Awesome view of a..."Kerbal-ified"...? Perseverance mission! Idea I had for a KSP video: you seem to enjoy making space stations and SSTOs (looking at your channel history ;P). However, you rarely seem to use the stations unless you're expanding them, and I think you did a resupply mission once (and still expanded). So anyway, here's my idea, and hear me out: what if you were to try to get everywhere in the Kerbol system, but here's the catch: the vehicle can ONLY have the ∆V to get into low Kerbin orbit. Oh, and no drill, either. Once there, refuel using a space station, and try to make your way through the whole star system that way. Also: you CAN land and use surface bases to refuel, as well. You just can't refuel using a drill. It HAS to be pre-launched resources.

Have you tried the RealPlume mod? It overhauls the stock engine exhaust with really good looking plumes that even separate as you go higher into the atmsphere. Also about the comets, I advise you to use caution with them, as they get a bit buggy when using timewarp and/or quicksaves. I remember one person on your Discord server who tried to build a station around one and after i believe 2 or 3 launches it just exploded when the comet moved slightly after they timewarped. I hope squad can fix this in an update because comets are REALLY big and having a station around one would look way better than even a large E-class asteroid. as always, great vid Matt and keep up the great work! :))

@@ryanrising2237 Really? Iv'e never had trouble with R.A.P.I.E.R.s destroying my frames, or aerospike either. I know you can Alt + p to change the amount of particles that spawn, but even that doesnt lag me that much unless i have SRBs kicking smoke off into the sky, and then i look down into it. Not sure what GPU ur running, because that could be the issue, but i have an rx 570 and it runs realplume fine even with scatterer + visual packs installed. and i feel pretty confident matt has a better gpu than an rx 570, so he should be able to handle it. either that or you have an rtx 2080 ti in duel gpu configuration and it lags for because of weird visual bug sor something. idk.

the title could be: sending a rover, then sending another to recover sample, then another to recover the rover that was recovering the samples to launch it with a rocket, then launch a thing that recovers the rocket. go back to earth and send another ship to recover the ship that recovered the rocket launched by the rover that was recovering the rover that recoverred the samples

Always burn off as much velocity as you can prior to re-entry. Don't just ditch your half-full fuel tanks without using the thrust to make your re-entry safer. If you had done that I doubt your heat shield would've burned up.

Do Career mode! You don't have to do it all the time, because I know you enjoy the sandboxy mode, but I would really enjoy seeing you doing career mode, and how you might handle the challenges it gives you, especially if you do hard mode, and try and not use quickloads if you can. I find it very satisfying when I test rockets before sending manned missions and get it all done without reverts / quickloads.
