I do one thing a little different than you demonstrated here. I'm a lefty, and I transition exactly as described from left to right. Move shoulder, move firing hand to support position, then support hand to firing position. Going the other way however, I undo what I did. I move my firing hand back to support, support back to firing, and then transition the shoulder. I've tried and tried to do the exact same operation both directions, but for whatever reason it just is unnatural. My brain likes to process it as a logical stack, last operation in is the first operation out. Thanks for these TTP based videos. I love them!
Excellent video as always! From my very earliest days getting into firearms training I began practicing transitions. The idea of religiously sticking one shoulder or side, which I've seen taught by other people, just fell on deaf ears with me. I know you'll probably laugh, but it takes about a half a day of paintball/airsoft/force on force to find out that using the left side of cover with a weapon in your right hand will get you shot in the face.

The difficult part is the eye dominance. It takes a lot of training to pick up your sight picture with your non dominant eye.
