- I've wanted to replace these side mirrors on my Rogue S for awhile for something a little nicer so I ended up finding these gems on Amazon for $75 a piece👌😄

Good Afternoon kind Sir, I am about to do this myself on a 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport. This looks so complicated and I see you using strength lol Im so weak but Im going to give it a try hopefully everything will go well.

You don't have to take the door panel off that's a complete waste of time I just took pulled the door panel back some slid the wire through and connected it

4:00 The only problem is when you pull the door trimming off some of the pins stay stuck in the door, have to pull them out and attach to the trimming to pop it back on easier.

I replaced both side mirrors. the10 sec reset worked great for drivers side. not for passengers (3) after 5 or 6 attempts. Still scratching my head 4 days later, I anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. It would be worth 50.00 USD. Your video was great, easy to follow. So the turn signal works by connecting the mirror to the power plug that’s all.

Thanks for the video, just the OEM Nissan side mirror assembly without back cover is for $540 (non camera with heated glass) with tax here in Canada. The after market parts are not as good as the OEM ones.

QQ - you replaced your mirror with one that has a turn signal bulb on it, I like that. How does car activate the turn bulb on the mirror, is the car pre-wired for that?
I noticed replacement mirrors which come with a turn signal on them also include HEAT. But I think for heat some other wiring will need to be done and an ON\OFF button.
I need to replace my passenger side mirror, someone last night put a screw driver thru it 😞 Will follow your instructions on the passenger side.

It was already pre wired. And it doesn't necessarily need a designated 'heated mirror' button to heat it. As long as you engage the front windshield heat it'll feed power to the mirror which will engage those coils to produce heat to the mirror. Japanese cars are fairly easy to modify.
Nice video, very informative. So, I noticed that the side mirror assembly that you had before don't have an integrated turn signal and you replaced them with one that does have. Would you know if the side mirror assembly that has power-folding capability would work also on your trim? Would it need wiring modification?

Hi there could you tell me if you used any tools to pull the door trims off? Its quite hard with just my hands. Thank you!
The reason why it feels like it's hard to pull off is because of the clips pinning the cover to the door so it won't come off, if you can't use just your fingers try using a spackle tool or something thin enough to get underneath the door cover to pull the clips loose. Hope this helps!

Can you post a link for where we can buy the replacement mirror that has the blind spot warning sensors?
Are you trying to replace the BSM on the inside of the door? The monitoring system is seperate from the mirror, you'll see that when I take the door off and start to remove the mirror.

So I have a 2018 rogue and it was parked be side a dumpster at work the garbage truck picked it up and when they sat it back down it barely hit the passenger mirror and it’s fine somewhat not busted but there is a spot on the far edge where it’s coming apart it has the turn signal in it is the part that’s popped out a little and needs pushed toward the car and to the front or that’s what I’m thinking…. I’m asking can it be fixed I’m afraid of breaking something
It just depends. If it's popped out you can try and pop it back in but if it doesn't do that then you'll most likely have to replace the mirror. You can watch my tutorial so you don't have to pay extensive labor charges to have a new one put on and Amazon has great deals on the heated mirrors with the indicator on them.

Hey I have 2019 Nissan Rogue sport. It came with the basic mirror without the turn signal indicator. I would like to upgrade them to this mirrors with the indicators. Will it fit my car? And also is the connection the same ?
I'm not entirely sure, just to be safe I'd look on Amazon and make sure you have your car applied to the garage so you can select the right one. The wiring should be the same because the mirror is pretty identical but I don't want to give you false info.

Can we use the nissan 2017 mirror instead of 2019 mirror ?
Most of the wiring is the same except for the SL trim so I don't see why it wouldn't work.
Where did you buy your side mirror? I was on the highway and someone left ice on their car and surprisingly it flew off and busted my side mirror.

Why did you change it mate?
Just thought it would look a little nicer, give it some more character. It also came with the indicators as well as heated mirrors which are both useful. I chose the black painted ones because it goes with the color combination that I've been doing with my vehicle. My next video I'll release my Instagram so you all can get more updates on what I'm doing next.
It stupid just to replace the outside mirror end up removing the whole door panel
that's my issue. I already purchased a replacement mirror , and don't wanna pay a lot to have it installed. I'm a contractor and can handle tools but this seems like a lot of work just to access the mirror. Worried ill break a clip or something else and end up paying for a whole new door lol
