- Honestly, it was so difficult to come up with just ten. (Spoiler alert... I have some honorable mentions at the end!) These men and women have helped me in many ways along the years by supplying me with solid, biblical, reliable, and relatable information. Best of all, they love Jesus and good theology!

Also, I didn't mention this in the video, but Sean interviewed Jon Steingard, the lead singer of Hawk Nelson who just posted not too ling ago that he doesn't believe in God anymore. This is one of the best interviews I've seen with him. Sean was soft spoken, kind, but very easily able to answer his questions. Thank you so much for helping increase the reach of my ministry and these other worthwhile people! Great list.
You definitely deserve a spot, Mike. Thank you both for your teaching. You are both great resources for an apologetics student like me. May God continue to richly bless you both and your ministries.
I love your channel. You and Melissa are definitely on my list.
Mike,
Your ministry has profoundly impacted my life. May tbe Lord continue to use you!
Blessings!
Your videos on Roman Catholicism were awesome! The first one I watched was, "Why I can't be Roman Catholic". I was looking for info on Roman Catholicism and I enjoyed them all so much. I have since watched several other series by other CZcamsrs on the subject. I even watch some Roman Catholic channels and they confirm a lot of what you said in your videos. I thought it was SUPER CLASSY when you made the video telling people not to support you during the lockdown if they were struggling!
@MikeWinger, your videos on Catholicism literally saved my husband, myself, and our daughter from getting pulled deeper into the Catholic Church. We had left Protestantism for Catholicism a couple years ago after falling victim to the apologetic cherry picking that many Catholic apologists do and we weren’t rooted enough in Protestant theology to know the truth about the differences in Protestant and Catholic teachings. Thank you for your videos, Mike. God is using you to help lead people back to the narrow path and trust in the grace of God in Jesus Christ alone.
I find Allen Parr to be a very kind teacher. I find many Christian CZcamsrs to be condescending & arrogant and overall fear mongers; but he is very gentle in his approach and I don’t think he has an arrogant bone in his body.
Thank you for mentioning gentleness over arrogance. I’ve been finding the arrogance in quite a few apologetics teachers. Quite a bit of “my way or the highway” from some. It hurts the world’s view of Christians.
Yes Allen Parr has been helpful to me in these confusing times for exactly that reason
Pastor Alistair Begg with Truth For Life ministries has helped me through the most difficult time in my life.
I watch his videos a lot
@@Po_Dunk Actually, it's Christ's way or the highway.
I’m not reformed either but I LOVE LOVE LOVE to listen to Voddie Baucham. His devotion to biblical apologetics and no-nonsense down-to-earth approach to preaching is so refreshing. I also thoroughly enjoyed his booked called “Family Driven Faith” that discusses why 75% of children leave the faith almost as soon as they leave the home, and walks parents through the absolute importance of leading their children spiritually at home rather than leaving it up to a once a week Sunday school class. I hope to get his book on apologetics soon. He eats, sleeps, and breathes apologetics lol.
I like Voddie on Apologetics, but to think that we are ALREADY in the Millenial Reign of Christ - nope
Yes I like him too
cj nav haha, I am currently listening through his revelation series and haven’t gotten that far. I do know he believes we are in the midst of the tribulation period. But I have no solid opinion on his particular interpretation of Revelation just yet aside from really enjoying his breakdown of the context behind the letters to the churches.
I just discovered Voddie! I LOVE him as well. Definitely your go to man when it comes to cultural issues; Social Justice aka Cultural Marxism.
What do you mean exactly when you say your not "reformed"? I hear Spencer Smith say that allot. I think he did a video on it.. I think he is IFB.. a normal version of it if you will
Personally, I thank God that there is no one person on this planet that has ever lived except Jesus with whom I agree totally, because I would likely be tempted to put them on a pedestal. What a blessing!
An excellent piece of advice for us all. I made that mistake in the past.
Just reading this now and it’s ashamed what has come out about Mr Ravi 😢 let us pray for his family and those affected by what has been revealed.🙏🙏🙏
And it’s true what you both have said above.
JESUS CHRIST is the only one to be uplift to the highest of all.
We must apply wisdom, we have to be very careful whom we uphold in their positions.
Know that they all have been saved by Grace as well.
We are all wretched sinners.
Even those in our top 5 or top 10 etc.
THAT is the very reason we have about 5,000 denominations of CHRISTIANITY TODAY.. teachers or leaders that "separated" themselves from the TRUE CHURCH , coz they take a specific "belief" to take AS primary teaching...
In doing so, no matter how noble the reason is, they just "split "the CHURCH further...
Paul tells us that,
when he said and i paraphrase, luckily i did not baptized a lot except few, or you would claim i am of PAUL.....
Of course, God above all! "It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man." Psalm 118:8
It's great that you are strong in the word. I am a born again believer in Christ. I learn best from gathering different perspectives and seeking the truth in the word. I pray on things daily now. I know Jesus is the best teacher...but some of us need the fellowship and guidance of other Christians to help keep us grounded in God's truth and light. Jesus wanted us to minister and spread the good news far and wide. He wants respectable, honest people living as godly as they can to become teachers and exemplify what it means to be in the body of Christ. Pray for those who you think are deceived. Never think you are above them because you receive God's truth without the help of other humans apparently. I pray thia in Jesus precious, mighty name: Dear heavenly father, if need be, and in HIS will; that you may find a ministry you are comfortable with that gives you fellowship while following God's word. Amen.
well said sister as I have witnessed too often lately more worship of the creation than the Creator. I have seen folks that worship the pastor..ie Dove awards they thanked their Pastors for writing the song that won and not once mentioned The Lord at all, quite sad.
My mom is a Jehovah witness and I’ve been studying with JWs for two years now. I’ve been faced with opposition as I bring up topics like the deity of Jesus etc. and my mom is expecting me to be baptised in their organisation. I’ve been having tough times,I do not want to be a Jehovah witness and I’ve been arguing with my mom about the deity of Christ and the trinity for quite a while now. I need prayers thanks🙏🏾
Joshua Efosa prayers for strength and endurance. For God’ light to continue to light your path as you grow in faith and love. In Jesus name. Amen.
As the rain and the snow
come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
Isaiah 55:10-11
The power is in the Word! If the word is a sword you gotta be a swordsman! Show her in the Scriptures and let the word do its thing. Pray first. Salvation and sanctification both happen the same way. The Word of God and the Spirit of God colliding in a human heart.
If you were the devil wouldnt you hate Jesus and try to mislead the world in who Jesus is?..
Lifting you up in prayer, Joshua! As a former 3rd generation Jehovah’s Witness, I was also married into that religion, my extended family are JW’s and even my JW mother lives with us so I just want to say that I can truly empathize with your struggle. I try to be and also teach my kids to be respectful of my mother and to not mock or insult her (that’s my teenager’s m.o., to mock the watchtower). Not saying that you do that, but mocking or insulting is not helpful because it causes her to be all kinds of empathetic towards the governing body. But my 17 year old son is able to go Bible-to-Bible with her and it always ends in frustration for her because he is keen on how to defend against JW rhetoric. She pretty much refuses to speak with me about anything “spiritual” because I’m apostate, but on the rare occasions when it does happen, I try to do my best to simply share the gospel (aka “good news”) with her. I pray for her tons and engage brothers and sisters in Christ to pray for her. In fact, will you please pray for my mother and I will also pray that the Lord will open up the eyes and heart of your mother and bring her to life in Him? Prayer is where it’s at! And praise God that you are not baptized into that dead religion that demands devotion to men, rather than to the Lord of Glory! If you are a minor, does your mother actually study with you or does she enlist brothers in the congregation to do this? I am curious about that. One thing you could potentially request of her is that the two of you have “Bible studies/book studies” (we know that nobody is studying the actual Bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses, just to be clear) and then that could be the time when you lovingly, respectfully, patiently show her the words of God from the pages of His word. James White (Alpha + Omega Ministries) has some really helpful apologetics for speaking with JW’s and I highly recommend you search out his videos and books! Again, please know that I am praying for you, Joshua -- God bless you brother!
In the past I've listened to a CZcams channel called Witness for Jesus. Her name is Dawn and she came out of JW's. I highly recommend her channel!
You're in my list Melissa, you definitely play your part and I appreciate it. God keeps blessing you ministry.
I share a few of your favorites. My favorite by far is John Macarthur (i think he has the most brilliant biblical exposition that I’ve ever heard ..for literally decades)....followed closely by the late RC Sproul, Justin Peters, Ray Comfort, Charles Lawson, and Paul Washer. Thanks for sharing your list!
God bless :).
Paul Washer is one of my all-time favorite preachers. As you said, he's just so genuine in his desire for people to repent and be saved that it's clear it's not for fame.
I'm not so sure. He has a net worth of $4M. He's obviously making a lot of money.
hanna24 It's not a sin to make money. It's how one uses money. John D. Rockefeller, Sr. was a very strong Christian who used his money to fund Christian education.
@@milah24 Does the bible condemn a person because they have/earn a decent sum of money?
He lives humbly. It's bad form to scrutinize wealth when they're is no evidence the numbers are true and no context for how they spend it. We are to hold our leaders accountable but we need to know what we are doing first. And God gives wealth as a blessing for some. Be careful of envy.
GWCinstitute it’s also how one makes the money.
Chuck Missler. Humble brilliant man. More of a teacher. Bible scholar, Hebrew, Greek, physicist, mathematician, specialty in information sciences. Integrity through and through. He also gets along with scholars that may disagree.
You wrote exactly what I would've about Dr. Chuck Missler. RIP Chuck, you were my first Bible teacher when I came (back) to Jesus 10 yrs ago! God Bless.
yes, amount the absolute best
True for me too. I continue to learn a lot from Chuck. He's my favourite.
My Favorite Teacher is the Holy Spirit. He sits right next to me as I read my scriptures. After all he is the author and used human proxies to write the book. Initially, the books of scipture were 70 total books. The 66 books came about from psalms being reduced from 5 books to only one. Read the Bible folks, get the Holy Spirit and have him teach you, remember Grace teaches as well.
Two of my favorites are on this list, Mike Winger and Allen Parr! Thanks for all you do, Melissa!!
Yes Mike Winger for the win!!!
When you said Paul Washer was the most genuine preacher, I agreed with you 100%. After watching American Gospel, he was one that really stood out to me because he spoke so genuinely and love radiated from him ❤️.
Sadly, the best Bible teachers I've heard are almost all gone. John MacArthur and Charles Stanley were both top notch when they were younger. I've learned so much from R.C. Sproul and Adrian Rogers too. The best female Bible teacher I've ever heard is Nancy Leigh DeMoss. I also like to hear Sheila Walsh speak. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the list. I am now reformed... wasn't for years, but the more I studied Scripture... IT won me over! I am turning 70 this year. ....So thanks for being open to James White.
I was converted after hearing one of Paul Washer’s sermons. I recently found Shane Idleman as a great preacher.
There’s no video I can watch from you without needing a pen and paper with me. Your videos are literally food for mind and your personality is food for soul. 😅 just found your yt channel recently, but I’m just so in love with everything you do! ♥️
Paul Washer is my favorite preacher!! Everyone of his sermons convict with me with truth!! God has spoken to me through so many of his sermons, and they are just so filled with truth from the word of God. He has encouraged me so much in my walk with God even through his question and answer sessions! I thank God for men like Paul who really love people and Christ above all!
I love him too! Ray Comfort has to be my favorite tho! I love he non judgmental approach he takes ✨
@@angelbarajas9180 add Voddie Baucham to that list
Hi Melissa! Thank you so much for this info! I’ll be checking these teachers out for sure! I’ve been enjoying your content for a few weeks now, and I’m thrilled to have found you here on CZcams. My quest for Truth truly began with Bethel music and finding out about Bethel church and their practices. My current church uses some Bethel songs during praise and worship and that became a stumbling block for me. God made it clear to me that it was time to dig deep and truly get into his Word! ❤️
Me, too! Stumbling block is right. However, I feel like there is nowhere else to go in my small town and I stay for the people. I feel like they are becoming my mission field. I'm not sure if I'm right but I'm doing what I can, even if it's just prayer. Would love more advice form, Melissa, it's a difficult discion to leave a church.
Thank you for making this list Melissa. I found Mike Winger through you and it was incredibly helpful. As a former “new ager” (and that term feels like a benign euphemism for what I was following) and now having been born again through the grace of Jesus, I appreciate your story about your journey even more. I appreciate your discernment and how lovingly you share your perspective and knowledge. May God continue to bless your ministry.
So appreciate that you’ve listed those you recommend in the description box. Thank you!
Hi Mellisa and greetings from Berlin Germany! I cant think of a list myself without David Wilkerson. Such a pillar of Soirit filled ethics, such an example of original orthodox charismatic faith, to me this is where everything got started from.
No positiv thinking or any other jazz that penetrated the renewal round about 1984. I never fell for any of it.
Warmly,
Harry
Agreed. David Wilkerson was a true man of God through and through. Talk about speaking truth.
I got into apologetics (and started becoming one myself) May 2019. Though a few of these names you've mentioned I have heard in passing throughout my 20 yrs as a Christian, it was not until this past year plus did I get introduced to the rest of your list - starting with Mike Winger.
However, I would like you to know that you are the 1st apologists I started listening to. The person who God used to trigger me to start defending my faith is someone I care deeply for but who is an ex-JW engaging in the New Age, (and believing Jesus Mythicism ideas). As far as I know, they are not yet a Christian. So your apologetics ministry has been the most personal to me, and one I have frequently come back to.
Thank you!
Katie Mullinax Melissa has helped me, too❤️
Man, thanks so much for this list! Motivated me to make a list of my favorite pastors/youtubers for future reference, and made a tab just for these people :D Can't wait to check 'em out.
Been waiting for this! Thank u! May God bless you abundantly.
Thank you. You’ve given me some new names to look into. My top are: Voddie Baucham Jr., RC Sproul, Paul Washer, John Piper, John Macarthur ♥️
@Para Freeman hmm never heard the term - is this basically stating that in our saving faith, we are moved to serve Christ as our Lord and Savior, be obedient in turning away from sin, and confessing our sins in a genuine state of contrition.
We are depraved at heart, but in rebirth out hearts seek Truth and righteousness, all of which is in Christ.
Check out Alistair Begg as well. My top 5 are Sproul, Voddie, Washer, MacArthur and Begg.
John Piper is fantastic
Yay! I have recently found Allen Par. I love listening to his messages. He is so kind and easy to understand.
So grateful that I have already been listening to some of these and looking forward to checking out the rest. I love listening to you as well.
I am on the pursuit of sound doctrine. I have learned so much through your channel and other channels. I have become cautious and worried about the pastors that I really enjoyed, but now that I have the knowledge I am on a relentless pursuit for the absolute truth. So many pastors I’ve been following, I have learned have distorted the gospel to fit their narrative. I still listen to Billy Graham and Dr. Robert Jeffress but I am so thankful for this list. Just last night I was praying and asking God for discernment. I am not perfect by any means and God is not expecting perfection from me, but I want to do my best to follow leaders who truly preach from the word of God. I am so happy I stumbled across your channel a few days ago. Your testimony is amazing and may God always bless you.
John MacArthur, R.C. Sproul, Steve Lawson, Justin Peters, Matt Chandler, Jeff Durbin, Alaister Begg, C.H.Spurgeon
That would be my list as well.
I would leave out Matt Chandler. He has become a social justice gospel guy. I would also include John Piper.
Leighton Flowers is also awesome 💖
J. Vernon McGee,
I agree with adding Jeff Durbin to the list. I’ve learned so much from him (and James White) I was even ashamed after watching that my knowledge of the Bible was weak & I have been spending the last 2 years changing that. I’ve realized that the more I learn the more I want to learn.
Thanks for the info! I really enjoy the Fighting for the Faith CZcams channel and have found it very helpful for discernment.
Thanks for the list! I’m familiar with and appreciative the teaching of a lot of these folks too. There’s so much noise in my YT feed about “false teachers” (and there are plenty of them out there) - makes me all the more thankful for your video listing a bunch of good ones!
Thank you for your list. I must say that I am unfamiliar with many of those names with the exception of Ravi whom I have been listening to for many years and dearly love. I look forward to looking these people up.
I Co-wrote a book with Sean McDowell and J. Warner Wallace. When I say that, I should mention that we have never met and they would not know me, (J. Warner might because I am a Detective as well and we have talked before) but we both wrote chapters in a book about sharing the gospel with Mormons. I was Mormon for 38 years before coming to the Lord. I am now a Pastor and getting my MA in Apologetics. Good content Melissa.
"I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist" changed my life. Simply put, it answered questions I couldn't get satisfactory answers for anywhere else.
Great stuff Melissa! I stumbled upon your channel just a day ago and I loved what you said and how you said it, it instantly perked my ears. I've been searching for God believers and was on the verge of giving up! No churches in my area that teaches the word correctly and from the heart.
Last night I stumbled upon Allen Parr, and now you put him on your list! Going on my 2nd day checking your page and PRAISE GOD! HE has opened doors for me so I can be feed with real Gospel believers.
Have a blessed day and thank you for your hard work you do getting this out.
Melissa, So many times that I have watched your channel, I am just so in awe of Jesus. Thank you for being a lover of the Gospel and a lover of souls. I am pausing to pray for you right now and for your wonderful ministry as well your children as you teach them about Christ and the schemes of this world. I pray for their little hearts to draw near to God as he draws near to them.
Love you and continue to behold your God sister xoxo!!
Allen Parr is one of my favorite brothers in Christ. He is full of knowledge, is an excellent teacher who doesn't sugar coat much of anything. No new age feel good with him even though he has a fun and quick-witted personality. I like how he always uses Bible scriptures (in context might I add) and stories from the Bible to back up everything he says. His videos challenge me to be a better Christian and to stay focused on the word of God. May God continue to bless him and family. You are also great too! May God bless you and your family too. ❤✝️🕊😊
Yes! I thank the Lord for this brother in Christ. I've learned so much of the word from his ministry. Glory to God sis😀
Listen to joe sweet, David pawson Leonard ravenhill. David wilkerson. Michael chriswell. They have such a intimite walk that few have.
Great list Melissa! Mike Winger (currently following the Romans series, awesome!) and J. Warner Wallace are on my list as well. Talking about apologetics I admire, Voddie Baucham is also great to listen to.
I've listened to four or five of these resourceful persons especially to Mike Winger, Ravi, and Wallace!
Also, from today to Alisa Childers.
I had listened to you before, however, since last night I'm glued to your channel!
My God bless you all and also those who would watch and listen to your videos, interviews, debates, podcasts, etc!
I've been listening to you for just a few days, saw you talking with Mike Winger about the Passion Bible. Now I'm subscribed to your youtube channel. I don't subscribe to religious themed channels unless I know the one I'm listening to is sound in their Biblical doctrine. I've found several people due to either being on a person's channel that I trust or a top ten list of good speakers, teachers, or preachers. A few of them I noticed are in your list. Thank you for pointing out a couple of new channels for me to check out.
So glad I found you and Doreen you’re both incredible women of Faith. Thank you for this list.
I'm familiar with most of these people! Paul Washer is my favorite man of God. I love apologetics! I wish most Christians would get into apologetics, and I don't really understand why they don't. It's so fascinating how much we can know! Thanks so much for sharing. I'm gonna check out the ones I haven't heard of.
Great video sister. I’m so glad God led me to your channel, I have enjoyed the content. Interestingly, I actually found your channel through your collaboration with Mike Winger. That’s the first time I saw anything you’ve done. And I’m really enjoying it. Thank you for making this list, I’m gonna go check some of these out that I haven’t heard of before.
Loved to hear your list. Excellent. Thank you!
Hi Sister Melissa 👋🏾
Keep up the blessed work for our God and King, Jesus.
a great black preacher to add to the list is Voddie Baucham
Whaddo You Meme?? Is another good channel.
Yes!
I love listening to Mike and Allen, as well as you. Thank you for pointing me to a couple of others so I can talk to my kids.
I have learned so much from your channel and those you have recommended and I thank you for being such a blessing in my life, and such an inspiration to really dig down and study the Word !! Shalom and may G-d continue to bless you always!!
My top 10:

What about zach poonan
Nice list, Vodie Baucham Jr. I enjoy as well.
I have just started watching your youtube channel and I love what you teach. I have been a Christian for 31 years and wow what a journey it has been. The one thing that I am zealous about is correct interpretation of the Bible and scripture in context. Over the last 31 years I have seen a decrease in the knowledge of the word. People are not reading their bible in whole or entirety anymore. They know scriptures but not the bible. This then causes a lack of discernment. It is so wonderful to listen to your teachings and understandings that are done in love. You are very grounded in the Word. Bless you.
I have been involved in apologetics for many years. All your picks are great and I agreed. Before you tube and the internet I attended many apologetics conferences and did workshops at some. I met Ravi and read a number of his books. Heard him speak many times. He did a lot of good and still does with what he left behind. I had a couple of concerns about him. First, was how he compromised his beliefs at the Mormon conference a while back. I know he was being nice to them. I talked with a number of Mormons shortly after it occurred who used what he said to show we believed in the same Jesus. The second problem I had was when he was on TV with Joyce Meyer and told her she was the greatest Bible teacher of our times. I still use his material and listen to him. I love your channel and listen to it often. I am part of an apologetics ministry in the Denver, Colorado called Haven Ministries. I also bought your book. Many of the names you mentioned I have met over the years. I really
Like some of the joint interviews you have done with Doreen Virture.
JD Farag
Amir Tafari (sp?)
Don Stewert
Jack Hibbs
Tom Hughs
Ralph Arnold
Andy Woods
Brandon Holthaus
I like these because they bring a cutting edge message on:
Virus, Mask, Vaccine, RFID, Ezek 38/39, Isa 17, 7yr trib, pre-7yr trib harpazo, etc.
Definitely
Cj nav - Jack Hibbs is my Pastor! Went to Israel with Amir Tsarfati and JD Farag and agree wholeheartedly with your list!
Melissa thank you for your list. Some of these I had not heard of and will check them out!
Thank you for educating people on real Christianity. I am very thankful to be part of a church that has expository teaching. Pastor Jack Hibbs in Chino Hills CA is amazing. I also listen to the people you have mentioned.
I can't wait to check out your list! Ty
Thank you for sharing this list! I really appreciate all of your videos.
I love Dr Charles Stanley too. So truthful, no show & BS...can listen to him any day🥰He asks for ZERO money but gets all he needs. Love Allen Parr too. Thanks!
Derek Prince, a true man of God, fantastic teacher of the Bible, I listen to him every day ❤🙏
@@eastwood111 Yes!! I have experienced the same. My whole life has changed ❤🙏 So grateful. God bless you too 🙏
Some apologetics say that derec prince in not good teacher his theology is Weird ? Ask Hank hanagraft from the CRI institute.
Yes, I listen to him most days too. He was a great teacher.
Melissa, I’m so glad I found you. All of my favs are on your list and a few I never heard of, can’t wait ti check them out! I’ll be completely honest, I typically don’t enjoy listening to women teach or preach. Not sure why, just personal preference.....untillll I came across you! Love listening to you. I was searching for info on the TPT translation and found your interview with Mike Winger. I noticed my pastor started showing scripture on the screen from TPT and wanted to know what it was, so glad I found out. I would be really interested in hearing your thoughts about Dr Andrew Farley and Tim Mackie, 2 if my favs.
Great list. New names here for me to listen to. Thank you. Blessings to you and yours.
The best teachers I know today are John MacArthur, RC Sproul, Steven J Lawson, Conrad Mbewe, etc.
R.C. Sproul and John MacArthur are top on the bill.
Reformers, I completely agree that’s my list as well.
RC Sproul was a phenomenal teacher and apologist.
Love John MacArthur. I have been listening to him and reading his books for close to 40 years.
My former pastor went to Talbot Theological Seminary with John MacArthur.
Awesome! Frank Turek and J Warner Wallace were two men who helped develop my faith when I came back to Christ after a long falling away. The other teachers on your list I also have a huge appreciation for including Mike Winger and Allen Parr! My list would also include Ray Comfort. God bless your ministry !
Right there with you! Dr. Turek has been my intro to apologetics. Been studying him for a couple of months. Just discovered Ray Comfort. I love his street evangelism. Lookin to study some others
I love the list, I thought I had the wrong count in my list I had to go back to listen what happened is you jumped from 3 to 5. Thank you so much for this list 💜
So many that you mentioned in this video are also my favourite teachers/pastors/apologists. I will check out the other Ressources you mentioned😍❤ God bless you. Love your videos❤
I love Allen Parr, I have been listening to him for years, I also like J Warner Wallace. I will look into these other ones you recommended as well! Thank you so much for your input!
For me, it's Paul Washer, John MacArthur, Voddie Bauchem, and John Barnett. Thanks for sharing so much of your walk with us!
Great list. I knew of 5 of them, lovely to have more and your assessment of them.
Thank you for sharing these great resources. I was already tuned into Allen Parr's channel and therefore got tipped off to your channel by watching his interview with you. Keep up the great work - God's work!
Another apologist that I believe would be a good fit is Dr. Jason Lisle. It's hard to find him because an old man by the same name. So, a book that would help find him would be: Creation Basics and Beyond.

You made a good list. I love it. Pastor Mike Winger is my daily food for now. His theological approach resonates with me the most. Maybe not so much in the subject of tongues but I loooove the man yoooh (forgive me I'm South African🤗)
Nice to see a fellow South African in the comments 👊🏾🇿🇦
Hello homies!!
The most humble and best teacher I have heard is brother Zac Poonen...endless wisdom and a real blessing...a must on any list...but the best is reading the WORD and to find all the truths and to obey...Amen
This is great and I really appreciate you taking the time!
I appreciate this list. I need this to relate to my younger Christian Brothers. As a 65 year old, I get convinced by the teachings of Tozer, Kempis, Chambers and Spurgeon. Maybe, a reflection of an age gap. I’m definitely sharing Natasha Crain to my Daughters to use with our G-kids.
Allen Parr is awesome.
YES!!! PARR is EXCELLENT!!! Just watched him 20mins ago, as I do frequently.
Some of them you mentioned I've never heard before so I am so excited to dive in! YES! I am definitely becoming a theology nerd lately and I respect your opinion so I am so excited! There are 3 you mentioned that I do know and love which is Allen Parr, Ravi, and Paul Washer. I literally was watching the shocking youth message at like 1 in the morning the other night and my spirit got excited. That man did not hold back any truth but he was also so genuine. Really blew me away! Another guy that I love watching on youtube he might be a little unconventional but his heart for the Lord is in the right place is Marcus Rodgers. I also really liked the book Letters to the Church by Francis Chan. Similiar to American Gospel but really opened my eyes of what the gospel says the church should look like. Thank you for this video!
This list is absolutely amazing.. You rock Melissa.. God bless you for your passion for Christ and for getting sources out for us to read, watch or listen to.. Keep it up girl
Great list Love it ! I would include a few pastors : Swindoll, jeremiah, Stanley sr. and Andy Dr R C Sproul
I have learned so much from Pastor David Jeremiah, so glad you would include him 😊 I love his Bible study series compared to other “light” women’s Bible studies that are available
I love Allen Parr from the Beat. He helped me when I was going through a spiritual burnout.
Melissa - Sweet! Thank you for this list. I thought that I knew alot about apologetics, but somehow I had not heard of several of these guys. I am excited to read their books and share them with my kids. God bless you :-)
Thank you so much for this list I’m loving it !!!
Derek Prince was a great teacher, lots of biblical teachings here on CZcams by him.
I'm learning a lot from him
Great list! As a older Christian, some of the people I grew up listening to are not on this list. But I love Dr. James White and Paul Washer. Well done, Melissa!
😀 Thanks Melissa. April 2021, viewing this for the first time. Perfect timing!
Just started watching Allen Jackson Ministries (on YT and from Murfreesboro , TN) a few weeks ago and am liking what I’m hearing so far. He’s not afraid to be blunt and own up to mistakes we as a church and he as a pastor have made over the years. There’s also no sugar coating the reality of being a believer especially in our time but he gives sound advice based on scripture on how to keep moving forward and not backslide.
Melissa, how about John MacArthur, Steve Lawson, R.C. Sproul, Paul Washer or Alistair Begg?
LOVE all of them - but they're Reformed. She did mention Paul Washer, though.
YES
Yes, all of the above Katarina... Melissa's list is Melissa's list... Chuck Missler is excellent as well.
They’re all calvinists right?
Alistair Begg is terrific.
Love love John Lennox, shows that intelligence and mathematics and understandings of the universe, and theology can go hand in hand
Has Science Buried God is a great book.
I was following a lot of new age oneness stuff for 15 years then I came across Mike Winger and Paul Washer while researching bethel church and everything changed. Thanks for the list I am a subscriber now. REALLY grateful to God!!
What a terrific list. Thank you so much for enhancing my knowledge base. Keep up the great work
My list is simple. I prefer one, the Holy Ghost. He testifies of Jesus and reveals all things. When I read the Bible, I only read to know God, Jesus Christ and the ways of God that I may live and share only his truths. God bless.
C.S. Lewis was my intro to the very idea of apologetics.
Thanks so much for this list! This is so helpful for me!!
Many thanks. Have heard of some, but will check each one out.
I love watching and listening to John MacArthur, my all time favorite pastor.
Im sure everyone has a different list as you said and im no different my favorites are
Chuck smith
Chuck missler
Jack hibbs
Amir tasfati
I enjoy your show🙏🏼
Thank you for this Melissa. I’ve been thinking of ways to locate good sources of information lately. Found your channel and then boom, this video pops up. I’m totally binging on your channel by the way. Good stuff. Thanks for your efforts. 👍🏻🙏🏻
I am so Thankful for finding your channel, you have helped me find answers to so many questions which have never been answered before. I also have Cancer so am always needing support from those around. Any words you would have to help me are much appreciated and welcomed.
My favorite ministries are Ligonier with RC Sproul, Thru the Bible with J Vernon McGee, DTBM with John Barnett, VBVMI with Stephen Armstrong, One For Israel, Voice of the Martyrs, and sometimes i watch Ray Comfort. I used to listen to Ravi alot, i very much enjoy hearing Michael Ramsden who took over RZIM. Sometimes i listen to J Mac. Gary Habernas is also a noteworthy apologist.
So good!!
See what I mean?! I easily could have made this list twice as long 😆
@@elizabethaustin9280 One for Israel is a Christian chanel for apologetics in Israel. I've listen to some of their videos and the testimonies of Israelis and Arabs coming to Christ are so beautiful. I recommend you listen as well and make an idea about what they do...
@@roxi-m One for Isreal is an amazing ministry! They are reaching both Jews and Arabs with the gospel
Awesome additions. Sy Garte is a lesser known, but very impressive speaker and author on the subject of Apologetics. He's a biochemist who worked for NIH and used to be a staunch atheist.
Yay, Mike Winger!!! He's probably my favorite!!!
Such a great list and awesome book referrals. Thank you so much for sharing this! I'll be sure to check out those I haven't heard of. God bless 🙏✝️🙏
Great list. I Love everyone at RZIM, especially Ravi (pronounced Rah-vee), Michael Ramsden, and Vince Vitale. Lee Strobel started my Christian Apologetics walk. He's awesome. Hugh Ross and several others are brilliant too,, even though I sometimes have to rewind their last statement and hear it again to more thoroughly get it. I've come a long way. I pray that others find these speakers and authors to strengthen their faith, or to become convinced that the Gospel is True. BTW, got my copy of Tactics today.
