Special welcome to our guest speakers, Dana Croschere & Krisanna Sexton, of Rescued Hearts Films. Today we are going to talk about The Miracles, The Mystery, and The Science of Healing with Horses.
Dana Croschere is an award-winning film producer and has spent the last 15 years volunteering at various ranches, immersing herself in the transformative world of equine-assisted therapies and witnessing the healing power, presence, and sacred connection between horses and humans.
Krisanna Sexton, an award-winning Director with Live Wild Films, is driven by a mission to spread hope and healing. While her experience with horses may not be extensive, Krisanna's belief in exploring alternative modalities for healing inspires her work as a director.
Her most recent film success, "Love Heals," has received acclaim across international boundaries. Scheduled for a national broadcast on PBS in January 2024, this documentary stands as a testament to Krisanna's ability to touch hearts and minds through her heartfelt storytelling. Her work on "Rescued Hearts" promises to be a continuation of her mission to inspire and heal through the medium of film.
The Inspiration Behind Rescued Hearts
I once witnessed a miracle when a 7-year-old boy with autism spoke his very first words while interacting with a horse, and it forever changed my life.
After hearing countless stories of people who have experienced miraculous transformations in the presence of horses, I began to wonder, "Why are horses so healing to humans and what are they here to teach us?"
My partner, Krisanna, and I are award-winning filmmakers, and together we are embarking on a journey to better understand the horse-human connection.
Our film will share powerful stories from those who have experienced incredible transformations and those who have dedicated their lives to equine-assisted work. We'll highlight researchers who can speak to why this connection is so powerful and share tools to help us access our healing power within.
Rescued Hearts isn't just the story of horses; it's the story of all of us and the power that lies within to create healing and transformation in our lives.

Great interview and beautiful, important work. Thank you! It is heartwarming and hopeful that more and more humans are feeling the calling to honour horses as Divine Spiritual Beings. This connection and growth will continue over the next several decades and beyond. Thank you Caroline and guests for bringing together the humans who hold horses with great reverence and to raise awareness for All. Imagine if we each honoured ourselves as the High Spiritual Beings we already are, and we lived, behaved in our daily life, as our highest selves. .. imagine what that would do for us personally, for humanity, for the horses and for all the non-human animals. True abundance, joy and peace are already ours. Living it is much easier than our minds think it is, when we embrace the trust and love of the Infinite Universe, and horses are here to help us do just that.
As discussed in the interview, just being in the presence of horses is a natural, grounding, releasing aka healing, experience.

Just a comment about Heartland, it helped me through a dark time. I'm so into Heartland, I have watched Heartland SEASON 1 to 17 on CBC Windsor. But SEASON 1 to 13 I am on my 38th time through. Season 14 and 15 26Times. Season 16 and 17 9 times.
Life is a redemption story for each one. As believer in Creator GOD he told us to find him by asking, quite ourselves and wait. Horses are a royal spiritual being Abba Father gifted. I lost my first horse last week. His mare stayed Goodby as he lay in the soft pasture. When the vet came with the syringe she turned and put her head into my husband s arm pit. Horses are true and pure.
