18:23 Another example for this is on the Ark Society. @@TheFirstCurse1 From what I've seen, it doesn't seem like it. However, I have met people with the same kanji (心) somewhere in their name before (i.e. Kokomi(心美)).
at 33:40 he talks about npc’s seeing you but not being able to reach you. I discovered an amazing example of this on colorado that is like nothing you have ever seen. All you have to do is bring a sniper, shoot a target or two with it in order to alert them, and crouch in the corner of the water tower. if the npc’s don’t see you, they will be alerted by your shots and almost EVERY GUARD will swarm the water tower. but, since they don’t know you are there, they will blindly shoot at you. if you hide in the corner, they can’t see you, or reach you, and 50 npc’s will stare at you until you make the mistake of standing up.
I was under the impression that the reason body dumps like the ones seen at 22:20 work because although the body was not killed in an accident, the other NPC's think that it was as all they see is a body that has fallen out of a window/over a ledge etc. Making it a sort of "perceived accident kill" when in reality it was not. I believe this is also the case with body dumps over the edge of the main stairs leading down to the dancefloor in Berlin. EDIT: I forgot to mention that these appear to act differently due to NPC's not acknowledging the body at all
Speaking of dumping spots that make the body invisible, Sgail has another one. In the penthouse tower, where the council members reside, there's a balcony with a ledge that goes down to a mini-balcony on the floor below. Dumping a body from that ledge will count as hiding it.
I felt attacked when you said I’ll be hiding in boxes during freelancer, you weren’t wrong but I felt it lol. In all honesty freelancer is like a whole different game, far more difficult than a full SA/SO run
Wow that briefcase frisk tactic is genius how have I never thought of it before Also, the thing about not everyone knowing when you're trespassing is an immense help in the Swedish consulate, it's pretty much only guards that know you're trespassing.
19:08 Another thing besides the distractions in Hokkaido is the lights from the Vanya Shah's train where it contains camera evidence in Mumbai. You can keep turning it off to lure EVERYONE to that place until the map runs out of NPC
i have a neat trick i never saw anybody use or mention. runbump an npc, place a coin/duck/distraction item so they see it. when they finish the runbump interruption they'll move to where you were when the coin was picked up. you can pick it up for short lures, they/someone else can pick it up for longer lures. real useful for pulling a specific person out of a crowd or getting people closer to accidents out of audio distraction range. great vid btw
I had no idea about the noisy vacuum or ice machine! That should make freelancer Hokkaido interesting, perhaps easier. I totally agree about proximity explosives. It led to my only failure, and cost me 32k merces, and of course all my gear. Never again
Haha the guard in that container behind the Hokkaido Sauna door is genius, I remember completing silent assasin only to turn back and find that door locked behind me with no other way out ... the pain
Little tip for opening doors when you only have a pistol on you and nothing else to shoot or unlock it with- if you shoot it and then quickly pause, unpause and shoot, pause again, repeat it 4 or so times in rapid succession and it'll act as if you used an automatic and break the door open. This is because by pausing between shots you're lessening the actual time between the bullets hitting the door, takes longer if you just shoot it normally
Kills caused by explosions from canisters and extinguishers count as accidents and wont ruin your silent assassin if the body is found. You can easily achieve this with a breeching charge placed near a canister near a target for a chain explosion. This can be coupled with the briefcase "glitch" to kill some targets "accidentally" in very public areas
Soooo much interesting info! But fr: I've been obsessed with Hitman for a couple years now, and yet this vid still had like 100 new things I never heard about. Could watch like 10 others of these non stop
Thank you so much for this! I've been playing for a while but I learned SO much in this video... My favorite HITMAN channel by a mile and you have a really calming voice :) Edit: typo
Panicking civilians by shooting the ground and by pulling the fire alarm were integral to how I did Silent Assassin Suit Only on Master Mode in Bangkok. 31:42 there are also some doors that are too strong to be shot open, like the one by the well that leads into the warehouse in Isle of Sgail. 35:54 47 can also sometimes continue reloading a gun while dying.
wow! i really did learn a lot from this. thank you! also, i laughed when i first really tuned into the dialogue from a bodyguard searching for their VIP. they sound so concerned!!
There are some minor NPC behaviour changes in Freelancer for missions that have No Bodies Found as an objective. After a certain amount of time has passed a random NPC from across the map somewhere will walk to where there's a dead or unconscious NPC, and this happens in areas often where other NPCs don't ever come to by any normal means. So say for example you kill a target and there are nowhere proper to hide the body in a box or whatever nearby, but throw them in a bush, somewhere, a random NPC will walk to that location to discover the body.
21:20 another thing on picking up illegal items, if you’re holding a large item in your right hand that can’t be stowed like a propane canister or car battery, all other small items go straight to your inventory rather than your hand.
Casimir (paraphrased): If you're making a Contract, turn off the music as the Mission Complete theme plays when you mark a Target and doesn't stop. Save yourself from listening to it on loop for 10+ minutes. Me (has loved that song since 2016): No, no I don't think I will.
Awesome video! I loved learning every weird little trick, especially the coin to open locked doors. And thanks for acknowledging that stream times are really inconvenient for Aussies, haha!
Maybe mentioned somewhere by someone, but there are some disguises you can carry a sniper rifle without a problem like Pointman in Colorado. As for freelancer, in the showdown you can hear the sound effect when you pass the target in this mode, too.
26:25 reminds me of Hitman Bloodmoney Speedruns, where you can throw a knife at your target on stage, but because nobody sees 47 throw the knife it continues to count as silent assassin, because it triggers a scene where police storm the grounds anyways. Conversely, if you were to shoot the target with the provided Sniper on the level, you will be instantly spotted.
You can open doors with a pistol if you shoot the door and immediately go to the pause menu, and when you leave the pause when you shoot the door again if you do it fast enough it tricks the game to thinking that you're shooting a submachine gun.
36:33 you forgot that one song that goes with that slide show you can trigger to play in Sapienza to get that one target alone, if you pause, you can fully enjoy it forever.
One cool thing I learned from sliding doors as in Hokkaido or New York, doors that usually needs a key card, is that you can place things on the ground to block the doors from closing, very cool if combined with letting NPC's open the doors for you.
Imagine you're an NPC guard, putting on your new uniform after you got promoted. And suddenly your like 4 colleagues in the room start pointing their guns at you-
As someone that finds shitloads of joy in abusing interesting hitman glitches this video is great, had some suspicions confirmed and learnt some new interesting tactics!
7:05 Destroying the heart doesn’t kill Soders’ character on the table. It just satisfies the objective since he is doomed to die as a result. There is no objective to kill him on snow festival and his death is not programmed to the heart normally.
35:11 I've seen people pull the same thing off with some of the targets in Berlin if you manage to kill five targets at the same time. It's definitely an AI glitch where if an NPC doesn't know what to do they resort to T-posting.
Casimir, have you found the way complete the Ave Maria challenge about finding tranquility? I'm pretty sure it's got to do with the yoga you can do near the lake, cause doing that makes the song play, but I'm not so sure about the entire method. Edit: this is about freelancer by the way, but I think this is pretty self explanatory.
sorry that this doesn’t really help but my guess would be to just sit the whole song out, it might work similarly to fishing because once you “catch” something it automatically ends the animation and plops a fish or log in your hand so that may be it
haha great video. Assassins are always easy to recognize. Half the time they wear disguises in areas that would normally be trespassing for that outfit
Thanks for the helpful video mate!!! Will definitely be using the placing item in front of a door trick lol also I once got done in a big mission by forgetting what the word PROXIMITY means. Went to pick up a proximity mine left at the entrance in Miami to get through a frisk, went to pick it up before i escaped, BOOOOOM lost all my money in freelancer lmao
Working hard on one right now! If you like the more entertaining parts of my videos, you'll probably like the sequel to this video, coming out this weekend: czcams.com/video/I2QezMOui6c/video.html
"Tactical turtleneck" I hope you paid Archer for mentioning his invention, the Tactleneck. While he didn't invent the item itself he did recognise its use as a tactical garment. Now I think about it, I'd love to see a playthrough of someone roleplaying as Archer in Hitman, just because of how opposite Agent 47's personality it is.
Unfortunately, the Versatile Assassin challenge video didn't get a lot of views for the effort I put into it, so I've been keeping the weekly challenges within the Discord server for now. But I might consider making another one in the future.
that thing with holding a handgun to get away with carrying a bigger gun feels like the continuation of the detonator glitch from Blood Money, where so long as you're holding the detonator (or fibre wire or I think just any legal item, but those are the guaranteed two you'll always have) nobody notices you carrying a sniper rifle under the other arm
Interesting about the golden gun slide whistle thing, as the Bond film the Man with the Golden Gun famously had a bad-ass car barrel roll jump across a river, coupled with a completely unfitting slide whistle sound 😂
Bullet distractions as a whole is just super complicated. The 2 or 3 shot rules are not necessarily related to gunshots, but gun actions. So the sound of the gun will count as one of these shots. Even an unloaded gun will count the exact same way. On top of all this, sometimes they just straight up don't work. Fun :)
There’s another area where you can dump bodies in Isle of Sgail. It the ledge with the barrier has broken on top of the tower Jebidiah (not sure how to spell that) Block stays
About the fact where guards wander after the vip is dead, this happened to me when playing landslide, I turned the dialogue up and his guard kept saying "Mr. Abiatti?" and if you kill Yuki Yamazaki with the cable car, every bodyguard will look in the direction of the cable car.
sick video, learned quite a few useful things, definitely going to use doors as sound barriers to great effect in freelancer. I love the high quality subtitles; most youtubers wouldn't bother

@@nuv2987 I'm pretty sure I did it and it just looped again, but maybe I stopped halfway through
I see that you're growing, yesterday i saw your channel and it had 5k subs
Nice work!
haha great video. Assassins are always easy to recognize. Half the time they wear disguises in areas that would normally be trespassing for that outfit
21:51 Bro stopped time with this one 🗣️
"The World"
the editing and presentation style reminds me a lot of facts and glitches by darkviperau, i like it
What a crazy amount of incredible facts. Thank you.
Best part of the video definitely is the connection failed part...classic Hitman right there
Thanks for the helpful video mate!!!
I hope you make more videos, this one was really entertaining
Working hard on one right now! If you like the more entertaining parts of my videos, you'll probably like the sequel to this video, coming out this weekend: czcams.com/video/I2QezMOui6c/video.html
Fun fact: you can hip fire sniper rifles in your safe house and trigger explosives with them.
Nice video! Very useful info!
That poor guard walking round searching for his VIP like "Gavin! Gaaaavin!"
I found that the white shadow suit was hostile in Hokkaido the hard way
"Tactical turtleneck"
I hope you paid Archer for mentioning his invention, the Tactleneck. While he didn't invent the item itself he did recognise its use as a tactical garment.
Now I think about it, I'd love to see a playthrough of someone roleplaying as Archer in Hitman, just because of how opposite Agent 47's personality it is.
Are you going to make a video on the silent assassin, hammer only challenge? That weekly challenge video you made was very entertaining!
Unfortunately, the Versatile Assassin challenge video didn't get a lot of views for the effort I put into it, so I've been keeping the weekly challenges within the Discord server for now. But I might consider making another one in the future.
@@CassidyCope did it seriously not do well? That's genuinely my favourite video of yours by far!
@@mayakirkhouse84 me too
I have no knowledge of Hitman and I have never played the games, but I really enjoyed this amazing video it was really fun and well presented.
that thing with holding a handgun to get away with carrying a bigger gun feels like the continuation of the detonator glitch from Blood Money, where so long as you're holding the detonator (or fibre wire or I think just any legal item, but those are the guaranteed two you'll always have) nobody notices you carrying a sniper rifle under the other arm
Interesting about the golden gun slide whistle thing, as the Bond film the Man with the Golden Gun famously had a bad-ass car barrel roll jump across a river, coupled with a completely unfitting slide whistle sound 😂
I will be sure to tune into the stream later on
lol the prisoner asserting his dominance
He’s back!
12:13
My favorite pass time in the Paris attic, honestly surprised the guards don't lose their nose!
Very informative! 🤙
12:14 LMAO definitely gonna show this to my friends, once I make friends.
I think "(Subjectively annoying classical music)" is the best subtitle I've ever seen. Thank you for that gem. 😂
I rewatch my own videos often, and laugh at that every time. I'm glad you enjoyed it as well!
@@CassidyCope "*becomes Jesus*" was another great one. Thanks for taking the time to put subtitles in manually!
The pistol shoot to trigger clivians going crazy will help me alot
Just started playing freelancer and i was average at best with the whole stealth SA thing. Great video
Fun :)
On the topic of map loud distractions, I’m pretty sure Whittleton Creek’s fire hydrants are map loud and can distract anyone.
There’s another area where you can dump bodies in Isle of Sgail. It the ledge with the barrier has broken on top of the tower Jebidiah (not sure how to spell that) Block stays
There ain’t no way bro
called Miami “Meeamee” 💀
nice vid man
guy yelling "jesus" and then t-posing is just great
About the fact where guards wander after the vip is dead, this happened to me when playing landslide, I turned the dialogue up and his guard kept saying "Mr. Abiatti?" and if you kill Yuki Yamazaki with the cable car, every bodyguard will look in the direction of the cable car.
REALLY GOOD VIDEO!!
i missed you so much dude
sick video, learned quite a few useful things, definitely going to use doors as sound barriers to great effect in freelancer.
I love the high quality subtitles; most youtubers wouldn't bother
One note on the Colorado stage. The point man disguise is the only one I'm aware off where walking around with a sniper rifle is not an illegal act.
I love how in the iron maiden clip Diana sounds like a disapproving parent.
