Tim continues to explore his never ending collection of unusual pens and writing instruments...
A very smart pen from the German company LAMY. Like many more formal pens, it has a clip to hold it in place, when you put it in your top pocket. But when you push the button at the end of the pen to make the writing nib appear, the clip retracts into the pen. I guess this is to make it easier to hold in the hand. Very elegant and a lovely piece of engineering!
A pineapple at the top of the pen - press the button and a face pops up!
A pen with letters that can be rearranged to form different words.
A can of beer is attached to the top of this pen; when you press the button to make the nib appear, the beer can seems to do a little dance or jig.
A Japanese pen with a sumo wrestler with a pop up mechanism.
A pen from New York with little eyes at the end.
At the top of this pen is a cooking pot with a fire underneath. Press the button and up pops - someone inside the pot. Will they be lunch?
A battery powered pen with coloured LEDs inside, which give you a little light show.

My favourite thing about Tim's collection is that they're not being kept locked up or for display only, they're actually being used and played with, as intended!
I found him randomly I used to watch him when i was small now im 16 now im worried since Lynja and many more old people died on youtube it makes me worried even more hes old now I'll miss him if he does die all I know is he will die soon too which makes me sad

You gotta enjoy the good times, treat the people around you kindly, and try to make your life and the world around you a bit better while you're here. If you spend your whole life worrying about death you won't have time to do anything else, so try to not focus too much on that.

Nothing makes me more happy than seeing this man doing what he loves.
I think the most important aspect of the design of the first pen is that you cannot accidentally put the pen away clipped to your pocket with the end out, or catch it and stick the end out while it's clipped on thus preventing inky streaks inside your shirt pocket

Great! I love instruments of scripture, me. Particularly taken with the retractable clip one. At the risk of seeming pen-icketty, I agree that the clip might even occasion such a tragedy as the loss of a nice metaphor or such.. No probs with Tim's one though!
