How to make a V-Wrap thread button (Arrowhead button or Pfeilknopf), plus a soutache variation

- How to make a thread button with a V-wrap design.
This tutorial shows a plain, striped and soutache version (which is worked slightly differently).
There are a few different ways to work this button, the technique shown here is a good starter technique.
Materials used in this tutorial:
No 8 perle cotton (two colours)
30mm disc button mould
3mm wide soutache braid
Tools used in this tutorial:
Scissors, tapestry needle,
Gina-B Silkworks' Button Maker's Third Hand (optional)
Gina-B Silkworks' Circle Gauge set (optional) & pencil

Thanks for the detailed video. Will definitely give this a try. Is it possible to do this on buttons with smaller diameter?
If you use a smaller thread instead of the 3mm soutache, yes. Finer soutache is hard to get today (sometimes you can find it as vintage). I've made this using perle cotton and silks, so just have a play!
