- Got this amp in from Alphard... which is a Russian company... but made in Korea... This is the Alphard Deaf Bonce 2000.1D, it's rated to put out 2200W RMS @ 1 ohm and is currently on the market for $469 (Now called the Apocalypse series), Alphard is known from making some BAD ASS Subwoofers... but how about their amps? In this video we will unbox the DB2000.1D and strap it up to our trusty amp dyno and see just how much power she has in her.

We love these amps. The current model is called the aak2000. We have been running one daily wired at 0.3 for 6 months now with no issues, (electrical is a ho alt, and a single northstar smsagm80 as the battery bank) and has not protected a single time. We were running another brand of the same/ similar korean board prior and it would not play at 0.3 at all if you tried to turn up the volume, just protected. And yes the quality of sound these produce is pretty tough to beat! Great video
The bass knob on these are amazing. Been debating one of the apocalypse 12k's. If them undertakers ever come out lol
@@ROTTBOXX haha yea we will be fully setup to build for the public in the beginning to mid December is our anticipated time frame. At that time we will be fully ready for this new expansion to our company. We really hoped to be ready by July but its just one of those things that cannot be rushed. We are very excited and the end results is well worth the extra time spent.
@@ROTTBOXX we also have 3 local guys running the aak12000s wired from 0.25 to 0.5 in daily setups and man they have been some badass amps. Not a single issue with any of them. Thats one thing I notice about the AAK vs other korean amps we have sold in the passed, the reliability has been awesome.
@@gpcaraudio yea no doubt. I have no doubt they'll be amazing. I have yet to be even slightly disappointed by anything from you guys.
@@gpcaraudio I tried to get my buddy to pick one up but he just ordered an ampere 9k for his Tahoe that should be here Thursday. So looks like it's on me to try one. Gotta sell off some of my equipment before I buy any more stuff or the wife may kill me...
I love when guys fight about which brand is best when most of the amplifiers come out of the same build house
The Chevy Malibu and Chevy Corvette are the same factory also lol. Internals matter, not the builder to a certain extent. As long as you have Samwa, nichicon, etc as the internals you'll be alright.
Well not all amps use the same mosfets so there are differences just not enough to over pay for watts. Audiopipe is my go to amp, .5ohm stable.
@@DibeezyTheGifted Actually the Chevrolet Malibu is built at the Fairfax Assembly Plant, in Kansas City, Ks. And the Chevrolet Corvette is built at the Bowling Green, Kentucky Plant.
Dibeezy ThaGifted FYI Corvettes have their own dedicated assembly plant in Bowling Green, KY. No Malibu's assembled there.
Internals matter but the PCB is fundamentally the same for everybody. The difference comes by way of how the components are specced in terms of the power supply and output section (85C vs 105C capacitors, slightly lower or higher current FETs, etc...). Every amp in each of Zenon's class will probably be ±100W of one another except for the occasional factory freak.
As i’m watching i’m hoping you plug that knob it to compare its clipping indicator to the dyno🤓
Glade to see you’re testing some quality amplifiers and not just the typical all Chinese crap everyone else is putting out. I believe you too when you say this amplifier sounds better than your Orion because I’ve done my own AB amp testing with my own power supply after carefully level matching to within .1 db and there is a difference in SQ between good and not so good amps. Keep up the good work Ryan and let’s get some more quality amps on the dyno.
HELL YES, I’ve been waiting for this one!! I knew this amp wouldn’t disappoint!!
Picked up an AAK-4000.1d the day this video dropped... WOW!! I have the Wolfram W-4500.1 and XTR 2500.1dz ( both Korean Zennon) and this S&I amp is better. Running on a Zv5 15 dual 1@.5. The temperature feature is great. The clip limiter alone makes this amp stand above 80% of Zennon products imo. Hit a 147@36 hz last night. Not bad at all
Dibeezy ThaGifted hey bro I'm waiting for thanks giving or Christmas to buy the AAK 20,000.1D. It'll push a single nightshade 18inch. Amp is very awesome. You'll get a solid 10k watts rated @12v. Or 12k watts @14.4V or 16,000 watts @16V. The higher the voltage the more you'll get. It'll go as high as 18 V 😂. They have the AAK12,000.1D amp as well for $2,200 but the 20k amp goes for $2,500 might as well get the 20k for an extra $300 difference. It's as if the company is begging you to buy that amp. No joke. And GP audio has the best deal so far.
@@JoseFlores-fm2vc that is an insane price jump lol 2k on one amp tho I've spent 496 on my most expensive one... id get a 10k or 15k but i do not have the alt to handle it and my car is new enough that its hard to find
Exodia hey bud. I got the amplifier. Hit me up on my ig I can send you pictures of it. It’s awesome :). Ig is OGBOFIO
@@JoseFlores-fm2vc you got the 20k?? god damn im gonna folllow u rn i wanna see some car flex lmaooo
Great video as always. Amp looks to be built very nicely
They’ve got some nice features on this amp including the cool bass knob. I’d like to see that clip button in action... great Dyno as always
I'm very impressed with this amp. I was thinking about getting the 7500 but now I'm sold. Thanks for testing 😍
love your videos and keep up the good work bro
Remote out is a nice feature to have. I really like when they understand there is alot of people who run multi amps.
Awesome thanks I've been dying to see how these things do
AWESOME VIDEO AS ALWAYS BROTHER
Great video keep bringing that bass.
I can tell it's going to do well by the enthusiasm in your voice Ryan. Lol
@@bigblank69 oh no kidding that's cool. Truck as is type of sale I take It? You went from the xtr2500.1dz a while back to selling it but I don't remeber if you mentioned what amp you used after selling your Orion until now. Did you use anything else besides the deaf bonce since?
Just a thought but it'd be neat to see you test the clipping indicator against the amp dyno. I've often wondered about the veracity of onboard clip lights and clip lights on remotes and no-one ever seems to test it. It gets mentioned as a nicety and then ignored. My thought is, how great of an extra is it if it's inaccurate?
same bro but trust they are accurate i think sundown did a vid on theres and its pretty accurate
Hey Ryan can you test a Pure Audio amp 3000.1 hear it's good want to see what you think
Another fantastic video.. one more win..
I keep getting impressed by alphard audio products.
Wait till you see the big 4 Channel I tested....
+Budget Gem or Budget Bust is it the aak-200.4d? I just bought this to replace my pioneer 8604 love it, lots of 4ohm power
Not bad at all to be a amplifier from Russia good video Ryan like always
That is nice! For the price. The remote out is a great idea. The remote on my first head unit was blown by connecting amps. It was only rated for 100 ma. Or so. Like less than 1/8 of an amp. That is nothing... I been thinking of jumping I'm to the alphard products. Maybe the sport of supersport subs. Maybe 4 12" on this amp. It would be a bit under power. But plenty. Great video...
Awesome amp. Hit its rated. Price per watt is high compared to others. Bass knob is fantastic. Hope more companies start using the same style knob.
id like to see a test with the clip limiter on to see what the power out put would be the same or not ?
It resembles an old-school amp but with modern features and capability. I dig it! Not as much of a fan of the price point though. Good review Ryan!
Can’t wait to see the video for the blade series amp by massive audio! Which amp is that? I run massive audio and even though in the past the amps didn’t make the power they were great amps and sounded great!
Cool knob, volts, temp, and clipometer!
Have you checked out the Deaf Bonce Machete ma-2000.1d yet? Curious to what it will do.
I like that bass knob.
Always nice to c amp dynos over 2k do u know what amp house makes orion amps the hcca line up
What's up Ryan you make great videos and I would like to know of you can do a dyno test on an 02 element amp
Awesome..now try the budjet line Machete Series.. Nice video Ryan!
There is more to an amp than just output wattage. This is more expensive than others in its class for a reason. Mainly it seems to be built very well. Tiffany RCA's are the first clue. Then the appropriate sized power & ground lugs. Clipping indicator is a very nice add-on
The limiter is a nice feature that might save a user some $$$ in damaged equipment costs.
Very well thought out amp. Definitely worth a few more dollars over the average 2200 watt Chinese equivalent.
Good job Ryan!
couldn't be a better video to watch to test out my fresh install of win7 ultimate.... so so so glad to finally here my sound
nice video.......will you ever do any Taramps Amps?
Would love to see the CT Sounds Team 3000.1🤔
Great video 👍👍👍👍👍 you should of hooked up the bass knob/volt meter and demonstrated the features it has
aak-200.4d test please.. I'm dying to see if it performs just as well as the sundown 200.4 and skar 200.4
That is a sweet amp! What do you think about the Russian Pride series amps and subs and also the Brazilian Taramps?
Test the new crescendo s1 amplifier. I’m curious if those little amps are actually capable of 1500 watts!!
That is a beast of an amp
I'm interested in the 4k!
I have one of these subwoofers Skar ZVX-12V2, I plan on running. My thing is I have this same exact amp in the video and an Orion XTR 2500.2. I'm trying to decide which one of these beast will give me the best sound and cleanest power to run the sub efficiently.
Thanks for the reply I appreciate it great channel
Could you do a .5 ohm load
What do you do with all these amps you get do you give giveaways or what
Great video
Wish you and big d would keep an accessible ss with watts/$. Love yalls vids!
Hey Ryan hey Ryan hey Ryan....any plans to test an mb quart for the budget series? I’m curious to see what numbers they are putting up these days supposed to have had a recent quality control revamp
Good stuff!
Can you please dyno a massive bp4000.1?! I'd live to see what it does
i need urgent advice, between this db2000.1 VS. orion xtr2500.1d. which is the best option for bass(sundown x10) ?
What's the song you are playing during the dyno test?
Is this anything close to the m2000D?
For some reason your videos remind me of tim Allen’s tool time 😂😂😂😂😂
Very impressive.
Nice video
I'm going to get one
Not the greatest watt per dollar value but I do really dig that bass knob with all the extra bells and whistles and I love the fact that it has a clip limiter. It's pretty common to see clip limiters on pro audio stuff but I was really surprised to see it on this car audio amp. More companies should off features like this amp has.
They box it twice cause when 1st opening it's Sooo climactic 🙉🤯💕
Free wattage! Exceeded rated! Nice!!
My thoughts on this DeathBounce is that @ 12:30 you totally farted lol- & the amp did great!
Awesome!.. heya, could plssss test Avatar ATU-2000.1D and or the Avatar STU 3500.1D
3500 please
Great video!! Russian amp via Korea lol. What’s your thought on the Build house approach booming in car audio right now. Being only 31, I didn’t get into car audio back when brands claimed to be 100% made in The U.S. But Ive been thinking about buying and supporting only companies that are not relying in anyway shape or form on somewhere else besides the U.S. to make and sell their product. Call me crazy, but I know there’s got to be someone out there who still believes in the American dream of building your own company that employees only Americans that work to support their families and in turn helps bring back the values of American made products ,with quality being number one , over convenience or price. Sorry to rant on, but I wouldn’t mind spending more to buy something like that. Are there any car audio companies like that around still, that don’t rely on another country shipping something in that’s not made here in the U.S. ? I still can’t find enough research on it. Anyways, awesome video, I love your channel. I’ll be waiting for the next video to drop. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
This take a .5ohm load ?
Can you look at the gravity audio wz8000.1 Amazon has it for 350ish. I couldn't find info on what it does rms
probably does around 2000w at best
I thought you were running the brutal sounds bs2.1 in your daily how would you compare the two
Even with the bs2.1 haveing crazy efficiency you would still prefer the alphard because of the clip limt switch ?
Hey Ryan... Do you prefer this over the Brutal Sounds amp??
Did you sell the Brutal Sounds yet??
Would be nice if you could do the AAK4k
God I look thro the comments and just see so many people hating and complaining. Some people like some things that other people dont. Get over it and move on. Great vid Ryan.
Thinking about pulling the trigger on the aak-4000.1d I've wanted it for a while now, and it's on preorder sale for $692, I believe it's the best amp for the price for the watts it offers, I don't think u can get anything even close for under $700 for the quality. And the bass knob is sweet
I just bought a deaf bonce 4k today along with a deaf bonce sa312 d1, now it matches my 200.4 and my sub.. I'll be running it .5ohm beating down the street.. I love love that hard hard punch in the chest and throat
Google translate or one of the many apps that you can take a picture of to fill out the warranty card
I Have A Pair Of 12 Inch Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1 SVC Subs From The Mid 90s And They Are Rated From 750 RMS Watts Each Up To 1400 Watts Max And I Want To Run Them In A Custom Built Sealed Enclosure. I've Owned This Pair Of Subs For A Little Over 20 Years And I Have Kept Them Put Away The Entire Time And I Wanted To Know What Would Be A Good Amp To Run On Them?
Still waiting for the 5 channel Soundstream. I've heard it makes a lot of power but what do they mean by a lot of power? I have one sitting new in box waiting to be installed.
How did the amp work out? 🤷
@@markfrank5937 Still haven't installed it. Sitting new in my garage.
@@stevenyoung3360 appreciate letting me know. ✌
Ok I understand down grading the power , especially when you can’t utilize it 👍🏻
I think that's one of the most efficient amplifiers I've ever seen. Let me know if there's others like that or closed on efficiency
Have you checked out the Brutal Sounds bs2.1?
I just got an aak-200.4d and ditched my pioneer 8604, man the 200.4 is nice, has all the crossover adjustments you need to run active, and it works as a bandpass.. not many videos or any information on it really, all the videos are in Russian lol
I'm pretty sure it meets all its ratings though.. one thing I didn't like was the amp guts, couple wires looked pretty flimsy and poorly mounted.. dyno video would be nice tho.. has clipping light only.. voltage would have been a nice touch..
If you really need current for remote turn on's, the best way would be to use a relay that only requires a minimal turn-on current and just use a direct "fused" battery connection to supply the power through the relay's switching circuit! I have never really liked using a radio turn-on supply for amplifiers, I always just look for an extra unused output in the fuse box that is switched, which are usually there for other accessories that a vehicle could be equipped with!
hey ryan which would you prefer, this amp of the dd audio m2c
This one.... though they both designed and built built by S&I
@@bigblank69 thank you ryan
You replaced an amp that will do 6 k with an amp that does maybe 3 k , what kind of subs are you running, type of box , just curious, you said it sounds better ?
That Orion doesn't do anywhere near 6K LOL. I clamped 2200 on mine with two group 31 AGM and a Mechman 270 in my Maxima. Impedance rise son. plus you can't wire the XTR down you be playing with absolute fire if you do mine protected 20-30 * wired at 1 ohm. Las Vegas heat tho
Hey can you test the CAB 2000.1!!!!!!
BigD tested that amp already so it's not currently on my radar.
The feature set alone on this amp makes it worth the price. I wouldn't buy this online, though. I'd make sure i went through a shop for warranty return issues, if any.
nice amp
Damn nice bass knob
@ 6:11. That is the reason why I sold my Korean made amplifiers and bought Brazilian instead.
Brazilian amplifiers are three times lighter and I don’t want a brick in my daily driver considering also the weight of the speakers which I want to convert to Neo versions in the near future.
Your nuts if you think a few ounces is going to make a difference. Brazilian amps are trash. Fire starters. Tiny ass heatsinks also. Pass
Dibeezy ThaGifted
You’re nuts for being ignorant. There are various brands of Brazilian amplifiers and I have two of them which I’ve owned for more than four years with absolutely no problems. And they are way lighter than Korean bricks. Not a few ounces. If they do cause fire its due to user error. But I will tell you this, I only use the Brazilian amplifiers for midbass and midrange frequencies. I prefer Korean boards for subsonic frequencies and a high-quality American made board for the very high tweeter frequencies.
And I do know there are lots of other countries like Italy that make a very high-quality class AB amplifiers for vocals and tweeters. Please do your research before bashing on a product.
Just my opinion and what I've found upon research
Fire hazard ,seriously 😳
@@charliefrancis6438 you haven't seen the videos of the roasted ass demo vehicles in Brazil?
I was like damn its been a while since I've seen a gem or bust video. I clicked refresh I was like YES. LOL.. Plus first comment bonus!
Damn Casey beat me, lol. Anyways Ryan, nice vid, got the Wolfgram C2400.1 coming in hopefully this week, I ordered it after I saw the prototype video, hopefully you get a production model to test to verify that it performs the same as the prototype/preproduction model.
@@alexanderruiz3 took me a month after customs in California held Wolfram shipment from Korea. I was supposed to get my ano July 31st I didn't get it until the end of August.
Hope you do a giveaway on this! I need this amp
Sorry no giveaway on this one
@@bigblank69 Which amp had better sound quality, this or the synergy wfo2.1? I actually have a wfo2.1 and I want to get the aak4000 but I want better sound quality as well
I can't wait to get one of their apocalypse amplifiers they're just so fucking good it's nuts I'm going to end up with the four channel use two channels for my doors and bridge two for my subwoofer now I kind of wish I didn't get my Wolfram amplifier even though it's really pretty in that white. But for $50 more than I paid for that amplifier I could have got an apocalypse with 2,900 watts. Not that I'm pushing anything more than $1,500 in any my daily drivers
Would like to see some avatar amps dyno if possible
With the new terrifs get it before next year when the prices are bound to go up like gasoline is
Mighty sexy amplifier right there
Daisy chaining amps together does NOT stress your head unit! Barevids tested a typical relay power draw compared to 8 amps in series and the relay drew more than twice as much power to switch it! Amps need almost nothing to turn on.
Hey Ryan I have recently purchased a massive audio 1500.4 blade series 4 channel amp which I got for a great price. Would you be intrested in it for your budget gem test? If so I would like to send it to you. Thanks let me know your thoughts.
@@bigblank69 ok thanks an good luck on the move😊
looking forward to that dyno!
Would love to see this dyno as I'm running the b1500.4 to 4 massive p65x
Dude that’s a Val rebranded .a 1k to be exact.🤔without the clip button.
Why when you run it at 1 on certified the voltage is 15 something why don't you run it on the Standard 12 volt
Because the amp is rated at 14.4... and I don't have an alternator in my house... if I ran this on batteries starting ar 12.6v the voltage would near 10 -11v
Looks really similar to a DC audio 2.0k
Looks like an old school audio art 100 HC amp
The amps can be run at 01.
it looks similar to sundown audio amp
I heard that Donald Trump colluded with Putin to create this amp.
Eric Brunhammer it’s called Trump Bump
He wanted a dope install in the trunk of the limo!
Hilarious! 😆
Thats a gem that's been shoved up people asses too much. It's looks like a cresendo bc2000 and or dc 2k. Now I'll be telling people that all three of these companies are using the same boards. I'd say this is the best quality one of the bunch but margainaly the additional 150watts could be negligable or it might actually have better quality components. But you did also have higher voltage than the cresendo tests ive seen so I'll say the extra powers from the 15+ volts you gave it. I'm not an amp guy but all the cases are the same, the prices are similar, comes from the same Korean build house, and if you can find a bc2000 board and or dc 2k board I'd bet they'd be the same as this amps board. End of story and hype please do better research, please everyone.
They are ever so slightly different though. This could be due to upgraded model revisions and outdated pics but they are still very similar boards
All excellent boards if you ask me
Beefy and thick.... That's what Vladamir Putin said when he was bumping to this amp while riding a bear with his shirt off....
