- In this video, the rebuilding process continues and we are replacing bad axle in the rear differential. As well, rebuilding the rear end to proof us for the future. All parts are Ford or Ford racing OEM to the vehicle spec.

I had a pretty obvious leak on my Mustang too but it’s actually coming from the vent. Ford makes a kit to relocate the vent higher and prevent leaks
I need to buy that and still need to pressure wash the diff.
@@AmelsGarageI got it recently and maybe I’m just being dumb but it does not want to stay latched to the top of the diff cover, it comes off and hangs lower than the axel tubes and still leaks out of it, I’ll probably JB weld that mf on there or something
Great video. I been doing this job in my new edge. You did a great job on that. May I ask how many splines was that axle?
It’s 31 splines and axle is beefier than new edge one.
