Personally, as I've gotten older, the oats have began to taste better and better. I actually like them just as much, if not more than the marshmallows. I agree though, they perfectly balance eachother

They started selling 7oz bags of much larger and puffier lucky charms marshmallows. They were too puffy and took away everything that was good about the original cereal marshmallows☹️.
My niece did this one morning not too long ago, she collected all of the marshmallows and and filled up a bowl full, she wanted me to have a bite, and wow, it was sooooo sickly sweet, and i found it gross, But hey, she completed something that I always wanted to do when i was her age and never got the chance lol
I could handle the sweetness and I want to. It can't be that bad! I did that when I was 10 and took out the marshmallows and ate just those and it was amazing. My mom was mad at me.
