I think it's not about Majority or minority but rather it's about the collective approach of society. Societies with natural religions ( like animism/ paganism/ indic religions etc.)tend to be more accomodative & tolerant to outsiders. While abrahamic religions are organised entities and tend to be more like political groupings rather than spiritual paths. So, they tend to be intolerant to any outside idea/ outside people. Islam is especially problematic because it tends to destroy native culture ( of course along with native systems of worship) and replace the original culture of land with some sort of violent primitive tribal culture and irrational ideology.

I live in Hyderabad, India, i face the same situation... I live in Muslim majority area.. outsiders call my area mini Pakistan, here We can't make rangoli in front of our house, whenever we do ... Our Muslim neighbours through water to wash it out. We can't even say anything to them because.. ours is the only hindu house here. There used to be 4 hindu houses but all of them shifted. Even small kinds are filled with hatred. I saw small kids kicking "bobbemma" a small pyramid shaped thing made of cow dung that we put on our rangoli during the sankranti festival (telugu ppl will understand). Worst of all is when milad un nabi comes ... They deliberately put speakers to harass us.
During night shifts my cab driver fears to drop me cz of safety . Educated ms also think like they are in 7th century, a railway employee in my area stopped her daughter's education after her 7th standard and got her engaged with a guy who is much older than her... From then i haven't even seen her. never allows their ladies to come out of their homes. Sometimes i feel sad for them, they are living their lives like zoo animals. India was partitioned on the basis of religion ( Islam) based upon the Pan -Islamist philosophy " Najariya e Pakistan or Two nation theory" whose origin date back to founding father of AMU Sir Syed Ahmed Khan. It was popularised in muslim masses of them British India by Allama Muhammad Iqbal & finally carved out by Muhammad Ali Jinnah with overwhelming triumph in 1946 provincial election Where Muslim league was able to win 429 seats out of 492 seats ( more than 87%) from both Muslim majority ( Now Pakistan & Bangladesh) & muslim minority province (modern day India) on the basis communal separate electorate system where where only muslim can contest elections again each other & only they can be representative of muslims, not any other infidel. Pan - Islamist Muslim league's candidate was contesting elections on the crystal clear vision to partition India & ceate a homeland for Indian muslim in form of separate Islamic republic while Muslim representative of Congress were contesting the election for United India. To save India from being partitioned Gandhi proposed Jinnah as Independent India 's first prime minister which he rejected. At that time Maulana Azad was elected as Congress' president in order to convince then Indian muslim masses to vote for United India & not separate holy muslim land 'Pakistan' at least in muslim minority constituency of British India ( all province except Punjab,NWFP, Bengal,Sind) which were United province, Central Province, Assam, Bombay, Orissa, Madras ,Bihar & still remains in modern India .Let us see election results here respectively 54 out of 66, 13 out of 14, 31 out of 34, 30 out 30, 4 out of 4 , 29 out of 29 & 34 out 40. So clearly apart from muslim majority province, muslim minority in non -muslim majority province also single handly voted for separate Islamic land Pakistan & further partition of India. But still Indian Nationalist leadership lead by Nehru decided to safeguard each & everything related to them & his decision was assisted by then Hindu majority society.Muslim first of all partitioned Bengal on the basis of Religion, demanded separate electorate on communal basis, separate country for their interest & safeguard themselves from evil Hindu infidel pagan majority. Finally even after partition & Pakistan muslim got separate Islamic autonomy through articles 35 A & 370 , Muslim personal law board on communal basis, waff board on communal basis. In addition to that got " cultural & educational rights" apart from eqal right - right to freedom of religion. In independent India muslim majority Kashmir massacred kashmiri Hindu & forced them to leave them on communal basis. Still in Hindu majority muslim because President,Vice president,Cheif minister,Home minister, Air force cheif,Super star in various India cinema industry, music industry,Top cricketer, boxer etc. Still muslims are persecuted in India because India & its Hindu majority is world's most Islamophobic society & muslim are oppressed & peaceful minority.

No Dis-Respect to that person and He might be the eldest one and therefore people tolerate Him on that. But IMO they are disrespecting this Holy part of every prayer. Just a fact: Parsi migrated from Iran to modern-day India and Pakistan. Regarding minority rights, these self-claimed righteous "MUSLIM" people have forgotten that in the Era of Khulfa-e-Rashidin and Abbasid and Ummayed rule, many other faith people were living harmoniously. The rule is simple: You pay taxes, and the state is responsible for providing you with all the basics, including your worship places. In Europe, Muslims are the minority, but still, they get "HALAL" food, prayer areas, and freedom to dress.... oh but I forgot, according to those righteous people, Europeans are "KAAFIR". Ar humain tu Akhrit ke fikar krni chahiay bahi

    • @doraemonpoint9154

A typical Pakistani mindset. The minorities also pay taxes in Pakistan and what they get in return, literally nothing. They are begging the rights and we are still stuck here in this. The era of Khulfa-e-Rashidin in which people are living harmoniously because the rule was simple ‘You pay taxes, and the state will provide you the rights’. In Pakistan, minorities pay tax and we destroy their worship places. They aren’t begging, they are demanding the rights. Fun fact: The Pakistani government is unable to utilise the total budget that is allocated for the welfare of minorities. I forgot, these are not people, these are ‘KAAFIR’
