Installed the Carven Muffler on my 2019 Rebel yesterday. I'm very happy with the sound. Nice and aggressive when you're in the throttle but quiet when cruising. I own a small 4x4 shop and will recommend Carven to my customers.

Glad to finally get this for the 2019!! Before I grab the tips... (pause for laughter) I want to hear with/without carven tips. $179 for tips that look very similar,, I want to hear some clear variation before i pull the trigger. Thanks!!
Bradley Stepp I have the tips. Yeah, they look nice but for $200? Not really worth it.
It's how they last and easy hook up legit if you know tools it's a 10 min yard fix they last I'm 3 yrs on them NC to Wisconsin back to NC salt mud salt mud just rinse them at carwash and they last longer than other weld or bolt on tips
Tips will fill in the bumper void as well as give you the aggressive appearance wont change tone.
Very nice install and sound clip! This Spring I'll be graduating college and fortunately, I have been offered a lucrative position with a local investment bank and I intend to buy one of these once I graduate. I already picked out a 2-Inch leveling kit, a K&N Cold Air Intake, Black Rhino Warlord Wheels, and this is definitely the exhaust I want for my truck.

Okay I installed my Carven muffler. Identical to the one in the video minus the tips about a month ago on my 2019 Ram Rebel. Love it. But it absolutely has Drone in eco mode... bad.

@@CarvenExhaust In ECO I do, very noticeable. Loudest in town a low MPH
In standard V8 it is quite with just enough rumble.
My stock resonators are still on at the ends andy yes my truck is bone stock other then the Carven cut in
With your gear selector on the steering wheel press the minus sign then the plus sign until you hit 8 and it shuts the mds off.
my clamps have a small weld holding them together.. i expected it to be how it was in the video unbolting the clamps and remounting the carven tips

I have a 2022 1500, I really want to order this. 2022 doesn’t have a resonator before the muffler from what I have seen, is there a resonator y’all would recommend to get rid of any drone in eco mode? I’ve read so many comments about in cab drone at 16-1800 rpm when mds kicks in.

Just installed the same kit on my 22’ Rebel. However, it doesn’t sound as aggressive as this though. No cab drone either which is a good thing. But I definitely don’t have the cracking sound

I have a 2020 ram lonestar ...with air suspension.. and need someones cut off right side tail pipe and exit muffler... mine rusted and lost tail pipe..
I love how mine sounds. Only issue I have is I kept the factory tips and after the install the right tip sticks out about 3/4” and the left is flush with the bumper.

From previous customers they all have stated they have gained HP after they did a dyno test.
Yeah man there are usually minimal gains from muffler work that doesn't involve the headers or catalytic converters. Usually mufflers or deleted add about maybe a couple horses and like max 5 lbs torque. That's what I saw on my 1500 from cutting off the big round muffler in the middle

Does this truck have the 8 speed transmission? I'm curious how this exhaust will sound with the 8 speed transmission and switching from 1 to 8 in a rather quick fashion. I'm so used to the 6 speed
The transmission doesn't sound any different inside the gear it keeps the rpms like a 4 5 and 6 speed if your floored it's the mds on all these new trucks that adds the new sound and drone these 8cyl dropping to 4 and 6s but all Rams 1500s are 8 speeds now some have etorq with mds

No We have had our kit on for months and every time we rev it you stilll hear pops. I love RAM for what they did because these new rams with our kits sound so mean and clean!

Any drone? How would this compare to the flowmaster outlaw direct fit?
One thing we love about RAMs is no drone Especially going with the cut and clamp instead of the full cat back kit because you will still have your rear resonators.
If I buy just the Carven R-performance muffler itself. Will it sound the same with the direct fit for 2019 RAM rebel on the video?
It will sound fairly close to it but not exactly. If you DM a message on Instagram @carvenexhaust I will send you a video on how it will sound with just the R series performance muffler.
How about a high flow kit that is as quiet as the factory system. I don't want my $70,000 Laramie Longhorn to be loud. I want it to breath better and make more power without sounding like junk!

All these exhaust kits say not for classic model. Does that mean the 6 cylinder, of the hemi big horn as well?
If it's a Classic it will not fit your vehicle.
Is there any hissing noise from the weep holes in the resonators because of the excess airflow?
No.
Yes there is. There's plenty of posts in Ram forums about that and I had it on my truck as well. Most folks banged those weep holes back in or had them tack welded.

The 2019 Full cat-back kit will be release by November unfortunately we took the kit down to enhanced a few pipings to make it a lot more easy for a customer to install at home.

How does the competitor series compare to a muffler delete?
Muffler delete sound raspy and our competitor kit will give you the clean aggressive note.
I'm assuming this same setup would work on my 2019 Ram Warlock?
As long as its a 2019-2020 RAM 1500 it will work fine.
For the warlock you would have to get the 2009-2018 Carven Competitor exhaust the parts are compatible.
I had the progressive series on my 17 Ram. Do you guys make that series tor my 19??

Just picked up my 2019 Ram Rebel! Would love to do this install. But now with having to cut, will this void my warranty? I leased my new truck.
It will not void the warranty but what I highly recommend is to keep your gem muffler when you switch it out so when your lease is up you can just place the old(oem) muffler back in so you won't lose the Cut and Clamp.

Was MDS engaged during your cruising clips?
I doubt it. That's a tiny muffler so I'm sure you still hear the 4 cyl mode. I have a decent-sized Borla muffler (with full cat-back) on mine and I can still hear it. I have a video on my channel if you're interested.

No resonators on the Borla kit. You do still hear it, and more than stock, but it's not unbearable. I had a glass pack in place of the muffler on my 2012 Ram and it literally sounded like a helicopter landing on the roof. I think most of the 4 cyl noise will depend on your muffler. The resonators just help a little with drone, but since they are way back by the tailgate, I don't feel like they do all that much for you in the cab. You can do a few tricks to disable your 4 cyl mode if you wanted as well. I have a video on that plus the full Borla video.

I was very interested in this kit till i saw you guys charge 170$ for the tips alone. Thats crazy. I can almost get an entire catback for 500$
Tips last longer unless you run just a huge piece of exhaust or constantly pull ur tip and respray it with engine enamel ECT had the tips NC mountains Wisconsin new England and coastline NC 3 years if you rinse them at carwash like I do they look new still....my only complaint is the don't have a entire catback 3 or 3.5 to 5 inch tips system for 500 or 700$
A 500$ kit sounds nice but I can tell you right off the back that kit you are taking about will rust in less then a year.

Just a straight muffler delete will give you an untamed sound. drone in cab. overall not great for travels on the highway.

Just installed this last weekend. Nice set up but sounds nothing like these sound clip. Much quieter and no where near the sound of FM Outlaw.
What Model Truck do you have? Ours is a 2019 RAM Rebel 1500 E-torqued Model Each Model will sound different a base model 2019-2020 RAM 1500 probably wont sound like the RAM Rebel.

Just put this on my Limited and I have to say I'm not impressed with the sound. Tips are nice and I will keep them but I'm back to the drawing board for the muffler.

Just too loud and raspy. Swapped out to magnaflow and it’s got that low rumble I wanted.
Put stainless packing in there, that shit y’all got in there is going to burn out in a year and sound like 💩. That’s why I stick with Flowmaster, no packing to burn out, no (Stamp & Spot Welded baffle ) to rattle loose, no thin shitty welds that crack. Been there done that got the T-Shirt.
Flowmaster & Corsa best quality exhaust money can buy. All you other companies doin the same run of the mill bullshh. Not everyone on the internet is a fool with the marketing CRAP.
@@bobbrown9035 which magnaflow did you get? i got this on my rebel 2020 now and when i drove it earlier on a 2 hour freeway cruising around at 65, 75, 80-85 miles per hour i can hear the raspy sound, and im use to the rumble noise i had on my mustang with a flowmaster and borla with my evo final editon, im thinking to get the borla touring or the mopar catback i heard them with those rumble tone

Which is why we have a Full Bolt on Cat-=Back Exhaust System that removes the resonators ;). This option is for customers that want to keep there resonators and not be too loud.
