  • More efficient model for original perpetual motion Idea. The compressed spring pushes the steel ball upward using the potential energy stored in the spring. The way down is twice as long as the way up. This is enough to store the required amount of energy to re-compress the spring.

The spring is pushed down from and external source. It works, as any energy supplied system does. 😀

      🔴 What Is Islam? ⚠️
🔴 Islam is not just another religion.
🔵 It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham.
🔴 Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God.
🔵 It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone.
🔴 It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine.
🌍 The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as:
📖 { “Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.”} (Quran 112:1-4)[4] 📚
🔴 Becoming a Muslim is not turning your back to Jesus.
🔵 Rather it’s going back to the original teachings of Jesus and obeying him.

@@veproject1 I did, but keep in mind, PE = m*g*h. The mass is small, gravity is constant, and the height is the same for both path 1 and path 2. If anything, path 2 has less energy due to friction, so there's no way it could move the spring on it's own. That, and you can see the spring compressing when it "shouldn't" if it was from the ball.

Here is the usual hard to believe problem. The gravity force that pull the ball down the frictionous slide has got to be smaller than the springy force, which is activate by the same gravitational force? Something not right? The ball upward force suppose not to be able to overcome gravitational force?

As long as it is not using that kind of external power control, even if it is using some mechanics in the spring, we still have to admit it is a good working model.

Why do you even want that slider? Why don't you just let the ball bounce up and down, which would reduce the energy dissipation so that the movement could last longer?
[The way down is twice as long as the way up. This is enough to store the required amount of energy to re-compress the spring.] sounds weird....the twice long downway would not increase the energy, but exactly the opposite: it will increase energy loss!

Someone is moving the spring from under the table. He should have allowed the ball to fall on the spring and then moved the spring little bit slowly. This would have been more convincing.
The problem with this mechanism is that the ball has to be heavier than the spring to compress it fully. But if it is heavier, then the spring will not be able to push it all the way up
