Thankyou SO much brother! I picked up a free Razor MX650 Chassis for free off marketplace and your channel has been the most thorough with the builds and picking out what is perfect for my bike. Keep up the amazing videos!
Awesome! I appreciate you watching! 🍻
Thanks for all the info and awesome videos bro🤙🏽🤙🏽 I have used your discount codes on some of my parts much appreciated. I’m building my first bike right now MX500 and can’t wait to ride it after she’s done should be between 60-70mph not that I need to go that fast lol but nice to have the option keep up the great content👌🏽
Hell yea man, thank you did watching and you’re support! What parts you end up going with?
Appreciate your videos, new to this and gain a lot from them!
I’m glad you find use in them! Thank you for watching 🍻
Wheelie Animal!
Hahahah! 🤣
Great Video!!!!
Thank you! 🤙
Hey man , I really appreciate you for making your videos on the mx650! Ive wanted to upgrade one of these for a while now but was unable to find any at a reasonable price until around a month ago when i came across a deal with 2 of them in nice condition on craigslist and I was able to get both of them at for $275 . So now I've just been trying to find some ideas on what upgrades are worrth doimg and your videos have been a huge help with that so thanks again man! I'm not sure if I just missed it or not,if so I apologize but i would really like to see this a video where you show the finished bike in action and go over some of the specs like run time, top speed, ect.
Thank you for wrecking man! This bike has a too speed of about 32mph. I don’t really like to go over run time so much because it depends on so many things. But this bike gets over 20 miles on a charge with moderate throttle use. 🍻
Interesting to watch bc I’m bout to cop my buddy red mx500 soon as I get enough cash. I’ll prob do this build bc I already have a 72v
Perfect!
Love your vids. Ready and wish you would do a full build with wiring videon
I was running about doing that type of video, it’s hard to show the wiring process. It’s small, tedious work and it typically doesn’t seem to hold many people’s attention. I have a video in the library on how to wire a Kelly controller and another on how to wire lights to a switch. Check ‘em out! 👊
@@VoltronWatts thanks!!
You’re welcome!
Nice build. Did the plastics just bolt right on or did they new holes or cutting? Thanks.
The CRF50 plastics fit really well on these bikes
What type of hydro brake is on the rear, size of disc and where can I get it from. I see it says M4 on it but, did you get it from prime? And also could you just install maybe a mesh on the inside of the motor after you drill out the holes? Love your channel and what you do here. My son and I just got into the mx500. I definitely want to improve it for him further as he grows. 😁👍Thnk u so much for what you do.
Thanks so much for watching! These are the brakes

Loves this seat. Actually got it for mine, but how did you get it in the locking tabs on the frame? Did you have to grind away the tabs to make it fit?
Great question Josh. Yes, you have to modify the seat pan in order for it to bolt up in the rear. I use an angle grinder to trim the plastic. You could use a dremel as well. 🤙
Hi, great video! Can you please make a tutorial on how to change the grips on the throttle
Sure can!💪🏼
@@VoltronWatts thank you so much!
No problem!
Nice! How much you got into everything? Top speed and avg runtime on battery?
I’d have to sit down and rally it all up but I bet there is $1,000 in parts and stuff on this bike. Maybe a tad more. Not including labor. Top speed is around 36 and should get about 25-30 miles on a charge depending on rider weight, elevation gain and throttle position while riding 🤙
for the screws in my motor i just grinded the heads off because i know im never gonna take it apart and its going 6 months strong
Never thought of that! Thanks for watching!🍻
What led strips did you use for underglow because I checked the description but it wasn’t there
Shoot man, I don’t remember which one they are. Sorry man. There are tons of options on the amazons
Does dirt go in the motor when you drill holes
I’ve never had an issue, but I’m sure it’s possible over time
How would you compare the softness and comfort ability of the crf50 tall seat compared to the stock seat or even a surron seat if you have ever been on a surron. I was thinking of either putting on a surron seat that I have or a luna float seat, but I wasn’t sure what the best option would be. Any help or insight would be appreciated
Hey! I have never used a surron seat so I’m not sure about that. But the tall seat is much more comfortable than the stick seat 🤙
Ok, I appreciate the reply. Does your butt ever get sore from riding with this seat for a long period of time. I noticed that it gets sore for me when I ride with the stock razor seat
Yea it still does. but I suffer through it. lol!@@schmeglyomigy6174
Hey bud I have talked to u before but I have a question. I have a 72v ec4p v2 with FarDriver nd72450 and my throttle is very sensitive and I can’t even keep a steady speed cause of bumps and stuff because the throttle is so touchy do u have any idea how to tune that down a bit without losing power
I’d love to help but I am no fardriver tuner. Look up Brandon Ely on Facebook, he knows all about these things. I could get your throttle to do certain things but it sounds like you need a different tune on the throttle
Does your butt ever get sore from riding with the crf50 seat for a long period of time. I noticed that it gets sore for me when I ride with the stock razor seat
For sure it does! But the CRF seat is WAY better than stock 🤙
Could you share the actual paint used on the frame here? This is what I want to use on my swingarm.
I’ll take a pic for you when I get home
@@VoltronWatts Gracias!
badass, i can’t be within 200 yards of a playground though
Hahahahah! Well played, well played! 🤣
Can I run a sur ron throttle on a 48v razor?
People have done it 🤙
@@VoltronWatts Ok thanks.
Did you bypass the BMS when you wired the 2 48v batteries in parallel? Also, how many amps can you draw from the 2 batteries with the Kelly. I'm wanting to do this same upgrade to my 48v MX650 with a vevor motor.
I didn’t bypass anything. I think each battery is good for 30-40 amps (I don’t know exactly) for a total of 60-80 amps.
@@VoltronWatts thanks for your reply! In the future could you run through some of your settings with the Kelly controller?
@@VoltronWatts thanks for your reply! In the future could you run through some of your settings with the Kelly controller?
I sure can!
@@VoltronWatts you're the man! 💪
We’re I get the motor, and the Kelly controller not everything’s perfect n your list
Motor- amzn.to/3vhqzcT
And the industry has kinda moved away from Kelly controllers these days. Fardriver is the go to now a days for best bang for your buck. Check out econiccycles.com for controllers. If you decide to go that route “Voltron5” will get you a small discount. I also have videos on setting it up. 🤙
It looks like now the price went up on the MX650 too😮😢 I might haft to try to get a b1 bomb moto
Never ridden one, but they look great! Try to find a used razor 🤙
Keep looking, I just got one for my my boy for his 9th birthday. I could only find them for around 700 bucks. Found one on Facebook market place for 400, the guy bought it, put it together, his daughter rode it once and it's been put away since. But literally the day after I bought it, best buy had got some in stock for 5 something. So they Def come in and out of stock, just gotta keep looking
@TreYay83 boom! Thanks for the update!
yea i’ll keep my eye out for some better deals i wish Razor would just sell a Roller chassis option at better price .
Is it 48v just x2 or is it 96v coz 48v aint no adults bike my 60v pitbike barely went 27 got a 110v system in it now it does 140mph
lol. Parallel 48v batteries with a Kelly controller gets this bike into the 30s. Easy.
@@VoltronWatts ah nice ive got a stomp ebox 2.0 running 42kw
@christianwatkins8459 no way! What electronics package?
