Out of (10) people I asked for any kind of comprehensive explanation in regards to "How to Paint" instructions, you were the only one who could explain to a novice like myself how to use Photoshop and create a paint scheme.

thanks for the refresher course. I had figured this out once before a couple years ago, made a bunch of livery for all the cars I wanted, then stopped playing. I just recently dusted off the ol' cockpit and re-installed (fresh) iracing. totally forgot how to do this, so thanks chief.

I haven't tried this yet and I will.. but how does uploading your paint job to some other website (tradingpaints) get your paintjob into iracing where you and others can see it? Sorry I don't get this bit..
Can these templates be resized to a larger file? i know in other sims ive painted cars that were 2-4k and looked much better than these 1k cause of the liveries and logo designs
when I try to select and area to change the color with the magic wand it doesnt just give that area , it gives multi areas ?
when i select the magic wand the whole temp is outlined not the body part ?
Can someone tell me why when I try to select a portion of the car with the wand tool, it selects the entire outline of the car. Not just the hood for example
If you just save a paint scheme in your iRacing and not to the Trading Paints showroom, will other drivers still see that scheme on your car if you're running it on the track? Or do you have to run Trading Paints in the background to make that happen?
gandrade27 you need to download the Trading Paints plug in and have that running, but you don’t need to select any paints inside the TP site.
GIMP is free for those who don't have photoshop. Just as good.
i can't even do the file. photo shop doesn't like templates. psd files are not useable, tried finding a way to make it png and no luck so im not even at part 1. 2021 doesn't allow 2015 style of photoshop.

Got to say thank you. Very helpful and i managed to sort my cars out now But on a negative Jesus you take so so long to explain things and talk rubbish. This video could have been around 20 mins long had you just stuck to explaining the process
