What is the name of the NAD test? Where can you get tested?
love the detail and specificity that Dr Jin-Xiong-She speaks to - brilliant - worth watching multiple times
Wish there was more research on Niacin, not everybody can afford buying NMN.
It's not that bad. Tru Niagin NR is $47 & NMN is $50 a month for 500mg. I'm fine paying $60-70. It's worth it.
Highly interesting. I switched from NA to NMN and it looks like my choice is validated.
This is very interesting and informative, thank you Richard and Dr. She!
Great stuff! I'd never considered other potential benefits of those supplements - would love to learn more about them. Thanks, Richard.
Hi Ken a belated thanks!
Very helpful vid 😀 thanks
thanks. we need this kind of positions.
Thanks Richard.
It’s funny how everyone downplays niacin. Dr. Jin literally said in high doses it was very efficient and they saw high doses. Yet almost every “influencer” focuses on NMN or NR. Why? Because it can be monetized through supplement company support? Niacin is available and cheap, and much more studied for safety than either NMN or NR. In fact, both NNM and NR has to be broken down to NIACIN just to work.
A lot of these researchers talk about "high doses" and "low doses". Given an approximate range for what these are. Am I supposed to figure out what a "high dose" or a "low dose" of niacin is?
You don't have to figure it out. A quick google search reveals that a high dose (according to the National Library of Medicine) is anything over 50 mg. A low dose (Mayo Clinic) is under the RDI of 15mg.
@@katem2411 Jin-Xiong is the expert. The Mayo Clinic and National Lab are they on the forefront of NAD research or is their estimate based on (old) science textbooks?
@@militiamc LOL at him being an expert. He did not even mention the best NAD booster. It's exercise and it's free, and based upon current data, it's more effective than any supplement in terms of NAD boosting, reducing mortality, and disease reduction.. See my other comment on exercise and NAD elsewhere in the comment section.
I ordered NMN then discovered that for best results it should be taken with TMG, so I ordered TMG.
Now I find out that ŕeervatrol should be included.
This is getting expensive !!!😮😅
Being unhealthy can be more expensive 😂
Thank you Richard. Currently I take both NR and NMN daily. After listening to this interview I may just take the NMN from now on to save a few coins.
Or just exercise and don't take either NMN or NR. Older age people that exercise that do not take supplements have similar NAD levels to college aged individuals. See my comment on this elsewhere in the comment section.
@jackbuaer3828 NMN is amazing even for bodybuilders. Always a moron in the comment
I take NMN from DoNotAge and I just sent in for my test on NAD from Jinfiniti
How come none of these NAD specialists ever mention the pros or cons of NADH supplementation?
It would be also nice to evaluate the risks of taking them and not just the benefits
Not much risk to supplements unless you over do it 😂
Can I take NR and NMN in the day? And if so what dose? Thank you.
Please ask Dr Jin about sub-lingual NMN and NADH. Which is more effective in boosting NAD ? Thank You
NMN by a substantial margin.
Hello - read few university or NIA studies on nmn and NR supplements and much caution on use with first need to understand levels in cell of cd38. If cd38 high then nmn or. NR can do damage. And here doctor has supplement company so really just main focus is most probably to promote only his supplements. Also mentions he takes his nad booster and feels a effect right away - doesn’t this equate to a drug and not a supplement? I’m sure he is not severely deficient in nad so not to get this immediate effect. Maybe someone ill, not much movement and not eating properly could be low in nad so then more effect. Please anyone can comment?
It’s not yet proven any scientific validation for David Sinclair claims on this supplements other than his own studies
it’s commercial benefits for his companies
This needs much more testing
he "feels" NMN 5 minutes after taking?!?
I first tried NMN then switched to a cheap bottle of Vitamin B3 niacin and both were effective. However in both situations I was also taking a carb loaded Creatine. I later discovered nmn is just a combination of B3, sugar and phosphate. So I was giving my body the seperate nmn ingredients taking b3 and a pre mixed carb Creatine. I also take l-tryptophan to optimised sleep which I also discovered was an NAD precursor. So I wake up in the mornings refreshed.
… show-off :-)
Is NAC a NAD+ Booster ? like NR ör NMN supplement. .
Yours answer is so important för më. . Thanks..
No
Heres an idea, why not take all 4. NAM, NA, NR and NMN.
Or take none of them. Exercise is the best NAD booster. See my other comment on exercise elsewhere in the comment section.
@@jackbuaer3828 exercise is good but it causes mtor production which is bad
@@BITCOIN_TO_1OOOO0OOOOOOOOOOO , Exercise is proven to extend lifespan and /or health span in a plethora of studies. One would not want to avoid resistance training because it might stimulate MTOR. In reasonable amounts, resistance training will likely extend your life. So with respect to exercising or not, which would you rather have (1) a longer life and less fragility, or (2) less mtor activation?
In certain instances, exercise can inhibit MTOR.
"In this review, we presented new insights into the downregulation of mTOR signaling in TNBC by exercise and CR. It has been shown that mTOR network inhibition is mostly mediated through the effects of CR and vigorous PA < physical activity> as well as long-term exercise, which decrease the level of circulating growth factors and hormones.

@@BITCOIN_TO_1OOOO0OOOOOOOOOOO no, aminoacids do
Regarding NAD+. This study ( czcams.com/video/997OIbBqTfk/video.html ) shows that NAD decreases with age, and if the elderly walked 15k steps each day, it increases NAD levels to someone in their 20’s. If this is the case, why would supplements be of any use?
I do not understand anything.
