Empowering Teenage Citizens - Martin O'Neill

Should young citizens have more of a say in the kind of society we live in and how we are ruled? Have young people been failed by a system that is rigged to favour the interests of older generations?
Professor Martin O’Neill of the University of York argues that we need radical action to address these injustices by revolutionising democracy, empowering teenage citizens by lowering the voting age all the way to 12 (not just to 16 as is more often suggested).
