're not in the rules.
It's neat because Golden Dragons in D&D are actually lawful good, so she made a good point! Why it incinerated them upon waking up is questionable though... that, and they don't have psionic abilities as far as I'm aware. /nerd
We don't actually know the context, for all we know this thing could have been corrupted, the natural alignment also doesn't excuse a bunch of "dragon racists" who came into the lair for treasure.
