  • New Age in the Church?! Yep. It's been going on for quite a while now. In fact, you'd be shocked to know that a lot of Christians believe in many New Age beliefs and don't even know it. I might make a part 2 to this at some point because I realize that there's a LOT of New Age practices out there. But in putting this video together, these are the top 5 deceptions that I kept thinking about that I see the most in churches today: Law of Attraction, Oneness, Religious Pluralism, Universalism, and Mysticism. I talk about what each of these are and how they are so deceptively synced together in many Christian worldviews.

Hi everyone! Wow, I didn't know this video would blow up as it has. I'm glad it's helped people and has blessed many!
I just wanted to clarify that this video was not made to refute each of these New Age teachings Biblically. I've done many other videos on that that I'll link below. This video was very specific- which of these specific New Age practices do we actually see in the Church and how are they implemented? What are they? How are they hiding under the guise of Christianity and how are they used?
If you want to see my previous content where Scripture is used to actually refute these teachings, check it out below :-):

@@moihmoih2867 always keep this in your mind while reading any verse is stick it to the context of a chapter or a book of the bible. In other words, cherry picking verses is never a good idea unless its stands on its own(rarely though). That said about the verse you qouted, you'd have to read ealier in the same chapter about what Jesus did to the fig tree that didn't bear fruit as it was in season. He cursed it as it unable to bear fruit, (there are much deeper context/meaning around this fig tree which I will not cover now). Meanwhile later Jesus and his disciples came pass by this same tree, Peter recognized this fig tree that is now withered as Jesus had cursed it. Jesus then point out the importance of having a faith in God, a legitimate faith, that everything is possible with God that is impossible (like mountain to disappear into sea) for ourselves. Because if you TRULY believe in God (not even with littlest of doubt), whatever you ask of Him, things will be done (anything that is impossible for us). This is in contrast to when a group of people who still have doubts in Jesus, asked Jesus to show miracles to them again after Jesus had feed 5000 people with only 5 loaves of bread and pair of fish. If you have legitimate faith in God, you can truly move the mountains (the impossible) because God makes it possible. I hope these makes it clear and understandable for you? May God bless you in abundance!

Anything that contradicts what scripture says is incorrect. 1 John 4:1-3(NIV), "Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but TEST the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

@@mistiroberts1576 There is discernment of doctrine and discernment of spirits dear. The people of Berea were more noble than those of Thessalonica, because they went back to search the scriptures to check if they were true. That is the way to discern and test true doctrine.
Another form though, is when spirits are involved, imagine someone is trying to dupe you on the spot, or there is some spiritual manipulation going on around you, it is the Holy Spirit inside you that will bear witness with your own spirit that what is going on is not true. This is what happened when Apostle Paul was able to know that Bar Jesus was influencing the ruler of the city away from not believing the gospel. Right on the spot. It was discernment by the Holy Spirit, he didn't have to read any bible scripture there (lol, I mean of course that would be like hypocrisy) --- Acts 13:4-12

It was a huge struggle breaking away from all of this stuff even last year as I started walking with Jesus. We really need to read and study more. Question everything!! I remember being deceived last year by a presence telling me God wasn't how He's portrayed in The Bible and all I had to do was know Him mystically. Now that I look back on that, I realize I still had some doors open and I'm glad Jesus is shutting them gradually. Thank You Lord!!

Another word for what you described here: “prosperity gospel”. It’s the religion of Baal. Baal was the god of winds that made the ships sail, ergo the god of prosperity. Ahab, Jezebel, and the priests of Baal were way into this prosperity gospel. The prophet Elijah? Not so much.

I stepped away from Christianity for many years due to the lose of my Mother when I was a teen. I researched many belief systems. While on this journey I have many times where I was protected and cared for by God. In the last year or so I have returned, and even listened to the Bible completely. It explains so much, even on the Supernatural side. God will provide as he wills it. It's just sad that people will say they have Jesus in their heart while doing magic. The Bible says it through out, we are not to dabble in such things. Even in the new testament he speaks of sorcery. We are also challenged to not just be be saved by the blood. That we are to take up our cross and follow Jesus. I'm still working towards this myself and it's not easy.

A few years ago, I started using an audio Bible. I find this much easier than reading. So, I would turn it on while I was cleaning or folding laundry or getting ready for work. I decided to go from Genesis all the way through. I have been a Christian for 48 years. I WAS SHOCKED AT MANY OF THE STORIES IN THE OLD TESTAMENT. So much of what is in the Bible is never preached in the pulpit. There were people I had never heard of (Ehud, for one.) There were concepts I had never considered. There was a rawness and frankness about the world and life that I never understood. I felt like a veil was lifted and for the first time life seemed easier to understand. For example, why do we feel like God doesn’t care for us when something bad happens? Thru every part of the Bible tragic things happen to people God obviously loves. (Example: Naomi and Ruth, and almost all Jesus’ disciples.) Without hearing every page of the Bible for myself, I would never have come to understand God the way I do now, and I would have never come to know true peace. I highly recommend - if you are not a reader - you use an audio version of the Bible. I’ve probably been through the entire Bible twenty times now and every time I learn something new.

Vision boards have now been introduced to my church. It was the Pastor's wife who did this. She teaches the college/young adult bible study class, and they are doing a vision board. I'm not in that class. She was telling me about it before church one Sunday. I asked her, "Isn't that a new age practice?". She just looked at me and continued talking about how wonderful it is. The Pastor had her announce to the church what they are doing. Looks like it won't be long before the other study groups will be encouraged to use vision boards too. I'm really bugged by this, and am now praying about what God wants me to do. Yes, this stuff is creeping into churches and no church is immune.

We are the sheep...and must be careful of Musings/ perceptions of others. We do need to regard Pleasing others with caution. Not because they are in our church, but if it is Suppprted by Scripture. I'm a mom ..not married..and am often feeling guilted for expressing realities of doing things myself. It's a time crunch..I ve had injuries from overdoing. I thus have recognized I cannot push myself to chronic exhaustion. That isnt what Jesus asks. I dont need to explain why I was not at church..believe me..my teen is not cooperative..If I dont ensure he is doing his studies..It is my responsibility..I cant Skip. I ll pray at home and worship. I do find married people dont quite understand..I dont have backup for various things not completed. Letting things go is ok but not plausible. As the bible says..orderly conduct is wisdom. I serve seniors and that is also to love them where they are. I know all kinds of new age words come out in conversations. I don't return the responses..Or I d be agreeing tacitly what they tout Is right or true. Praying as I go amidst many who are swayed to believe these things. I convey having liked magic in movies..ie Disney..but dont put stock in any new age information. Believing "your" wishes will happen as you want..Isnt correct. If It is where and when God wants you to be..it will be confirmed..others will get a message of it being sound ( of the Holy Spirit/God). Feeling doubt sometimes occurs..many people in my church have limited English..so in groups..we cant get detailed about doctrine ( some concern they cant explain Why scriptures stand..or the cross referencing is not really done or understood). That's where vagueness can allow confusion about What's correct. I know it's a hindrance..I need to have the best details..as I encounter all kinds of people in my walk. I wont use Familiar words of Oneness or Loving everyone..As they can be misconstrued by persons. Pray God gives me the right words. My pastor says ask questions..he isnt the authority..isnt claiming He has the final word. Humility with questions is good to see/ know. Thanks for Scrutinizing with Humility and Right minded , Lord lead observations.

@LaVerdadEsMuyCatólica The Catholic church adheres to teachings that are based on their own created traditions that are in opposition to the Bible. The Bible does NOT teach that Mary is a perpetual virgin, or the result of a virgin birth, or the queen of heaven, she required salvation just like all of us. Jesus was the ONLY virgin birth mentioned in the Bible, and the ONLY human that was born without "original sin" mentioned in the Bible. There is no mention of purgatory in the Bible, either. There is no praying someone out of torment and into Heaven mentioned, either. Praying to the saints? That is praying to the dead, a.k.a. necromancy. God is NOT dead, HE is the ONLY one that we should be praying to, just as the Bible says from beginning to end! Confession should be made directly to God the Father in prayer, not to another man. NO MAN can absolve another of sin, only the shed blood of Jesus has the power to cleanse us of sin. We cannot decide for our children whether or not they will accept Christ as Savior, a decision we ALL must make for ourselves, which is why infant baptism cannot be found in the Scriptures. There is so much more, but this enough to show anyone who has actually read the Bible that Catholicism places as much if not more value on their own traditions than on God's Word, the Bible. I hope you accept this challenge to take what you believe and everything you hear or read and compare it to the Bible for yourself, so that there is no place given for deception from ANYONE! And, just so you know, Jesus did not come to establish an organization, that already existed. He came to die, to shed His precious blood as payment for our sin, so that we could spend eternity with Him! He came to have to have a personal relationship with each one of us forever, THAT is what He came to establish. He wants YOU to be His temple - His dwelling place!

Now, I understand the negative sentiment above entirely and I've always shared it, too, but the fact is our works-righteousness and our pride in our avoidance of sin are sins themselves and just as deadly of sins as sexual immorality. Nothing mysterious, I just happened to be more foolish than most. :) But pursing the supernatural for an experience is dangerous. We forget that we all have a spirit. Every time we die to ourselves and pick up our cross, we are having a "supernatural" experience. Everything else tends towards idolatry. When we get hyperfocused on angels, spirits and the like, we are forgetting what God has called us to do, to love God and to love one another.

As a former Freemason, I will tell you, be wise in the spirit. Walk only in the spirit of truth, that which no lie comes from. I say this, because I moved away from freemasonry for a reason. They are all my brothers, but I pray that they may come to the truth given to us to set us free. But I will say, a former Freemason put his hands on the Bible and rewrote it. He reinterpreted, why, only the most high knows. You are told, call on to me, and I will show all things hidden that you can’t see, and do not know. Be sure that you are delivered completely of all, before speaking to others. And if you are wondering, king James was the one of the ones whom rewrote or reinterpreted. That’s why it say, cursed be the man that add or change my truth. We are warned, walk only in the spirit of the most high. Even Christ spoke of this, He came to deliver us of all lies. Just like someone teaching you to do better in a subject, the most high teaches you in the subject of life. How to walk, speak, etc. but you have a free will, and even Freemasons understood that. My people perish because they lack knowledge. Only the most high gives you the divine truth and knowledge in Him. And We are thankful for the gift of the most high, to bring us to be one with the most high. We aren’t Gods, we hold on to the most high. And the most high walks hand in hand with us. Test these things, and look at the tree, careful with the fruits of these trees.

In the 1970's, I was a part of the New Age movement. I produced and hosted the only "New Age" radio show on the east coast. I know this stuff backward and forward. This is not a doctrine of God. It is a doctrine of Man, being misled by Satan. It is a lust for becoming a powerful person, and one who does not need a god other than oneself. It is a narcissistic view of the world that is designed to make people feel good "now," and to not care about their future, in eternity. It only took me a few years of exposure to these ideas to recognize what is actually going on in this so-called, "New Age." It is me, me, me, in charge of me, rather than redemption through God's Grace. Your best life CANNOT happen now, because this is a sin cursed world, and Jesus is coming to set it right, because only He can do it. Not you. Not me. Not personal power. Not oness. There is a special punishment for those who willingly mislead others. Many, many names we know today will be receiving that punishment

Even in some of the more fundamental churches, you get that "Oneness" vibes. I love my church, but they do tend to imply that not attending meetings can mean someone is out of fellowship with God himself. God repeatedly told his prophets and his children to spend time alone with him, never specifying how long each of us would need alone with him. Solitude in prayer is important to me, and it scares me to think that if I can't make it to church in this pandemic with 3 kids (one of whom I gave birth to during this season and has special needs that literally required the final trimester of my pregnancy to be spend on bedrest) that God considers me out of fellowship with him. No, I'm in solitude with him, I couldn't have survived this season without that solitude with my father.

Your personal relationship with God is important but fellowship with fellow Christians is important too.
      Hebrews 10:24-25 (UKJV)
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love (o. agape) and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as all of you see the day approaching.
Love God & love your neighbours. When Saul was converted, God directed him to one of His church leaders for further guidance.
Ephesians 5:29-30 (UKJV) For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones.
We are indeed called to be one, in Christ. Satan has perverted this concept of oneness and used it to all sorts of cults, which is why we often have a negative impression when we are called to be 'one'.
Our current situation is a unique one of course, and I'm sure if you are unable to go to church, God understands. He would not forsake you. Your church should be more active in reaching out to those who cannot attend meetings in person. I hope things will change for you & your family soon, never lose hope.

Not attending church doesn't mean you're out of fellowship with God. You ARE the church and God lives in you. If God LIVES in you, he won't leave you.
      1 Corinthians 3:16
Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?
BUT, we must go to church with our brothers and sisters in faith because we are part of the body of Christ and we are called to practice our faith as we grow in love with one another.
Reasons why we go to church:
•To 'set apart' one day of the week for the Lord and to have one day of rest
      Exodus 20:8-10
“Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the LORD your God...
      •To seek God's presence
      Matthew 8:20
"For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”
•We are the body of Christ
      Romans 12:5
“So we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.”
      •To sharpen one another
      Proverbs 27:18
      “Iron sharpens iron,
      and one man sharpens another.”
•To avoid being decieved by sin and being hardened
      Hebrews 3:12-13
“Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin”
•To love one another and show the world the love of Jesus
      Galatians 6:10
"So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith”
      John 13:35
“By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have LOVE for one another.”
•To practice good works with each other
      Hebrews 10:24
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works.”
      •To encourage one another
      Hebrews 10:25
"not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but ENCOURAGING one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."
•So there will be someone to help us when we stumble and fall
      Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
      Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor:
If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.
      But pity anyone who falls
and has no one to help them up.
•To hear God's word and let our faith be strengthened
      Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
      Romans 10:17
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
You see, the purpose of attending church is not to make our lives harder and a burden. It wasn't made to be a job. It was made so we can rest from our job and ultimately to find rest in Jesus.
      Mark 2:27
Jesus said, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.”
      Matthew 11:28-30
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
Sometimes there are valid reasons why we can't attend church (like the Covid-19 pandemic) BUT, if we do not REGULARLY seek the Lord, we will soon forget Him and everything He promised, then we will forget who we are and why we are here.
God's will for all of us is to grow in love with Him and with one another.
Bottom line is, seek God regularly by going to church if possible and have alone time with God, pray everyday.
Thanks for reading! These thoughts just came flooding in. Keep the fire burning.
Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.(Romans 12:11)
MAY GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU ❤️🔥

So if someone believes in God a different way is going to hell? Hmm I don’t think god is going to condemn people who don’t worship Jesus. God listens to our hearts only God knows the truth. We will never know. We just have to follow what our soul tells us because that never lies.

    • @friedcake5025
      @friedcake5025 Před 3 lety +9

@Johizzle The thing is, we do know, as it is revealed to us in the Word of God.
John 3:16-21 KJV "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God." (Other scriptures that show Jesus's Authority as the Son of God: Matthew 11:27, Matthew 28:18, John 3:31-36, John 14, Philippians 2:1-11.)
The Bible is very clear on the truth that there is only one God. The teachings that Jesus gave in the gospels are very important for us to comprehend and uphold since He proved that He was God through His resurrection on the third day after His death, just as He had predicted (see 1 Timothy 2:5, 1 Corinthians 15:12-23.) This is why Jesus is revered as God, because He has proven that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life! (John 14:6 KJV "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.")
While it is true that God looks at the heart (see 1 Samuel 16:7, Proverbs 21:2,) our hearts became inherently wicked from the consequence of our sins, which are the transgressions of God's Law (see Romans 3:9-24.) That is why through the belief in the Lord Jesus Christ, who died for our sins, we are able to receive a new heart and new Spirit (see Ezekiel 36:26,) and ultimately the gift of salvation by grace though faith (see Ephesians 2:8-9.) Through Christ, we are able to be born again (see 2 Corinthians 5:17.)
Jeremiah 17:9-10 KJV "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings."
Mark 7:21-23 KJV " For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man."
To sum it all up, what separates us from God is our sin. We have all fallen short from the glory of God because of it, and without the sacrifice of Jesus Christ who died for us, we would all perish and be destined for hellfire. How amazing God's love is that He sent His Son to die for us! How merciful! For one to be saved, one must believe in Christ and repent from their sins. God is forgiving (see 1 John 1:9.)
      The key to salvation:
Romans 10:9-10 KJV "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Acts 2:36-38 KJV "Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
Hopefully this will lead you closer to Him. May God bless you. ❤️

Sadly, the way I got sucked into New Age was 1) a teacher in my CATHOLIC high school who befriended my sister and taught her all about this stuff, 2) through my own Catholic church where a 'reiki master' was permitted to use the church conference room as her personal reiki practice studio. Then began a long detour through shamanistic teachings, psychedelics, hippy festivals, etc. Eventually I got sick and tired of being so conflicted by my own beliefs. One day I sat down and prayed. I chose to just shut out all these "spiritual" ideas and allow God's Word to say what it says, with fresh eyes. The very next day when I woke up, I felt completely changed in a way I can't describe. That was about 5 years ago. Haven't battled my lifetime anxiety and depression ever since. More in love with Jesus every day.

That depends on so many more factors. 5 min off but you are at the gate to check in is fine, 5 hours off but you are a 6 hours drive from the airport is not fine. Situations are way more dynamic and complex than just flat! If you don’t pay attention the ‘orthodoxie’ in christianity can be way too flat and miss all the complexities by not reading in context and time and highlighting short texts over other texts and whole contexts!

    • @SongfestilvalIsrael
      @SongfestilvalIsrael Před 4 lety

Making the Bible and Jesus this black and white fits the orthodox stream which by highlighting certain texts over other texts or without contexts make a person like Jesus look Very one dimensional. I think exactly the reason why this church and especially the orthodox stream has so many difficulties in dealing with people that Jesus just visited and loved. Thieves, prostitutes, wrongdoers and he despised those who were so bring without any heart to God but seemingly doing the right thing ‘exactly following scriptures’ (but were they With all their literate purity). As long as what you would think is ‘the real church’, your orthodox stream can’t be what it should be if they would really walk in Jesus footsteps, how can Hu expect people (non believers and ‘new age christians’) to ever be so black and white about certain parts of the texts like ‘Jesus is the only way’ etc. Just by telling them? Saying it’s black and white? Whiteout BEING all the other things Jesus was? It’s exactly like the religious of his time, the ones he despised!

    1. When a teaching come to me, from whoever it is (pastor, friend, etc) I always ask "Whats the bible verse that wrote about that?".
    2. If he show me some specific verse, then i will check its context, all the verse before it, and after it.
Because I have this "back to the bible" mindset 😅.
I've heard many pastor's preach, its sounds more like a motivational speech than a Word of God 😅
And sometimes, they take only 1 verse, and bring it out of that verse context, just to justify their preaching 😐
So if u want to check their teaching, just read that "Love letter" that Jesus left for u 😄

I went to a Christian private school and served for years growing up. I knew the Lord personally, but after going on my own as an adult, a lot of those beliefs melted their way into what I believed and stumbled me. It was refreshing to hear everything re explained and how they find their way into the church. The Lord definitely made that happen. Also, I love in your most recent video how you mentioned the LDS. My husband and I just moved to South ID from TX and yeah, I've had some conversations - you hit the nail on the head with their beliefs lol. Sure wish we could connect :) Thanks again.

“God is all love and no wrath.” This is 100% what my old church/university community preached. I could see the new age starting to creep into my church when I was in junior high, and by college, it was full on integrated into our university chapels. Things like prayer labyrinths, self-acceptance, self-centered worship, tolerance and unity (“breaking down barriers” language), language of “mindfulness,” “meditation,” “being STILL, STILLNESS, SILENCE,” etc. all focus on the “LOVE OF GOD,” but no focus on sin/Christ’s atonement. I could go on and on. I didn’t realize these things were influenced by new age, but I just knew that it never sat right with me. At the time, I thought I wasn’t a good Christian because everyone else seemed to be so involved in the emotional performances of these new practices, but I was skeptical and hardened against them. (People would actually ask me why I wasn’t crying, or why I wasn’t participating.) But looking back, I think the Holy Spirit was in me the whole time, protecting my heart and mind from those beliefs that were not of Him.

My mom used to always tell me that the reason things aren’t working out for me is because I don’t have a vision board or write down everything I want and pray over it so that it happens. I never got around to doing it. She used to always tell me to speak things into existence which I now know is the law of attraction. I never got around to doing that either. I’m just glad that some thing prevented me from getting really into these practices I always felt there was something off.

      Actually she isn't that wrong
Because it is written in Matthew 7:7 KJV "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:"
So speaking it to Existence is a Form of Asking, (Actually it depends on how you use it ) And! this might also help Psalm 8:6 KJV
"Thou madest him(you and i) to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:"
The lord said he has put all things under our feet meaning the earth and all that's in it. Through Jesus Christ we can command the air even the world to work for our Good!🤯❤

We are instructed to write our vision down. But this is referring to th God given vision that HE gives us. It is done as a means to encourage us & help us stay on th path He has given us. Know your Bible :)

@@christianekwuazi2604 , Ahhh, the Enemy is so crafty! He takes a bit of the truth and mixes it with lies so that you can't discern the difference.
Eat the apple. You won't "surely" die.
