- Join me as I tour the Waterwise Botanicals Nursery and Gardens at Bonsall, California. Have you ever seen a tall tree aloe called Aloe tongaensis? Do you want to see towering Euphorbias and a mountain of succulents? This is by far the biggest succulents nursery that I have visited.

Thank you for sharing beautiful and amazing plants collection lovely Nursery
Hope you enjoyed the virtual tour. 😉
Wow! Thank you for bringing us along!
Beautiful! Love this place…. 💚💚💚
It really is! Wish I live closer to it.
Awesome ! 🌵🌵🌵
Happy Mother's day to you Ana, your cacti always look beautiful, so full of blooms, they always look amazing!!
WOW! So amazing, thanks for sharing, enjoyed the tour while I drank my coffee! East coast here, I would love to live on the west coast for plant life alone!
The bearded cactus is Micranthocereus purpurea. When the caphalium is on one side, instead of complete onthe top- it's called a "pseudocephalium". Thank you for the great video you did, of us. Come back and see the new Bromeliad wall we built in the new greenhouse. You are truly a friend of Waterwise Botanicals!
Thank you so much Mr. Tom Jesch for stopping by my channel! I love going to Waterwise whenever I’m in California. I was in California last month to pay Brent Wigand a visit and we were talking about your Opuntia hybrids. Both of you are an inspiration to me. ☺️🌵♥️
Thanks for the tour. Very nicely done. 😊😊
Amazing tour, thank you!
Thanks!
One of my favorite nurseries!!! 1st Saturday of every month is their Free Succulent Sat! Always a good day to go. Thanks for the tour!
Haha. I always miss that 1st Saturday of each month when I visit.
I thought this was a Laura Eubanks video 😂 we love Water Wise.
Wow amasing😍😍😍
Very amazing nursery
Hi Ana, that bearded cactus may be a Cleistocactus ( possibly C. ritteri).
Thank you for the tour, beautiful as always.
Thank you! I will check that ID.
Amazing!
Amazing nursery ! I would be wandering around there for sooooo many hours !
It really is! Good thing car space was a constraint for me. 😉
Aaaah yes!! Ready for it 🔥🔥💚
Excellent tour Ana 😎 One day maybe I'll have a succulent mountain 😁Have a good evening 😊😊🌵🌵
😁 I would love to see that some day!
Excellent work! I wanna move to that area of the US just to have a cactus yard haha
Thanks Anna I love loved the nursery tour. The succulents and cacti are breathtaking. I love love agaves and man gaves the blue glow is one I would love
I’m new to mangaves. But I’m liking how they look. Hopefully I can keep them alive. 🤞🏼 I’m glad you enjoyed the tour. ☺️🌵☕️
Amazing and huge nursery
ma'am Ana.💗
I wish I had known you were going. I would have asked you to drop off one of each to me in Phoenix on your way home...LOL.
Love learning from you.
😂
Oh, I wish we had a nursery like that here in Canada. I would spend every weekend there. Thanks for the tour!
Thanks for watching! This nursery is a 4-hour drive for me. 😁 Wish I have one closer in Vegas, too. Hope you enjoyed this video.
looking at this, esp. that magnificent groups of blue torch cactus, i really wish my country step up their game on succulent collection. blue torch cactus - and other blue succulents - is ridiculously rare here and the lack of _Kumara plicatilis_ here infuriates me.
here, aglaonemas, pothos, and alocasias are over-dominating the market, no places for such magnificent blue succulents. or maybe it’s because of the climate; maybe this is why alocasias and aglaonemas are really sought after in the west
WOW what a BRILLIANT tour of Waterwise Botanicals Nursery and gardens, that very big beautiful Aloe tree looked like it had feet and toes haha, so many BEAUTIFUL plants there and amazing large cacti and succulent and Air Plants plants for sale, I wish we had nurseries like amazing in Ireland, I LOVE the cacti with the woolly cephaliums, I wonder if they could be a variety of Cleistocactus, the Mangave you have bought is BEAUTIFUL and it was so wonderful to see you in the video :-D thanks so much for sharing the fantastic tour with us Ana, and Hans and I are sending you lots of love and happiness and CAFFEINE and PLANT POWER to Las Vegas for a wonderful Thursday XXXX

It’s always a treat to visit Waterwise Botanical, even if virtually! Thanks for the tour!
Haha. Thanks for watching
Next trip to SoCal, I am there
Another amazing one is up. Ive been waiting for this one since I saw the post on Facebook. I've also shared some of my bloom on your facebook page. There is aprecial message in there. Hopefully, you will see them. Thank you Anna.
Wonderful! I’ll check it out on my Facebook. ☺️👍🏼
Wow, what a fantastic garden and nursery, Ana, and wonderful video tour of this very impressive place! Thanks so much for sharing and taking us along! A shame that you did not have more space to take along more plants, on the other hand, probably a very effective way of stopping from spending lot's of money, haha! Hope you are having an awesome Thursday, very best wishes to you in Las Vegas, take care and happy growing!!🌵🌵🌵🌺🏵
Haha. So true Joe. I’m glad I took a small car. But watching the video again, I realized I could have just bare root them and wrap them in paper! 🤦🏻♀️ Next time I will do that!
Agave it is!
Great tour Ana!!! I love it when you guys take me to the nurseries!!! I don't get to go to any here. I have a couple of those mangaves! I have purple people eater & pineapple express! I love the colors in them!! I also have the aloe of the same name! Love the huge Cactus & Euphorbias !! The one you were wondering about is " Euphorbia resinifera from the atlas mountains of Morocco. One of the first Euphorbias used in ancient medicine! Used by the king of Mauritanias physician " Euphorbus" and the substance made from this plant was known as "euphorbium". Hence the family name Euphorbia, Euphorbiaceae! So that plant has a history!! Wow this nursery has so much to see in pots and in the ground!!! Creates a lot of color at a distance!! Thanks for sharing and taking us along!!! From Morris Park in the Ozarks, out to Las Vegas, have a wonderful evening!!! Peace, Love, Plants!!!!!✌️💖🌵🥀🌳🌿🌷🌱🌴🌹🌲💐🍀🌻🌾🪴🌸😃👍
Wow! Thanks for that great information on the Euphorbia, Clyde. I just needed an ID but I got more than that from you. 😃👍🏼 You are a walking Encyclopedia of Euphorbias. ☺️
Awesome nursery tour, Ana 😃 Loads of stunning plants there. Loved the display at 15:00 very cool. Thank you for taking us along with you, Ana. Have a wonderful day from Edith & myself ☀️🌵🌼🌸🌺🏜☕️
Glad you enjoyed it! Yes, that garden is a dream landscape. But most of the plants there will get cooked in the hot Vegas summer. Southern California weather is so much more hospitable to succulents. 😉
We LOVE your tour of our nursery! We are so glad you came out to visit us again!
Always a fun treat for me when I’m in California. 😃 Thanks for visiting my channel. ☺️🌵
The Agave is ' Kichiocan Variegata'
You probably know by now but that’s Moroccan Mound… it grows in full sun in the ground in Phoenix.
Hi Ana missed your videos! Welcome back to Cali! Thanks for the video I’ve been wanting to go to that nursery for ever and haven’t gotten a chance yet 😂. The small agave that you were referring to is called a variegated kish o kan it’s a Japanese native agave! If you come to LA green thumb nursery in canoga park has a ton!
Oh, thank you for the agave ID!
@16:29 omg ate anna nakaka lula yung euphorbia🤩🤩 i keep mine sa maliit na cement pot because i know na it will grow fast if i will repot it or ilagay ko sa ground. Naka ilang putol na rin ako kasi dati nasa 6ft tall na siya and pag may typhoon and malakas ang hangin nakaka takot siya 😂 i am scared that it will snap and ma ruin yung plants below😂
Haha. Oo nga. Yung mga bagyo diyan sa atin can easily knock these tall Euphobias down.
Great video Ana - I'm hoping I'll make it to that nursery someday, but I don't mind settling for video tours for now. That Agave Kissho Kan that you liked in Laura's display is on my list to add to my collection this year! It's really too bad all those cacti you came across weren't for sale. There were some great ones in there! I look forward to seeing that bad hair day grow throughout your future videos.
In all the years I lived in San Diego and traveled all around the county, I never went to the fabulous nurseries there. I wasn’t into cacti at that time. You better bet that the next time I drive to California I’m filling up the back of my car. They have so much that we don’t have in our nurseries in Las Vegas. You would think Las Vegas would have more cacti for sale then anywhere else being a desert town.
You should go to So. California soon, Pam. I believe that their weather is more suited to growing more varieties of cacti than ours. Must be why most of the growers are in California.
I would have to leave my cards at home and only bring a set amount of cash or i would have to rent a trailer to bring the haul back home
😄
You’re cactus caffeine…. I’m cactus red wine….
At 13:55 is Eurphorbia resinifera
Ah! Thank you for the ID.
Thanks, what soil mix are they using here?
Do you know what the reason is for the rows of cacti not for sale at bottom of the hill that are in pots
Id like it much better if you would get rid of that back ground music. It is much nicer when it goes off. I like your program. Thank you
15:50 that agave is acalled agave kissho kan
Thank you for the ID on the agave. I will look for one. 😊
Hi..i just discovered your video..do you have any recommendations cactus for tropical country like indonesia..because i understand you've lived in the Philippines?
You can grow any type of cactus as long as you protect them from too much rain. But any of the jungle cactus should do well in your climate as they like more water and humidity.
How to get alluaudia procera plnt seeds? Could you help me?
So sorry I don’t know exactly who has it in their inventory. But you can try unusualseeds.net or mesagarden.com
