    Nice job, I have never managed to get the v band clamp on properly first time either, I tend to loosen the downpipe from the mid section as it's easier to maneuver. Hope that it's working perfectly for you now mate 👍

    My own vxr just done the same thing but I also need to get my stem seals done after watching this I’m gonna ring my mechanic tomorrow you done a good job mate and another great video but with current day light and a litter of pups 2 weeks old I’ll pass for now 😂🙌🏽🙌🏽 keep up the great content mate

      Cheers mate 🤙🏻 Not massively although does feel a lot smoother when On boost but won’t know any real gains till get it back on the dyno etc

    Brilliant videos mate, thanks for all your effort putting them together! I'm thinking of getting a Corsa vxr, I know the possible problems as you've said since your last one but is their a year of car you would recommend, I've got around 3500 for one!! Thanks!!

    It’s a shame you got rid of the Corsa as I have one of those and the videos were a good source of info. But I’ll still watch to see how the Astra gets on. Quick question if I may - how can I tell what engine code I have? I think it’s either A16LER or B16LER. It’s a 14 plate and has the shift up indicator on the dash. Thanks

    Be interesting to see how this performs, considering I got nigh on 330hp from a brand new stock gm k04, you'd like to this could do the same with the right hardware

      @@Yodaracing1 I know the feeling, when I had mine and the turbo went I bought a second hand hybrid k04 that ended up goosed so then had to fork out for a new one but just went for a genuine k04 in the end

      On the newer cores the restrictor is built into the core itself so restrictor on bolt isn’t required

      @@Yodaracing1 yeah cool a think when decat or sports cat precat delete bigger diameter exhaust end up with back pressure problems hence the oil restrictor bolt upgrade thats what people say how oil ends up spewing out everywhere turbo

    I'm stuck with my vxr at the moment.. My handbreak light stays on, and my break fluid is fine, and I've just done my discs and pads two days ago.. How the hell do I get it to go off?? Please help it's driving me mad, and I've googled for days, but most say it's break fluid...???? I'm stuck.😪😪

      @Yoda racing . I was kinda hoping it was going to be one of them where it sorts itself out a couple of days after being done. Do you know if you can check them with a multimeter? And has the break fluid reservoir got a sensor? Sorry for the questions as I'm only learning too. But you are called yoda 🤣 thanks fella

      @@nubie1100 pretty sure they have some sort of sensor on either the bottle or the cap check for any wires or plugs it’s a tough one tbf could be a faulty contact on the handbrake lever itself

      @Yoda racing yeah I'll just have to check for sensors.. but I can't see it being the handbrake as that bings and bongs when you are driving so I kinda ruled that out. I hate having errors it drives me crazy. I have done the peddle and button trick and I have no error codes. Thanks for your time bud.. I'll get there in the end🤣 I hope

    Was it smoking when reving after idle? On car park for example?

      Yea mate was fine when cold but soon as it got up to temp coming down the revs or sat idling was like a James Bond smoke screen 😂

      @@Yodaracing1 the thing is core is dry:( but have shaft play and in and out as well. I can press it and poll for about 1-2mm

    Is this core suited for all turbo astra's 2.0? Like the Z20LET, Z20LEr and Z20LEH?

      @@Yodaracing1 I was wondering, when I want boost from my turbo, first the boost seems very sporadic and makes my whole engine sputter before actually getting boosted air into the intake and getting that power. I was thinking maybe my actuator is failing or there could be a vaccum leak?

      Was from eBay mate from a place called turbo rebuild but if you have a look thru my videos it failed after only a few months I would get one from krs I ended up buying a complete new turbo unit from him
