Pls note: The air flow indicator arrow should be pointing UP. To 'recirculate' cabin air, the setting does pull the air from the floor. 😊

Yes the audio in this video is incorrect, you would install the filter with the arrow pointing up.

Author was right. Air flows down ward which then picked up by a blower. U can clearly see the debris on top of the filter but not from the bottom side.
