- Hello and welcome to the Severn Valley Railway for their annual Spring Diesel Gala, all filmed from the beautiful station of Bewdley. There was so much traction here for the event and the amount of people that came here was amazing to see.

Hi Tornado922. Great Spring Diesel Gala at Bewdley. Looking forward to the next gala, whenever it is. Kind regards, Chris.
Fantastic video again mate the 31 you captured on camera was very good I’ve not been to Severn valley railway in a while but it is a nice heritage route
it's a great line to come to
My favourite
Great video it was nice meeting you at bewdley that day
Thanks very much, it was great to meet you too!
A really enjoyable half an hour, some loco's I had seen in either green or BR blue, would have liked a 31 in Green, but cannot have every thing. Loved the noisy class 37 & 20's. A fun gala for diesel fans.
they always have a great selection on for their galas
Twas a bloody brilliant gala, was a pleasure to meet ya again
It certainly was. Was great to see you again too
It was a great gala and great meeting you at Bewdley

Thanks very much, it was great to meet you too
Man I love the sound of the 37s buddy
They do sound amazing
Great diseal gala
They always put on a great show here
Another great video, I presume the HST isn't a Valenta? 15:05 really is a treat. I'm old enough to have seen one of those in operation, but never did 😞
Nice video especially the skin head 31. Miss those liveries along the west coast to the holidays to the seaside. Favourite one 455 Our Eli. As a suggestion try a trains at for a our or two Preston. See a few freight northern transpennine advanti and freight along it.
This is always a great line to come to, they always put on a tremendous show. I will be going to Preston at some stage this year
Great railway video mate
Thank you kindly
Great video
Thanks very much Paul
Excellent video and great footage of the variety of diesel trains at the gala. 😀
Thanks very much bud!
That looks so cool! 😀
I'm glad you think so!
@Tornado922 you should have come to Highley There was Tones Galor and I was at that Station we could have met
I'll be sure to give that a look next time I'm there
I wasn't available to come but it must have been fun nonetheless! I am not that much of a fanatic of Heritage railways, but I enjoy the occasional visit to 1 or 2! Great vid
I can highly recommend this line if you get the chance
Great stuff do you remember me from the gala?
Yes
I certainly do
The HST is bound for Brighton. All I can say is that the HST wanted to do a detour and go to the coast instead? 😅😅
It's got a long way to go if it wants to get to Brighton haha
I would think the answer to the question of why Brighton on the HST is because since they’re on a heritage railroad, there’s no GSM our coding
It would be rather amusing if they added the stops on the SVR onto the boards
to torndo, when i watch this severn vallery gala 23. first it was great to see, the only thing i could nod understand was the line by you was not used at all. can you tell me why if you can please?.
I'm not to sure why they weren't using the platform that I was on. They usually have it for the local shuttle services
I was here on the Sunday. I think I prefer Kidderminster. Shame the 58 couldn’t make it.
Kidderminster is a great station on the SVR for sure, but I think for all round views Bewdley is probably best for that. I hope you had a great time there, I think everyone was gutted that the 58 couldn't arrive.
Hey Tornado I made a video for you.
Have you?
@@Tornado922 yes
The names haven't been put into the description box actually! The Rail Adventure HST power cars did run in the event but not during your time here at least. That HST set sure would have had a long way to get to Brighton! If you were inside, you would have heard the voice announcements on the destinations it was heading to that weren't actually for real because it was on a different line entirely!
I forgot to put the names of the trains in the description when I was putting this together
