Could anyone have taken Jim Thome?
I Think Undertaker Would've Whooped His Ass Since Taker Is 6"10 Ha

I can't imagine the stories and experiences he had. Big Leaguers playing 20 years must see everything
i was watching the game against the Mets when Chip hit his first big league homer, still got the letter from Chip when he invited me to become a member of his fan club when i was like 11 lol! and i was at Game 6 in '95 at the ole Fulton County Stadium! wow! that experience, 58,000 plus erupting when Griss caught that final out! miss those old Braves days!
Klesko is the secret star of this story, as a Braves fan. Dude used to swing out of his shoes, and had crazy eyes; I can totally see him starting this.
He was in Macon Ga before Richmond and Chipper was the talk of the town. We were thirty minutes away. We knew he was gonna be good, but I didn’t know he was gonna be that great, HoF great.
I installed the HVAC systems in the Virginia College in Macon. I lived there for weeks on end. Maybe I was on the wrong side of town , but that was the worst place I ever spent time in.
Chipper sure was the talk of the town when he was with the Macon Braves, but what else are we going to talk about in Middle Georgia? I also didn't think he would be "HoF great" based on minor league performance, but he really upped his game as an infielder and switch hitter over the years.
That is a great story…. Ole Chip can weave a yarn…
I think Dave Eiland was Costner’s double
Him and Ken Griffy Jr are my to faves. Greg Maddux is my favorite all time pitcher
Maddux is sort of like Tom Brady. Not really big or super athletic. But they just get it done. Everyone talks about Gregg's change up, but he had as good of curve ball as anyone. Also his fielding. He was a ground ball pitcher but he also struck out a lot people.
Grew up 10 minutes from Parker Field, you go to TJ, Maggie Walker, Marshall, Benedictine?
It would appear so 😂 love you chip
I forgot about Sam horn that guy was huge
Bad idea fighting Jim Thome.
He's LARGE
@@onenightinbangkok7626chipper may not be a small guy but i sure as hell don't see him whipping manny and thome
No fuqing way
I miss the Richmond Braves!
Larry Wayne Jones could not carry Mr. Thome's jock strap in ANY point of his media-hyped career!
I have 2 800 count boxes of Chipper Jones rookies. The score and the upper deck. I will be sending them to Chipper, sure hope he signs them and sends them back.
How did that go?
@@CSC52698 I got them all back in the mail. boxes beaten to hell, cards all dinged up, and no autographs.🥵
i thought charlotte was the white sox AAA team not the Indians?
This was before 1995 when Chipper was a rookie. Charlotte Knights were an Indians AAA team mid-90s.
NO ! Especially a broken-down ex-doorman.
