The absolute funniest part of this DLC is that while there's a whole unique fight when you're in the ring with him, if you fight him anywhere else he goes down like any normal civilian. Also for some reason he doesn't find you suspicious in his training room. I thought it was to set up some kind of alternate fight because of how fight-happy he is with his guards, but nope, he just stands there, shadow boxing like a nitwit.
I still hate the idea that you get locked out for 12 hours. We are adults who have jobs and lives. Just make us start from the beginning. We already can't save, that's enough of a difficulty curve.
Nice breakdown. I played the Elusive Target and the Arcade version twice (once on each console), then haven’t thought about it much since. When they announced the celebrity this time, I honestly had no idea who he was and what I’ve learned about him since does not impress me. I did like the opportunity to take him down mano a mano in full view of a crowd of witnesses while still retaining Silent Assassin; that was at least different for the series. 😂 Buying the Undying pack was a no-brainer for me; Sean Bean is an actual celebrity and having a chance to play that contract again for the first time since H2 released was a great surprise. This MMA guy? Meh. Saving my $5. (The one good thing to come out of this is that with those shorts being awarded for starting the ET, we finally have a genuinely shirtless 47 to enjoy. 😉) But for people who really want the pack, enjoy!
All that said, if they were to put the pack on deep discount down the line, I might consider it just to have a complete set of safehouse cosmetics. MIGHT.
I bought the dlc and I can’t use the freelancer stuff yet because I’m a low level and the items are just useless and the suit I wear on Berlin sometimes because 47 just looks like a crackhead in it. I would say the dlc’s not worth it
My biggest issue is that 47 looks like a kid compared to conor. They should have made him buff just for the lolz. This also kind of proves 47 isn't that tall or they didn't bother to make conor shorter.
I was planning to, but this video hasn't done nearly as well as I'd like. My current plan is to focus on the next F&F and then make an overview/review of WoA Part One; if that still underperforms, I'll take it as a sign that there isn't a significant audience for these videos.
Wait so can i unlock the cane, kettle bell, and green choking strap from the free month? I unlocked the mma suit already so do i need to buy the dlc to get the rest or is it free to unlock by playing
You'll need to buy the DLC for anything mentioned in this video beyond The Disruptor mission itself and the MMA suit (though now that you've played it, you'll need to pay for the mission to replay it).
I think I speak for an overwhelming majority of the community when I say that this dlc pack is absolutely not worth it whatsoever unless you are someone that has the urge to have 100% of everything Hitman offers installed (and even then it’s pushing it). At least with the undying pack, you could be getting items that don’t really have direct alternatives if you missed out on when the elusive target ran. However the items in this pack are all worse looking reskins of items that are either completely free, or just genuinely outclassed in every way. The suit is absolutely hideous and it’s not like with all the other content that we have a shortage of good alternatives, and freelancer furniture is purely aesthetic in an area of the house most players rarely go in, in a mode that most people have moved on from. The only real “meal-worthy” content is that you get to play the elusive target again whenever you want, although it’s got enough caveats that are mentioned here that make it more frustrating than worthwhile; and if you play on PC and are truly this passionate about Hitman, I’m willing to guess you can just access it for free with the peacock servers I would imagine For 5-6 dollars of a persons regional currency, they could get way more bang for their buck elsewhere in Hitman 3 dlc packs alone (nevermind by buying other games in the franchise or the avalanche of possible gaming alternatives in general). I’m very disappointed in IO with this one, I understand that this is a game that is years into post launch content, but if your going to charge money for this - it better at least being providing something of actual value to the people that are sticking around

Far as I know, the lockout is still avoidable if you “crash” the game when the mission starts going south, so it’s a minor inconvenience.
