There is a misunderstanding with Klopps statement: in German we sometimes use „Klein“ (=little) when we mean something big but want to put an humorous note to it. So for instance: we’d say „Das Auto würde fahren gäbe es nicht das kleine Problem, dass es keine Reifen hat“ (= well the car would drive if there wasn’t the little issue with it having no tires).
So his statements clearly hint to him not mastering the English language and reporters looking for a story/not understanding the language barrier.
We do the same thing in English...

There's a reason the tournament is also known as a celebration or festival of football. Unlike Copa America where they try to k!!l and !njure themselves and call it passion or the Euros where they play football without a soul, Afcon is truly an enjoyment of the beautiful game from fans to players.
I imagine what great heights African football would achieve if the governing football bodies of these nations were less kurrupt, put their houses in order and stayed honest

As an Ivorian this tournament was crazy not just because we won it. But we saw African teams ball out and get the best of each other in fashion every single game. Some crazy twists and turns in both positive and negative ways. This is what football is about
I respect our performance even more now after seing that comparison with the other semi's countries... I apologise Bafana... but still they love to disappoint when we all have their backs and love to show us up when we don't care

As a Nigerian i actually bet on ivory coast to win because their story was just incredible and the win just felt right ...like the perfect end to an epic storyline...as much I love my country ...they made me a fan of theirs just by their resilience. To think that if the Ghana goalkeeper never touches the ball out, Ivory Coast wouldn't have been able to win AFCON is crazy.
As a Ghanaian I’m still mad at that but it’s super funny how his “stupidity” sort of helped our neighbors beat our English Speaking counterparts (who are our best friends) Nigeria in the final.
We were happy us Ghanaians on the final day but I guess we’re still mad at the keeper looking at the massive demonstration that has happened in Ghana after the tournament. It’s just chaotic 😅😂

@sam_sa09 You're slow, so I'll break it down for you. If Ghana had beaten Mozambique, they would have finished second, and Egypt would have finished third with a better record than Ivory Coast. Ghana didn't beat Mozambique (because of that comical goalkeeping error) and finished third. Had Ghana won the game, the Morocco vs Zambia game would have been irrelevant (specifically, had the goalkeeper not made the error, the Morocco vs Zambia game would have been irrelevant).
@@MithridatesIX Partially true, but that still doesn't mean that because of that error, Ivory Coast went through, because if Morocco didn't beat Zambia afterwards, Zambia would've gone through instead.
So the goalkeeper error only meant Ivory Coast still had *a chance to go through,* but wasn't the *direct reason Ivory Coast went through* (Morocco vs Zambia was).
So the other person was not wrong in saying what he said, so no need to call him "slow".

I am honestly here for the South African compliments 😂. Having said that, I won't lie, initially I really didn't think they'd do much of a great job, because they have disappointed us countless times in the past. But the boys really proved themselves, and really earned our respect for them once again. Hugo is truly the boss. Hopefully the squad will continue to get better from here on

The first two nigerian penalty takers shot it in the middle which added a third option aside from diving left or right which made williams hesitant about picking a side to dive to early the thing that gave the nigerian penalty takers the edge. Hope this helps.

First of all, the AFCON is what the English FA wishes the FA Cup was.
Secondly, we lost because someone decided to tweet at the wrong time, not going to mention any names though Tinashe.
Both cups was crazy & would be great to see SA won since players not from overseas.
SA National team(Bafana bafana) have sparked in new love and urgency in SA football, adding an oomf to football system thats been losing talents within the cracks.
