- Anapana is the first step in the practice of Vipassana meditation. Anapana means observation of natural, normal respiration, as it comes in and as it goes out. It is an easy to learn, objective and scientific technique that helps develop concentration of the mind.
Anapana provides a tool to deal with the fears, anxieties and pressures across all age groups. Besides helping to calm and concentrate the mind, Anapana help people to understand themselves better and gives them an insight into the workings of their own minds. Because of its simplicity, the technique is easy to understand and practice.

Mind wanders all the time. Barely focuses 1 minute overall in these 30minutes. Anybody bave any advice?
Regular practice is key. It's extremely tough, but if you are persistent slowly and steadily you will make progress starting from Nano seconds to Milli Seconds to Micro seconds and then minutes then more...Try with smaller time... Some days you may feel very good progress some days you may not so be patient with yourself. Since all days are not same they leave different impacts on your mind (You may not be aware of the same). Apart from it you may have to look at your life style which includes the speech , food and many other aspects. Read about 8 fold path of patanjali yoga also gautama the buddha it may help you alot. Since practice is just small part. There are so many things which contribute to your state of mind in present and your past stored in your subconscious..Try to attend 10 day camp it will help alot.

Actually woh available nahi hei aur woh sirf 10 day camp mein hi milta hei...Nahi toh bina camp kiye sab log woh ghar pe karne lag jayenge bina 10 din camp kiye hui....and that's problem
normal wale hein, woh mein upload karunga 1-2-3 hrs wale.

Ye sadhana daily maximum kitni ki ja sakti hai ?
Sir for good result 1 hour in morning and 1 hour evening.
But, yeh stage 1 hi hei...yeh help karega. Par apko stage 2 seekhna hei jo apko kaafi aagey tak lejayega woh sikhna ke liye 10 din ka shivir kariye koi bhi vippassana center pe jaake.
Ek baar aapne wanha kar liya phir woh subah shaam 1 hr ghar par kar saktey hain hamara old video hei . agar aap subah shaam practice karte hain to bahut aagey aap jayenge jo shabdon mein bayan nahi kiya jaa sakta hei .Woh experience hi kiya jaa sakta.
Maximum jaisa koi limit nahi hei...aap 10 days camp mein 12-14 hours karte hain din mein...Normal life mein jaise aap practice karenge apko pata chal jayega..

So much of background noise.. Especially that chewing noise in the background is very distracting
1- Its a live recording in dhamma hall during a meditation course by goenka ji.
2- Its not a studio recording.
3- May be its challenge as a seeker to over come this distractions and focus mind harder.
4- I can edit those moments in between and make if blank. Thank you for your feedback.
5- I will dwell on suggestions in my meditation season and find a solution. you can advise as well.
