Installing lexan windows to fit like original 👌

Chris made his own windows from 1/8th inch thick lexan and used brake line to secure the window and curve it to the car like the original glass curved in 1971 👍

I've done a lot of work with Lexan. you can heat it, lay it on something while warm and floppy and let it cool to that shape. If you use hot air guns its a delicate line between melting and scorching but you can get good at that too with a little practice. Lexan isnt especially cheap but It does work well in alot of circumstances. It'll only last 2-3 years in a car I suppose. It bakes and dry rots like all plastic. It might get soft and squishy if left in very hot sun all closed up...lol

I'm sure you remember his old windows lmao. You couldn't even see through them but they sat outdoors for over a decade. We will change these out when we need to, a lot lighter than glass. We plan on building our snake a larger enclosure with lexan. They're so expensive to purchase and we can make our own alot cheaper and any size we want.
