    Great review! Simple, and hits all the important questions we might have from the Amazon reviews! I especially appreciate the instructions on how to oil the belt. I keep reading about the need to oil it, but no real instructions on how to oil it.

      @unmatchedvalue subscribed! excellent review! Will the machine allow you to power on and exercise with the hand bar down? Or do you have to raise it to start the treadmill rolling...Also are you running on it with only socks on? I've read people complain about it being too hot and getting foot blisters. Any problems?...Is that what the oil is for to keep the belt from getting too hot?

    • @unmatchedvalue
      @unmatchedvalue  Před 7 dny +1

      @stephenshakarian5920 Sorry for the late reply. Yes you can exercise with the bar down but it will limit your speed to a fast walk. I have been doing it with only socks on but I usually use it for about a mile at a time. Anything more and I would recommend shoes. Not because it gets to hot but because its very grippy and I can see blisters developing from longer use. Also the oil is mostly for making it easier on the motor but maybe part of it is to prevent friction heat build up.

Storing it like you do will work better for me so going to take my chances and hope it is not recommended for the reasons that you think. What I wanted to ask is how often do you think it should be oiled? Does it say in the directions? Just got mine and I noticed while I run the belt moves the slightest bit from left to right and then back right to left depending on what foot I am stepping with. If I run it with no one on it, the belt looks pretty center. But once I start walking it moves back and forth. The movement is slight, is this something that you notice on yours at all? Thanks in advance!

    • @unmatchedvalue
      @unmatchedvalue  Před 2 měsíci +2

      Yeah I know exactly what you mean. That's normal; the moving part is actually raised up from the board underneath by a couple cm so its not constantly grinding on it. When you step it makes it brings it lower and makes contact with the board. It might move a couple mm to left and right but its mostly the play of shadows makes it look like its moving a lot.

      The manual has detailed instructions, but basically you tighten or loosen two bolts until the belt runs straight down the middle of the treadmill. Its not a hard process just takes a little time. Like if you see the belt slowly slide to the left you tighten the left bolt or loosen the right one.

      @unmatchedvalue  Před 5 měsíci +5

      No, I haven't noticed any issues. I'm no engineer; but in my opinion that's more a liability thing on their part. If you store it upright and have kids, they could pull it and it could fall on them, or if you don't lean it enough it could fall and break ect.

    • @unmatchedvalue
      @unmatchedvalue  Před 3 měsíci

      That's a tough one to answer honestly. The board you actually run on has rubber pads to help cushion the sounds of running. The treadmill itself cannot run backwards, and if you have the bar up there is not enough room to walk backwards unless your holding on to the bar behind you.
