My take is if being a fusion doesn't make you immune to the body swap because you're two souls in one, Ginyu's new fusion body would be forced to stay in one place due to only having one essence in it. And the fused soul would stay in Ginyu's previous body until it could inhabit another fused body and finally separate

Well i think captain ginyu will die or he couldn't exchange the body in the first place bcz he could switch the body at a small level like 5000 which goku had in namek saga and even in doing that he faced a lot of difficulty so he couldn't switch the body as fusion has a very high power so he doesn't have strength to exchange
ginyus soul is split into ying and yang ... dark and light think of nami and piccolo. meaning proberly vageta would be dark and goku light sides of ginyu. ginyu in a fused body would not be able to use SSJB or SSJ god ect and would most likely no longer know the fusion dance... you would then need to force patro earings on them and have someone like Gotenks hold them with a donut to force a swap back i think would make an excellent filler ark XD
When two people fuse, dance or potara the result is a whole different person. So my theory is that when the fusion separates its parts return with their original minds intact while Ginyu’s mind vanishes but returns when the two same parts ever fuse again. With Ginyu’s body the fusions mind will remain indefinity since is now no longer in a time limited body. Imagine if say Goku and Vegeta actually being able to talk to Vegito in Ginyu’s body. Of course this is just my theory.

In my opinion if ginyu try the technique it won’t work. Yes I know a fusion creates one being but doesn’t change the facts that the fusion still has two bodies and two souls therefore if ginyu manages to do his technique simply won’t do anything probably the only thing it would do is paralyze vegito or gogeta but is not able to change bodies.
What if Ginyu only switched bodies with the fusions dominant personality e.g Goku if Gogeta or Vegeta if Vegetto? That way, when they defuse Ginyu's spirit either goes into Goku or Vegeta's body and either Goku or Vegeta remain in Ginyu's old body! I think that is the most likely outcome, but it would create an interesting dynamic as you would have a fused being at war with himself, which could give rise to a Kami and Piccolo or Evil and Good Buu type situation!
I think for vegito ginyu to be created ginyu would have to swap bodies with goku and after that he would have to go to a reality where he swapped bodies with vegeta and then have the two ginyus fuse into vegito ginyu!
I think the body *can't* defuse, tho ginyu has 0 ways to know there memory or control the power like transformations and techniques properly, unless he wished to the dragon balls that he knows, has access, and can use all the powers and memories of whoever he switches bodies with
