found solution in the houdini forums:
1. Add material to mesh fbx.
2. Add mesh fbx to sequencer.
In Sequencer on your Mesh;
3. Add StaticMeshComponent.
4. Add Material Parameters: Element 0.
5. Add Parameter: Display Frame.
6. Make Keyframes.
I am getting some error about whatever "smoothing groups" are...it's not working at all.
did you resolve this issue?
I am getting a warning in Vertex animation texture node is "Rigid-Body Dynamics (Rigid) mode expects packed primitives. (There should be one packed primitive per piece. Make sure the whole geometry is not packed as a single primitive.) One or more unexpected primitive types are found on the input geometry. " I am not sure how to fix it, Please help!
Use a pack node after your simulation
This dosnt work with apprentice version.
