I always use it myself. Let me know if you have any questions about their service.
Thanks. I have checked them out. I didn't even realise this sort of service existed!
To those at the Beaulieu Simply Porsche event who chatted with me about the car, or talked to me about their own cars, thanks very much for your time and great to see you!
More content coming soon on this special car, probably when I go to the next Porsche event in it!
Nurburgring! 😁
Glad to see you really enjoying the car! So rare. Never seen one in the flesh!
I had only seen one. Was a car at a neighbour's home back in the 80s. Never forgot it as it looked mad at the time!
@@RevMonkey I also want to see!!
I forgot it had popup headlights. Well cool. 😎
Yeah, I always forget as I never drive it in the dark.
I wonder how many people know what the car is. As you say, it clearly looks different and special but most people, even car enthusiasts, would have no idea at all.
Very, very few petrolheads even would know what it is. So very rare now.
I love this car. Looks so mean from most angles. Black really suits it.
Agreed!
I saw this at the Porsche show at Beaulieu at the weekend. Thought I would pop by and say hello. I had that blue RS. 🖐
Cool. It was a really good show. More Porsche events to come!
@@RevMonkey great!
The car needs more of a bark like your Emira, Ade! Surprised you have not tinkered with the exhaust yet. 😀😃
Ha, I have thought about it. There must be a way to make it sound epic too.
Beautiful car! One of my favourite Porsches.
Mine too!
This and a 993 Turbo and the CLK Ade had in his last auction video. Like the 959 too.
I;d rather have your Lancia but, from the front, this looks the mutts nuts. In fact, I;d say it is THE best looking front on any Porsche, like ever.
Thanks Dan. I think you have a point actually. Amazing front.
Super shiny car in the thumbnail and at the end. Looks fab mate. 👌
Thanks. Yeah, it does look very nice to be fair.
@@RevMonkey Welcome!!
How many do you reckon are actually in the UK now then? I don't even see these at sports car events.
No real way to get that figure. Some of the original 75 would have now ended up abroad. Most will be off the road. I would guestimate about 25?
How do you compare it to your integrale in how it drives and feels?
Had to think on this one. Not driven either for a week or so now.
There are some similarities. Feel wise, physically, the integrale seems tighter and more modern. Feel wise, mentally, they are both great for my ego as I know how rare and special they are , just that more people know the integrale is special.
I do love your integrale but this looks almost as good. Which one do you think is the better long term investment Ade?
For sure, this one. The Porsche. Much rarer and at some point I reckon it will jump up in price.
Thanks, enjoyed the driving review. Overall, would you say it is worth the outlay for one? I am looking out for cars that should at least hold value. Quattro, 911s, R8, etc.
I believe, in the long run, due to this car's particular story that it 'should' outperform the others mentioned.
A 911 GT model is relatively safe.
A manual R8 Spider V10 is a good buy.
I would also add in a Lotus Elise, a Clio V6 and and Alfa SZ.
Once you go black you never go back. 😁
Well, if only it would stay clean!
The problem with this car is that you can get a decent GT4 or several decent 911s for the same price.
Yeah, you are not wrong. If somebody is just a Porsche fan then there are many sensible options out there. You would have to like the specialness and rarity of this to make the jump.
@@RevMonkey I would go for Porsche
Does it feel fast compared to modern cars?
Only when you are on it at the higher revs. It always feels special though!
@@RevMonkey Great to know!
What are the differences between your car and a normal 924 Turbo?
Blimey. I don't actually know! 😄
I bought this one as it is special, rare and looks the nuts with the flared arches.
I believe it is basically the same car.
What do you perceive the running costs to be for this Porsche. Anything particular to be looking out for?
Too early to tell. They seem particularly well made and robust. I will keep everyone up to date on issues.
@@RevMonkey Will wait for the update
What tyres is the car currently running? Just wondering if it is really worth the expense to get some Pilots.
No idea, but they look old! Probably not really worth it unless I decide to really start driving the car in anger or go on the track with it.
The car looks like it has decent space in the back but you say it sont fit 4 people in it? Do the seats go forward in the back to add more luggage space?
You mean fold forward? No idea. I have never looked at them or opened the boot.
Two chlidren can get in there. Perhaps a little more space than a 911.
Well old car there. Is everything actually working? I have a fear of buying cars even before 2010! 😊
Ha. Mostly. There will always be some niggles but generally speaking it runs really well and remarkably well built as there are no rattles or squeaks.
The older cars are at least easy to work on.
@@RevMonkey yes you are right!!
You are clearly happy driving the car dude. Does it get much attention?
Well, it did at the show that the thumbnail is from but generally not. Doesn't help that it is black I guess. Gets 10% of the attention of my Lotus Emira.
