Make sure to put plumbers tape on clockwise NOT counterclockwise
Yes, great video; only thing Id different is put plumber's tape on the filter's threads prior to installing shower head holder (see 6:29).

Can the filter be screw in the other way? My shower head setup is setup that the water inlet opening is female, so I'll need a male type screw into the shower arm.
Do we need to change the thing inside when it gets dirty !? Or no need !?

Hi there. I have pretty much the exact same set up as you as well as the Sprite filter. We’ve replaced several of the filters over the years but this last one is leaking like crazy out of the area where the cutout for the adjustable date setting is. We’ve checked the rings, used plumbers tape, Vaseline, etc. And it still leaks. Bought a whole new filter and casing and that one leaks from the same spot. Any ideas on what is going wrong?

The instructions say to put the dial-a-date onto the month you actually install the filter so you know how long it's been. They are 6 month filters.

Accrual World I had the same problem! Im hesitant on trying to remove the shower head myself. I didn’t want to be stuck with a broken shower head or a leaking pipe. Please let me know if you find out more info... tools used, ticks, etc. Thanks!
Can’t change date.
This is a great idea but the product is AWFUUUUL. Im about to take my 4th one back to Lowes due to cracks and leaks. Absolute cheap material and definitely will not last you. Save yourself the hassle and skip this company. Btw all the parts are indeed plastic. Ive taken back the shower with the filter in the nozel twice and now I will be taking back the one in this video for the second time. RUN!!!

Hey! I had an issue with the back leaking. I unscrewed the part that reveals the filter and lined the grooves with a layer of plumbers tape... no leaks!

The fact thay this video is over 7 minutes, when i just watched a simple, less than 2 minute video for the same instructions, is insane to me. Tells me youtube is encouraging long videos. Cause this is unnecessary. Get to the point!

Yes because due to pressure build up it is hell unscrewing these things to replace the filter. Good question. No one seems to want to address this issue.
No, you gotta show us how to get it apart. That's the reason I watched this video, because somebody was careless and tossed the instructions.
