What a beautiful job you did! Amazing build. Its an examplary model that amateur and professional builders everywhere can learn from. Watched it from the beginning. Just mind blowing.
Thank you so much! Made my day 🙂
I'm in Crockett, so I'm a NorCal van man myself. I have learned so much watching your videos and am amazed at your devotion to detail. I wish you all the best in your journeys and in life. You're one of a kind. 🙏
Thanks for the video. Would love to see a full AC test on a bright sunny day from one morning to the next morning. You don't have to go anywhere, just do it in your drive-way :) If panel shading allows, that is. Frankly, any kind of systems tests from the convenience of your driveway would be really informative and great to see.
Cheers, Sev
You'll figure out fly fishing just like you figured out how to build your van. Enjoy the process and enjoy the van now that it's completed.
Definitely know what u mean re the effort it takes to film while you’re suppose to be relaxing. That’s why we’re thankful that u took the effort & shared w/us.
Such a nice comment. He is solo, works extra hard to make this interesting on his biggest dream thus far.
Love watching people get into fly fishing. Try to finding “holes” or “pools” that are deeper and have calm riffles running through it. If it’s an area with lots of rocks it’s a little harder to find fish! Keep it up
Congrats on the trip. I always look forward to your videos.
Great video, nice to see you enjoy your labor.
I love these types of videos. Thank you for sharing them.
I'm getting a sprinter 170 delivered in November and I'm planning on DIYing the build. I've been binge watching your videos for the last couple weeks already and I can't wait to get started; you have answered a lot of questions for me already! I'm in Sacramento as well so it's nice to see you building your van close to home!
Sure appreciate you making these videos. I know these things take a tone of effort and time
Its really good to see how the build is working out in real life - i hope you can keep posting the occassional new type of trip - tracelling with friends, different sports, and the like :) And how the different techniques and features you used hold up - 8020, shower, bed use, starlink, etc. - not enough honest content from others on this after their builds.
Good idea!
Yoooo, so good to see this. I hope you remembered to take down the starlink, and you definitely need to get a set of cutlery and whatnot for eating and cooking. Really great to see the van and what you've done the past many months. I can only dream to do something similar myself one day.
I definitely want to see more videos.
I'm emotionally exhausted and imaging myself being in the van somewhere.
Always love to see adventures in the van. Worth the effort! 🙂good way to mix up the content from builds. Thanks for all the hard work you put in to create content for us to enjoy! 💛
The Van is so awesome!
Thanks for showing the induction cooktop. I've been wondering how much battery it would draw to use one for a few minutes! I agree, everything takes 10x longer while filming!
Thank you!
Not a subscriber, but will as soon as you post another trip video. You build these incredible vans but we don't get to see them in use. The few small trips you post look fun and are enjoyable to watch. Your build videos are great, but at another level for this neophyte.
Always fun
to Watch
Thank you! I would like to see some additional adventures in the Van!
I definitely want to see more videos. and all the smart things you come up with. i'm sure you can male a mount to film while you work inside your van. And Yes outdoor filming takes a great skill.
This was so cool. Thank you for showing us step by step and the battery part as well. THOSE are the questions I have! I have no idea what hours of a battery bank means in how long will it last before it runs out! LOL So to see the actual usage helps this neurodivergent brain of mine.
Finally 🙌!
My dream would be to see you use your engineering brain to optimize the inside of the van and the liveability. Building a van is a massive undertaking which you've covered so well. But once it's built, there are so many things one notices about the inside; how to optimize storage, how to optimize the van based on daily routines, how materials hold up, location of different things, how to fasten and attach things etc etc.
Keep it up bro!
Yea dude hundo p. This is a great idea I’m gonna start thinking…
Thank you! Awesome adventure van and with where you live you will have all kinds of opportunities in the future! Enjoy!!!
My husband is an avid fly fisherman and from what I know ….. hire an instructor. Get good quality waders. And don’t bother with fishing platforms. If you ever come to central Oregon (where fly fishing is huge) he’d be happy to give you a free lesson.
I was thinking the same thing. As a platform as such just makes everyone privy to stuff and before you know whatever is being made available gets flooded and exhausted by everyone going there.
Dude, that was fun! I'm in the process of building out our Sprinter and use your vids for a lot of inspiration. Hint: Stop by 99 Ranch and other Asian stores, they have much more better selection, everything from Induction Stoves, cooking supplies to packaged meals - you will be rewarded with the selection! Having a big pack of chopsticks in the van in a life saver for those times when you're trying to find a fork.
Thanks. Very good video!!!
Thanks!
I watch and I am so jealous!
🌺 loving the build, it’s pretty hi tech for sure. Just found your vlog and loving going thru these. Aloha
Thank you. Appreciate it!!
Interesting to see how much power was used by the induction cooker - a little 5% of 1000 was used for boiling noodles.
Enjoyed the video. Tip for the fishing... before you walk up on the water, rig up and cast to the spot you are coming up to right at the bank. You will be surprised how often fish can be right there. Also, get lower, sneaking up on the water. Trout don't have great eye-sight but they can see tall figures at the water's edge. Sneak lower on your knees if you can. Those waters were low and slow so they may be more spooked out. Enjoy your fly fishing travels.
Lovely video as usual. I’m thinking the pans aren’t robust enough for induction, but I could be wrong. I do love how they come in it’s own case though! I’m nearly there for some Van trips too, just gotta finalize my day jobs and then it’s all me time, love to compare notes maybe Jan, meet at the bagel place?
Love your videos… thanks for posting them…
Awesome bro!
More More!
Beautiful van beautiful view sorry you didn’t catch any fish.
lol keep doing videos you are awesome
I've never fly fished looks interesting..Salt water fishing is more my thing.I like the day trip you took us on.You need to do more videos like that.I really enjoyed it. Thanks for the ride along 😎
You’re adorable! You need to make a cooking show for young people :)
10 and 2, and use your forearm more than the wrist. For fly selection look around the area for insects and match the hatch. Terrestrials are perfect for those areas. Hoppers, crickets, and ants. Thanks again for the videos,
Thanks Steven!
Getting out there.👍
Enjoyed the video!
Always looking forward to your videos. Suggestion, in your video, show the content and just do a voice over
I know those platforms pretty well, and I agree with those who have said forget about them. When it was my time to learn, I never really considered the fact that fish could see me if I could see them! Standing out on a platform, I think the only way I could catch a fish from there as if the fish was in the shade at my feet! I really enjoyed the video, I am Going to be using induction cooktops and I was wondering about the loud sound. When they were brand new you could hear the magnets clunking around like some medical test! Thank you very much for the video, I know that they are difficult and time-consuming to put together and yours are always entertaining…
Appreciate it Bill!
enjoyed your video. you should definitely do more travel vlogs. perhaps even add a little music too
🤙
Nice video my friend! 🙂
It's a bad year to learn flyfighing in California. The rivers are way to low because of the drought.
Like my induction hob, only issue is kettle/pans sliding if van isn’t perfectly level!
I had the same problem and added a rubber mat, which works perfect, the pan still ‘connects’ with the induction hob. Not sure where i got it from.
@@joopzhez2024 think I found a similar thing, silicone sheets/pads. Just arrived and seem to be doing the trick👍🏼
Dude i love this! 200 watts?? Goodness, my only thing is music man, metal, guitar, anything that makes the roommates freak out you know?
Man I have seen you do so many awesome things, paying $20 for Ramen is definitely not one of them😳
Oh! I wanted to see you turn on all the roof rack lights! 😞
plz uploads videos regularly.
Great video once again. With all your gear in your built, have you weighted the van lately?
Love your van and the videos, but who is "we"?? 😉
Thanks for bringing us along! Looking forward to even more adventures!! 🤘🏼⚡️🤙🏼
PS: Will you be going over your new suspension setup later on?
Potentially! Will likely integrate it into these travel vids
@@seven_o_savage Sweet! 🙌🏼⚡️🤙🏼
Great vid! Thx! How tall are you? Can you stand straight in the van?
Where did you pick up the ramen kit from?
I hate food delivery. It's Soo easy, soo expensive and your Credit Card will love them 🤣
Any info you can pass along about how you registered your 144 when you bought it from Reno? I’m in CA and buying from Reno and hoping it’s a simple process
Savage, is there a video on the suspension upgrade youve mentioned several times? I dont remember this, and Ive followed this build from giddyup
No full video, but I will integrate into these travel vids and potentially make a dedicated one since it seems people are interested
14:30 Veganism - The Only Ethical Choice. Replacements available.
Awesome trip. It looks wonderful! I'm always wondering who is "we"?
Me and my imaginary friends
@@seven_o_savage haha looks like you guys are having a lot of fun ;)
Hi, love the videos. I'm debating a cruisencomfort or a dometic rtx 2000 12v for my 144wb. The only concern with CnC is the noise inside and outside? How is it for sleeping... noise levels? Would you still do it the same way if you had a do over? Thanks.
The noise is only bothersome when I have the evaporator on full blast.
That being said I still think CnC are the highest quality by a good margin
That water looks very low. You wont find fish in there.
Have you removed some of your videos? I remember there being more.
Nope, they should all be there!
@@seven_o_savage thank you. Love your channel. Its my templant to my own build. Your perfection is my blueprint.
Grub looks good! Did you remember to take Elons dish down?
Yes 😅
First!
Thanks for all of your videos! I really appreciate all the great information.
Are you really going to use the Suspension upgrade and the massive Battery bank. It’s like the rich dude that buys a Lamborghini and mostly drives slow. Do more camping and less building.
Watch out for monkey pox…lol
Dude, what are you doing?! I thought you would be long traveling to all kinds of nice places by now. What's the point of this over-the-top build if you don't enjoy it, and even start worrying when you park it for just one hour? Maybe you should sell this one too, start over with a low budget used beater van, no fancy build, so you can enjoy traveling instead of worrying about your high prized possessions. don't become a slave to your materialistic stuff. My nice and new cars stay at home while I have been traveling in my build worth 10k. If somebody puts a ding in it, or I, I do not care. Free your mind!
that "food" sounds gross ... made my stomach want to up-chuck
For all the money and time you put in that van its still looks unfinished. You need to get a girlfriend to help you decorate that van.
this was awesome! highly suggest you check out mad river outfitters for fishing content - game changer
Video was cool, thanks for the adventure guide 🚐❤️
Man I have seen you do so many awesome things, paying $20 for Ramen is definitely not one of them😳
