After 18 games this season Spurs have:

3 point difference after 18 games.
Let’s look at Everton:
After 19 games last season they had:
3 wins, 6 draws, 10 loses. 15 points.
After 19 games this season they have:
8 wins, 2 draws, 9 loses.
16 points, but without deduction 26.
That’s an ELEVEN point difference.

Everton has progressed the most.
ALOT more than Spurs. Dyche is turning that team around more than Ange.
Ange is making Spurs play alot more exciting, but so is Dyche with Everton.
I think what Dyche is doing is alot better progress that Ange. These days, I’d actually change it to Bournemouth and what they’re doing. But that’s only been going on for a month. So we’ll wait and see. What has Ange done in you twos opinion to be seen as a better progress that Dyche and Everton?

I disagree that it «has to be haaland». His performances stagnated towards the end of last season; he was not the differencemaker in neither semifinal or final he played in. His general level is obvs staggering, but I honestly think POTY has been Rodri very comfortably. 8/10 atleast every single week. Absolutely matchwinning against teams like Bayern and Ofc that CL final winner. The powerhouse of a treble-winning side!

Haaland did make the difference in the semifinal. City lost with Jesus at striker even though he scored. Haaland terrified Real so badly that he improved the rest of the squads performance. You just have to understand football better.

Doku is 4 years younger than Rice and cost half the price so it’s really not a bad shout.

Salah is getting to little attention imo. If you talk about availability as a big factor for Rodri, Salah is the most extremely available player in the league. The only reason I remember him being unavailable is Afcon. Never injured, never sent off.

Although there are arguments for Maddison being a better signing than rice, he just isn't, is he? Rice is the only 100mill signing to have that impact so instantly, for his roles has been Better than Maddison, and has actually played every game rather than half of them (availability and a the best ability). To use 'Maddison has had a bigger impact' is kind of redundant when you see how shit spurs were last year, much easier to raise that level than it was for a team in a title race, spurs improvement isn't just Maddison, it's ange, udogie, son form, van de ven, Bissouma form. It's collective.
