The Female was a Sister of Battle a member of the Adeptus Sororitas, the militant arm of the Ecclisiarchy. They are considered by many to be the most devout followers of the religion based on worshiping the emperor. The thing is…the Sisters devotion is sometimes rewarded with miracles (like her hand healing in the trailer). Astartes are so rare and so highly regarded that “normal” people do actually consider them to be angels in the flesh. In the 40k universe believing in something in large enough numbers (like the orks) makes things come true. So if enough people believe the Emperor is a god then he can be a god. The Eldar civilization for example became so jaded in ancient times because of their power and technology that they sought hedonistic excess and murder to entertain themselves and essentially caused an evil god to burst into existence (Slaanesh) and tore a hole into the fabric of the material Galaxy, the Eye of Terror. Two more examples of how powerful belief is in 40k. Orks believe that a regular human named Yarrik is a very powerful warrior with a huge mechanical ork claw that shoots lasers out of his eyes. Ork technology doesn’t work for humans normally (because from a logical engineering perspective they shouldn’t work) but for Yarrik his Ork power claw does work because the Orks believe it does. Orks also believe that any vehicle painted red will move faster…so red vehicles do go faster.
Preachy and self righteous is the core of the entire Imperium, and the Sisters of Battle are the most preachy and self righteous of all, their faith in the Emperor is so strong they can perform literal miracles
I agree with your assessment. You'd only cheer for the Adeptus Sororitas if you also believe that the Spanish Inquisition was an awesome period in human history.

It makes sense that you called the woman preachy. She is a Sister of Battle and they are VERY religious and devoted to the God-Emperor. They are actually the army of the church in the Imperium and they love burning heretics.
Your commentary is spot on I think. If Marines (Astartes) are the warrior monks, Sisters of Battle are the nuns with guns. Lol and YES, they sisters are very self-righteous, that's their whole thing. They are literally the soldiers of the their church
Sisters of Battle or Adepta Sororitas, are litteraly Nuns with guns. THey are Faithfull beyond...Belief, their Faith is strong enough that they can conjure small miracles from the Emperor himself, thats how she healed herself from the Alien weaponry effects. Sistas are knowed for their Faith and miracles they performs, even on the table top, it is one of their mechanics, where each turns they can conjure one special effect through their devotion and faith. They have a long line of Martyrs and Saints, that gives Hope to Humanity's citizens or Dread and despair to their enemies.

😂 yeah we started with Discover Hope and then quickly lost that hope
Yay more 40k.
Also a suggestion: GUARDSMAN - 2018.
On our list to check out 🥳
I heard the Emperor's name and came as quick as I could!
😁
Let's goo more people doing 40k, welcome
😈🥳😁
The imperium of man is like if the crusades and the Spanish inquisition had a baby and then spoiled it with near limitless power
Yet still we stand, the last bulwark against the terror.
AND. WHILE. WE. DRAW. BREATH. WE. WILL. FIGHT.
chills, everytime.
usually the guy with no helmet gets given the best armour the God-Emperor could provide to counter the lack of headgear - Plot armour. Usually the guys with no helmets are the heroes or plot important characters.
😎👍🙂
4:14 They are my Space Marines and they shall know no fear.
*--The Emperor of Mankind.*
They are kinda bred to be fearless.
😎🤟
There are no good guys in 40k... except the Orks.... They're just having the most awesome time ever.
Which is why they are our favorite. Not because they are good but because they are fun 😂
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames As Bricky says.... you'll never meet a salty Ork player because they are such a coin flip... or dice roll in this case... Doesn't matter to Orks as long as they get to duff sumphin up.
Yesssss finally! been waiting for you guys react to this one :D
😁🥳
Our Imperium is besieged. Across a thousand worlds we fight for our survival. Those that would tear Humanity down are legion. Our forces are few, our enemies many. There is no respite. There is no mercy. And in our darkest hour, a spiteful universe awakens forgotten evils to break us. The galaxy burns. Yet still we stand, the last bulwark against the terror. And while we draw breath, we will fight. For in this new, dark age. There is only war.
-Primaris Sergeant Castus of the Ultramarines
Yea Sisters of Battle go hard in the paint for their faith in the Emperor
"Preachy and self righteous" yep... sounds like a sister of battle AKA Nuns with guns. Still one of my favorite armies though.
😎🤟
Pray the pain away, faith in 40k is a powerful force because of the warp manifesting it
😎👍😃
You guys will love Helsreach.
Heard it’s a great one to check out 😈
Clearly the trailer got its point across!
Yup 😮😈🤗
Love that trailer so much, pure 40k grit.
😎🤟😈
Now you need to watch the google translate version of this trailer. It's a riot.
😂 do that for most vids? Heard about those for Team Fortress 2 as well 🤗
Sister, Ultra Marine...but against the Necrons? Yeah it's just about the weight of bodies, think human waves from Korea, against the Necrons
Love seeing you guys react to 40k cant wait to see more from you guys, congratulations on your growth.
Side note, I play all 3 factions in the trailer. All are really fun in their own way, but Space Marines are whats hot right now. No matter the chapter 👍
😎🤟😃
It seems to me Space Marines are always what's hot😁. Granted, they are pretty much the face/mascot of 40k, so... I still feel it should be Da Orks!
The Emperor Protects !
😇😈
"They shall be my finest warriors, these men who give themselves to me. Like clay I shall mold them and in the furnace of war forge them. They shall be of iron will and steely muscle. In great armor shall I clad them, and with the mightiest guns will they be armed. They will be untouched by plague or disease. No sickness will blight them. They are my bulwark against the terror. They are the defenders of humanity. They are my space marines, and they shall know no fear."
-The Emperor of Mankind.
😎🤟
Because of how the warp works, the emperor IS a god now.
She is a sister of battle... A warrior nun. So preachy and self righteous is EXACTLY what she should be
Can you guys do another for honor execution video?! Love y’all!
We of course will 😁
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames yes!! Looking forward to it can’t wait
Can't wait to see more from you guys. I am really really looking forward to you guys seeing bricky's videos.
We heard those are great 😃
The Female was a Sister of Battle a member of the Adeptus Sororitas, the militant arm of the Ecclisiarchy.
Humans believe that too it seems because red cars tend to get pulled over more for speeding 😂🙃
They are my bulwark against the Terror, they are my space marines and they shall know no fear
-The God Emperor of Mankind
😎🤟
Imperium hate the mutants but the Astartes are basically hyper mutants.
Oh no! Inquisition is knocking my door
They are constantly knocking on our door 😂
Preachy and self righteous is the core of the entire Imperium, and the Sisters of Battle are the most preachy and self righteous of all, their faith in the Emperor is so strong they can perform literal miracles
You could see her physically react to Mr.Deepvoice lol
🤗
I agree with your assessment. You'd only cheer for the Adeptus Sororitas if you also believe that the Spanish Inquisition was an awesome period in human history.
Right? 😂🤗
I was going to ask to watch this
😊
I love seeing you two react to Warhammer 40k Stuff! Hope to see some more in the future, keep rocking!
EDIT:
PS: I truly hope you still have Death Korps of Krieg(Sodaz) In your backlog :D
We do 😁
You guys should take a look at Warhammer 40k songs by Stringstorm.
That’s a new 40k suggestion 😃
Next week Bethany is no where to be found taken by the Inquisition.
Haha, no next week her heresy grows when we react to Imperium of Man 😈
Aaaaand the whole comments section is filled with Brickys' quotes. Exactly what we'd like to see
😂😁
Check out One Mind Syndicate too. Fantastic source for lore. 2nd only to Luetin if you ask me.
Oh wow, nice. That’s one we hadn’t been recommended before 😃
The Night lords video by Baldermort is great but it's also Night lords so...you know...disclaimer not for the faint of heart I guess 😅, his Dark Angels video is also great.
😂 thanks for disclaimer. Sometimes our hearts are faint 🤗🙈
The Sisters of Battle: Nuns with Guns
Love that name for them 😎🤟 And their tank organs 😁
Sister of battle- they are the religious army.
Adeptus astartes are the angels of death, Made by the emperor.
i liked the difference betweeen the two and their lines.
Also Boldermort is amazing. truly.
Can recomend "if the emperor had a text to speach device" its a parody of warhamer 30K / 40k but truly an amazing series that got alot of ppl into warhammer and the lore.
We were told to check our emperors tts after getting some more knowledge so we can get the jokes 🤗
If you ask me, The Necrons are based on the Terminators. The girls are the Sisters of Battle. According to decree, the Church can not have Men under arms. There is nothing said about Women under Arms
Nice work around 😁😇
You guys should definitely check out all the operator trailers for Rainbow Six Siege, it’s a tactical fps and their trailers are really cool!
Plan to check those out 😁
It makes sense that you called the woman preachy. She is a Sister of Battle and they are VERY religious and devoted to the God-Emperor. They are actually the army of the church in the Imperium and they love burning heretics.
They look like they love burning heretics 😂
Your commentary is spot on I think. If Marines (Astartes) are the warrior monks, Sisters of Battle are the nuns with guns. Lol and YES, they sisters are very self-righteous, that's their whole thing. They are literally the soldiers of the their church
😎👍😃
We actually saw another nuns with guns incident in a trailer that we have coming up next week for a different franchise 😂 But good to know the Sisters are the original nuns with guns 😁
