It is a wagon! LOL! 🤣🤭 Peace. ✌️
@Cactus Caffeine
I love the way you handle the camera, giving us time to take in everything in view. You did a wonderful job of showing us Waterwise. We can forgive a little slip of the tongue when you are hot and thirsty, showing us beautiful cactus and succulents! Keep up the good work! And thank you, again, for sharing your visit to Waterwise with us! Cheers ☕☕🌵🌵
You are so sweet Joyce! Thank you so much. By the way, I saw the pics of what you planted in the Artketty pots. They are so cute! Nice job. 😃👍🏼
@@CactusCaffeine
I am so glad you like what I did with the Artketty pots, as well as the "under the sea" scene aquarium (did you notice the String of Dolphins on the left side of the aquarium?). You inspired me to stop procrastinating and get busy on the aquarium project. And as soon as I had enough roots, I planted the cuttings in the pots. Can you tell which pot has the Calico Kittens (succulents) in it? You can share the pictures, if you would like to. I thank you for your gift of the pots, and congratulate you on your successful channel! You are teaching me a lot! Thank you for sharing!
Water Wise Nursery is a cactus lovers’ dream ! Thank you for sharing.
Holy crap!!!
I can't even believe this
Just wow.
I would probably cry if I saw that aloe tree in person!
It was amazing, like a different world.
I like the container ideas... The flexible flyer wagon is cute. .. once I saw an antique car that no longer had an engine .. they lined it... added soil and petunias..how beautiful it was with flowers trailing over the grill... bursting with color ...♥️🌵🌵👍
I am so fortunate that I live very close to this Nursery and have enjoyed a day out in this nursery. They have free succulent Saturday and host vendors. One of my favorite local things to do.
Dezi Dez oh, I so envy you. You live in the area with the best climate in the US. You can almost grow anything outside! 😃
Thank you Ana for the nursery tour and showing your plant haul beautiful 💚👍🌵🌺
My pleasure. It was too good not to make a video. I’ve been to other nurseries that I did not bother doing a video or showing the video because they are common/ordinary. But this one is so worth sharing! 😃
Thanks you a really enjoyed your video I am from England I have to grow mine plants in greenhouses and to see the nursery with all the plants growing out side was nice many thanks 😊
Best of luck!
That place is so awesome!🤩 The aeoniums, firesticks and everything are growing like weeds, so beautiful and massive. Your son is such a good plant shopping partner. Thank you for sharing this amazing place. Yes, I did saw Laura Eubanks shop there and get most of her plants. I think she has a design displayed in there too.👌🌱🌿🌵💐💓💖💞😘
Super beautiful place...
It is indeed. I wish I live close to them so I can visit more often. Thanks Erwin! 😃☕️🌵

Thank you Meriam! 🙂🌵☕️
Oh WOWSERS what an INCREDIBLE Nursery and gardens, we was in our element watching this haha, and thank you so very much Ana for filming your AMAZING visit so we can all experience it with you
It's like a paradise in there.
What a wonderful nursery. Thanks for sharing!
I absolutely so love your cactus garden tours! I wish we had greenhouses like this in the Southeast! And your son is such an adorable addition to the videos.
Thank you. 😊
Thank you, Ana, for sharing your visit to Waterwise Botanical Gardens! So beautiful. I can see why you had to restrain yourself from buying more. That must have been hard to choose just a few smaller plants. Great buy on the pumice, too! Thank you again, for sharing!
Wow Ana, what a place 😍 So many cactus and succulents to choose from, and the hillside with all the plants growing on was awesome. I love the Aloe you chose and well done for getting a bag of gold (pumice) haha, your plants will love that 😊 Really enjoyed this video Ana, thank you for taking us along with you. From Edith & myself, have a fantastic day and weekend 🌵☀️🌸🌺🏜☕️
That was such an exhilarating trip! I wouldn’t know where to begin filming if i were there. 😂 mountains and mountains of succulents and cacti! 😱 Although, i realised something...i think i prefer to enjoy my plants when they are not that massive in numbers. 🥰 i enjoy them more in a pot or in an area but not in multitudes. They retain their sense of novelty that way but then again, that is a nursery so they have to have them planted massively. 😂 thanks for sharing, Ana. 🥰
Very well narrated and filmed Ana. Love your videos. I agree about Waterwise Botanicals. It is overwhelming how huge it is.
Need to be able to return over and over. I did mail some plants home to Hawaii that I purchased there several years ago when attending their Annual 2 day Workshops. Those are awesome!
Try to go to those whenever they can resume them, COVID-19 of course.
Wow, that must have been an awesome experience to join one of their workshops! Mailing plants home , that is smart. 😉 Yes, I want to go back there so I am praying that things will return to normal once again soon. I’m glad though that I was able to go there before the lockdown. Thank you for watching this video. Cheers and Mahalo!
You had to be in heaven.
The place is so intense.
Old Lady cactus was so cool. Do you have one?
Winter time but 80 degrees!🤣🤣 no doubt warmer in summertime.
Hey at least you picked up a couple like the Redi-red. That looked cool. The alone firecracker was awesome in colors.
Great tour Ana and thanks for taking us!🌵☕🍺🌵
Hi Tim! Yes, I have an old lady cactus and also an old man cactus. No joke. Those are their names. 😄 California weather is so ideal. We are still in the 40’s at night here in Vegas.
Hi mom i do like your place there im so amazing that cactuze there to much big!
Hi there...just found your channel..I live right by Waterwise Botanicals...Thank you for showing your finds..I am a new collector of cactus and succulents and I haven't been able to visit yet. I am looking forward to it, though. :)
Oh my, I am so jealous! You are so close to many good nurseries around that area. Your climate is also perfect for growing cactus and succulents. 😃
Cactus Caffeine i didn’t realize how many good nurseries I’m surrounded by. Definitely lucky 😊
My dream retirement travels , real soon, are going to be all botanical gardens through the US, especially the ones you CZcamsrs show, so that place will be on my bucket list to visit! Thank you for sharing!
Oh my, that would be so exciting! I wish you all the best. Yes, definitely check this place out. ☺️ Cheers! 🌵☕️
Wow wow What a huge nursery 🥰🥰🥰🥰🤩 Sending you 40 hugs from southern Sweden 🤩
Collection of unseen nature cheers from Las Vegas! Hope all is well with you. ☺️🌵☕️
I loved your voice mam. 😍 Very positive .. 😍🌵
Wow! I never knew I lived so close to this nursery! (I live in Rancho Cucamonga). I have definitely got to visit this place for sure! Thanks Cactus Caffeine!
You are surrounded by many beautiful nurseries! You are lucky.
Hello hi 😀nice😍👍
Thank you! Cheers. ☺️🌵☕️
I like 😍🥰
Thank you for sharing this place Ana, I would love to have a walk around there, unfortunately we do not have outdoor cactus nursery’s in UK. Keep on sharing, I always look forward to viewing your new videos when they come out.
Aww,😌 Maybe you can have your own little outdoor garden in your yard? Thank you Peter, I appreciate you watching my videos. ☺️ Cheers from Las Vegas to UK. ☕️
What an awesome place! Great tour, Ana!
New Subscriber here watching from the Philippines 🇵🇭
Nice vlogs, I enjoyed watching
Salamat po! 😃
@@CactusCaffeine 😁❤️❤️❤️
Wow, I luv it!
Thanks for this wonderful video. 🌵🌵🌵
What a fabulous place to visit. That aloe tree is amazing! I suspect it was on the property before the botanical gardens opened. I'd be very interested in the history of this place since I grew up very near there on the coast (Oceanside/Carlsbad)
Joan Clarke, if you can it is worth a visit. Their patches of garden are really amazing. Plus a few minutes drive around will take you to lots of interesting nurseries as well.
Amazing nursery, no way I could ever find such large plants in here. I am a sucker for large specimen and I always wondered where Laura was getting the ones she uses in her designs. Thank you Ana for taking us along, a bit frustrating for you too not beeing able to purchase some smaller cactuses, they would grow fast in your garden. They would grow fast in mine too🤪
I think your weather is the same as Southern California. So yes, you can grow these large specimens too in your garden. In Las Vegas, we get freezing winter nights, sometimes even snow. So many of these would only survive in a heated greenhouse. I was told the the euphorbia that I purchased is frost tender.
Amazing and interesting. I may try to grow some cactus from seeds. It is really a fun project
Thanks for sharing.
I Think you love the red color. I do too .
I’ll be going to visit that nursery too next month and make sure I’ll get some pumice.
I enjoy the tour.
Ramona Macabugao, every first Saturday of the month, they give out free succulents for everybody. Also on April 24-25, they have Succulent Celebration where there will be food vendors and demonstrations and of course plant sale. 😃 Enjoy! If only I live close. 😌
WOW........GREAT....
Waoooooo que paraíso que suerte conocer un lugar asi
Gracias amigo! 🙂
lets go to a cactus shop!!!!
I would love that. 👍🏼
😍😍😍👍
That's an elephant bush on steroids!😆
Wow, Id love to go there 1 day!😏
I have to plant up a Radio Flyer wagon / wheel barrow. That way I can take my succulents for a walk in the park ! 😉 (4:10) - I’ve always wanted to do a pallet planter. This inspired me to go ahead. ~ ‘Firesticks’ are great until you start seeing them in every yard. Then they can become too much of a good thing. ~ (12:00) - The tree Aloe was named Aloe bainesii and is now Aloidendron barberae. All the tree aloes have been moved into the genus Aloidendron. Dendron means tree. That Aloe tree grows 30 feet tall in SoCal., 60 feet tall in South Africa. ~ An alternative inorganic media, since you can’t get pumice, is Turface All Sport Soil Conditioner, ($13.00 / 50 lbs.), available at Site One, etc.. Also Floor Dry , ($10.00 / 24 quarts), available at Napa Auto Stores. Floor Dry is diotomite rock , which is diatomaceous earth before it is crushed into a powder. Do not use the powder form. I use both plus pumice in my soil mix and have had great results. Using just one of the three as an inorganic addition also works fine. When using perlite, coarse, large grain perlite is better than regular small grain, if you can find it. - P.S. - Turface is made of calcined clay. Turface MVP is a larger grain size than All Sport.
Lol on taking your succulents for a walk. 😄 Yup, it is a wagon. The heat was too much for me, I even heard myself say I’m going back to California instead of Vegas. 😂 Thanks for all those tips on inorganic media. Hopefully, this big bag of pumice will last me for a while. Thanks for talking about the aloe. Your comment will surely help a lot of the viewers as well. 😀🌵☕️
Cactus Caffeine - Those few days in the 80’s were record setting. Though coastal SD can get hot during the Santa Ana winds, the more typical breezes off the ocean usually keep us in mild temps. ~ Another nursery that sells large specimen cactus is Oasis Water Efficient Gardens. Two nurseries that offer nice smaller plants are Botanical Wonders and Rainbow Gardens Nursery, both in Vista, Ca.. B.W. you need to call ahead for an appointment. They do sell online. I believe R.G. has regular hours but it’s always best to call to make sure they are open. Some of the specialty nurseries in SD are by appointment only because they are out of the way and do most of their business online or at shows, etc..
Oh, I’m keeping notes for when I go to California again next. Thanks! 😃
wow! ang ganda jan, sis! hope one day i can travel in wonderful places such as the gardens of Bonsall, California
Hi! Ms. Marge Santillian is also a filipina but base in america. Hello po, new subscriber po
Nasa heaven feels 😍😍😍
MUITO lindo 😍😍😍😍😍🤗🤗🤗
Very inersting.
You know Anna here in Khartoum the temperature ranges beteen 95 and 105 most of the year, but the extreme is 120 in April and May.
We treate cactus as a normal houseplant and irrigate everyday.
3:21 the blooming ponytails palm
The mammillaria bocasana doesnt have a lot of thorns only when its little? And the thorns grows again if they re not yet in the mammillaria? Pls answer me anna
Yes, that’s where Laura Eubanks go to.
DC Harrison, I just realized that when I was there. I didn’t even get to see the small section of garden that she designed over there. Maybe next time...
Man! My wife and I went to Las Vegas for a 30 year anniversary! And I fell in love with Las Vegas! And we did visit some type of hotel that had a cactus garden I think they had it decorated for Christmas and it was beautiful. But Laura, she is really good at what she does. And I want to say thank you for all that you do and that you talk about succulents and cacti. It helps me a lot. But I don’t know all the science typic names of all the succulents I have . I hate when I go to buy a succulent or cactus there’s no name on it so I try to do research and I get a headache because I don’t know what’s what!😕 so I have to invest in a cacti and succulents book that has all different types of cactus and succulents in them so that I can put a name to them.
@@dcharrison3140 me too...I found some apps that I am trying out that you help with identifying different species. "Picture This" is the app I am trying out now. You can take a picture of your plant and then it gives you the name. Not as accurate as I'd like it to be, but you can ask the community for help with the pictures you take...
1:42 Hi does anyone know what those pink flowers are coming from it looks like a crassula, maybe spring time?
But I loved the tour
☕️😉🌷
Where’s this amazing place?
Fallbrook, California ☺️
Aloe tree..it is:Aloe barbare old name: Aloe Bainesi
The tree is a climbing aloe! Probably 20 years
Amazing, isn’t it?! 🙂
Pa-share po 😍
Sure! Thanks.
I thought it was called a wagon? Lol.
Oh yeah! Hahaha. The heat was getting into me.
I’m jealous of y’all’s weather! It’s up and down here in Cincinnati Ohio! I guess I have to be patient!
When summer hits in Vegas, I’d be jealous of the weather elsewhere in the US. 🥵😉
