Thankfully the Twitch copyright tweet was a joke, copying a similar incident that Shazam accidentally picked up the noises of a blender as Skrillex. Doesn't deter the fact that Twitch did actually allow the music industry to screw every twitch streamer up with their DMCA abuse.
Honestly I didn't put it past them. I am half surprised that people haven't tried to exploit the automated DMCAs by using random stuff for music and just striking thousands of channels in an attempt at protest. Basically show how abusable the whole situation is.

This is because it avoids having to deal with the aspect ratio. But a lot of pictures I've seen showing the size usually have an arrow diagonally across with the size written on it. The whole screen is empty space anyway. So I'm not sure how people wouldn't get how to measure it by just seeing these everywhere, if you're buying a TV.

I thought most of what they said was actually true though? It does decrease the ammount of oxygen you get, and it can grow stuff in it if you dont ever wash it, though its still worth it to wear it by a long run
@@pungetello yeah you get less oxygen trough.. but most people wear the throwaway kind anyways.. the only thing i've heard that really can be an issue is the fact some people get acne from the masks due to the heat buildup and sweat underneath.
@@pungetello not really. A mask is basically a filter you can wear. Air can come through but spit particles are too big. The thing about stuff growing if you don't clean it are true but that's why you throw it away or clean it

I'm actually REALLY invested in the monolith even though I've only just heard about it because my dad and his siblings have a theory that his childhood neighbor is the one who made the monolith, put the monolith in the desert and then removed it once people discovered it.
Guy has the resources, know-how, love for the outdoors and love of 2001 A Space Odyssey.
Dad + siblings got the "suspect's" brother in on the theory and the brother asked him and he "confirmed" it, but my dad + siblings aren't sure if the "suspect" was joking or not.

So im a freshman and im good friends with the 8th graders. Today a good friend of mine was beat up, like blood splattered everywhere. His grandpa just passed away and his parents are completely useless drug addicts. So far the school has no idea who did it, and he's in bad shape. He has a fractured skull, a broken nose, and an air bubble, he was in the upstairs bathroom in 6th hour. The school claims they cant check the cameras. The kid was going to the nurses office and had to walk down the stair and he fell. The kid has mental problems and now with all this. I fucking hate students who are so petty that they have to pick on someone whos already suffering from a lot. (I just had to get this off my chest)

When you measure the diagonal across a rectangle, you're dividing it into two right triangles that share a hypotenuse. It's basic geometry.

For some context, we were both about 13 or 14 at the time, and were talking about our favorite books and authors. Rick Riordan came up, and it somehow led the conversation to the revelation that this girl was a homophobe. How is this in any way related to the Fall of the Roman Empire you ask? Well after this particular fact came about, an awkward silence settled between the two of us, and thankfully the lunch bell rang. As I frantically grabbed my book-bag and lunch to gtfo of there this mmmm-I'm not gonna say it- girl felt the need to inform me that "You know the Roman Empire fell after/because it started accepting people like that." I was already uncomfortable af so I mumbled an awkward "ok" and hauled butt outta the cafeteria, without calling her out on that absolute bs (I probably wasn't going to anyway, but my main point is it ticked me off). It continued to nag me for the rest of the school year, so much so that one night, months after this had taken place, I google searched the Fall of the Roman Empire, and not one single valid, credible source stated that the Roman Empire fell due to accepting LGBTQ+ people. I'm almost certain that she has forgotten about this incident, but I really lost a lot of respect for her, and this moment in the video just hit me like a brick with this memory. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk (rlly hope this was the right situation to use that).
