This nan carachter reminds me of my own, she was just so funny and inappropriate 🤣😂 She lived in to her 90s and really was the matriarch of our huge family. She used to actually hit my dad sometimes and call him you great useless article 🤣🤣🤣 but we knew she loved us more than anything, if any of us was ill nan always got on a bus to come and look after us. It was nan that taught us all the best swear words and she was just so funny, we were doing some homework one day about Sherlock Holmes and we heard her in the back ground swearing you won't get me in a effing block of flats🤣🤣🤣She thought it was somewhere to live. That night she had to get the bus back across town in winter. It was getting dark when she got home and was mugged by two guys as she got off the bus. They grabbed her and swung her round by her bag but she wouldnt let go they just pushed her over took her purse and just left her there in the snow.Oh nan we don't half miss you🤣🤎🤎🤎🤣

People have explained the 'family of lookers' comment, but to be clear, to my knowledge 'family of lookers' isn't an expression. It's just that 'looker' means good looking. So if I said _'you're a bit of a looker Ash'_ you can take it as a compliment!

To my gran a pound was too much. She always kicked up a fuss when her brother-in-law gave me and my brothers a pound each. I think he only did it just to get a reaction out of her xD

at one point, the British government set up work schemes where the long term unemployed would have to work X amount of hours for free in Poundland or they wouldn't get their benefit. so we use to go in there and like Nan, we would ask the price of things. when they replied that everything is worth a pound. we would say .... your not. lol
