    • 🔥 Anti-log (0.05) ? Ho...
    Just memorize log2=0.3010 log3=0.4771 log5=0.699 and log7=0.8451 only.
    log(6.1) = log (6+0.1) = log6 + 0.4*0.1/6 = log2 + log3 + 0.0067 = 0.3010+0.4771+0.0067 = 0.7848
    what if log(137)=log(140-3)=log2+log7+log10-0.4*3/140 = 0.3010+0.8451+1-0.0086= 2.1375 (approx)
    remember: delta x(increment/decrement) should be much more smaller than 'x'

    Just memorize log2=0.3010 log3=0.4771 log5=0.699 log7=0.8451
    Example 1:
    log(6.1) = log (6+0.1) = log6 + 0.4*0.1/6 = log2 + log3 + 0.0067 = 0.3010+0.4771+0.0067 = 0.7848
    what if log(137)=log(140-3)=log2+log7+log10-0.4*3/140 = 0.3010+0.8451+1-0.0086= 2.1375 (approx)
    Example 2:
    log (0.6) = log (6/10) = log6 - log 10 = log (2*3) - 1 = log2 +log3 -1
    =0.3010 +0.4771 -1 = -0.2219
    Example 3:
    log(737) as log (736) = log (32*23) =log (2^5) +log 23
    =5log2 +log (24-1) = 5*0.3010+ log24 - 0.4* 1/24
    = 1.505 + log(2*2*2*3)-0.016 6=1.505 +3log2 + log 3 + 0.4771 -0.016; now 1.489 +3*0.3010 + 0.4771 -0.016=2.88 approx
    Example 4:
    log23.32 = log(2.332*10)= log (2+0.332 ) + 1 =
    log 2 + 0.4 *0.332/2) + 1 = 0.3010 + 0.066 +1 =1.367approx

      you take log 20 for approximation; log2 + log 10 = 0.3010 + 1 =1.3010; so log 19 will be slightly less than 1.3; exact value also can be known ; watch my log videos. playlist: czcams.com/play/PL9nSaEI0m9rcmRrloEOMeH-0EslIyoYs0.html

    Ma'am how to find value of log (1.062)

    • @Worldofchemistryclass11and12
      @Worldofchemistryclass11and12  Před 2 lety +1

      1.062 lies in between 1.05 and 1.08; (a) Take 1.05 in place of 1.062 now log(1.05) = Log(3x5x7) x 10^(-2) = log3+log5+log7 - 2log10 = 0.4771+0.699+0.8451 -2 =0.0212; (b) take approx 1.08 in place of 1.062 Now log(1.08) log(3^3 x 2^2) + 10^(-2) = 3log3+2log2 - 2 = 3x0.4771+2x0.3010 -2 = 0.033. now the value lies in between 0.0212 and 0.033; hence the answer is 0.027 approx

    • @Worldofchemistryclass11and12
      @Worldofchemistryclass11and12  Před 4 lety +1

      (1) you can take approx value as log 6; then log(3x2) it is log 3 + log 2 = 0.4771 +0.3020 =0.7791
      (2) since it is log 6.2 (not log6 as we calculated) , you can approximate 0.7791 to either 0.78 or 0.79.
