    I saw someone put their watch on their ankles instead, to count their steps better

      I do this and it works great! I had to swap the watch band tho, because my ankles were too thick for the ones I was using before.

    fitbit flex 2 with an ankle strap is the best ive found for accurately tracking steps.

    Why don’t you walk on over to that like button bucko 🤠

    What do you think of red and near infrared light therapy? I purchased one of those lights recently and so far I like it.
    That walking pad looks a little too narrow as well. I won’t get that one :)

      I have a red light device that I have been using mostly to try to heal up a gnarley ankle tear that I’m still recovering from but it has improved greatly. What’s your experience with it ?
      For the walking pad - I actually like how narrow it is cuz it takes up less space that way. but otherwise there seems to be better options out there!

    did you adjust the tightness of the belt? if you’ve got that “jolt,” that typically means it’s not tight enough. just got mine today and gave it a try; we’ll see how it goes after a month.

    Could you incline this walking pad by raising it on something? Thanks

    I use Google fit from my phone while walking which is connected to my watch and it syncs perfect.

    • @JayFriedrichs
      @JayFriedrichs  Před 5 dny

      It’s not an issue of syncing. It’s an issue of hands not moving when on the desk

    Put your watch on the ankle to count steps

    • @JayFriedrichs
      @JayFriedrichs  Před 4 měsíci +2

      Yeah that’s a great alternative, I actually put that in shorts video about it (: still don’t prefer to do that but is an option

      @d4-6n Před 3 měsíci +1

      Putting your phone in your pocket might be an alternative. Assuming it contributes to step data. It relies less on a swing movement compared to a [smart] watch since phones are not expected to be in your hands while walking

      Doesn’t work accurately, also use my phone for working on stuff. Ankle strap works best
