This season is definitely a transition period for the NBA, old stars get their final hurrah and new stars rise to their occasions
Last season felt like a farewell tour for the 2010's era of NBA basketball, specially since a lot of the teams and players from that era started to show their age and definitely slowed down a bit. Now this season feels like the start of a new era for the next 10 years or so, with the guys in this video being the stars leading the way.

Most productive doesn't mean best. If Herro is the best player on a team with Bam and Jimmy then the Heat could be the best team in the East. Playing great offense can't make you the best player on the team when the two other stars are excellent defenders as well as decent scorers.
It's not just the scoring increase, Herro's defense and playmaking (sans the 4th quarter against the Lakers yesterday) had noticeably improved.

Bam and Jimmy have made All NBA teams. It is outrageous to say Herro is the best player on the team and the sample size is also too small.
Herro got the deal he has because he had potential and he is reaching some of it now. He isn't the best player on the team and nor does he need the pressure of being the best.
Smart veterans like Jimmy will let Herro shine and save his legs for later. Let Herro get the reps and take over when necessary. Let the young legs carry the team which is even less deep than it was last year.
hes not very efficient though, he just shoots a lot. 44% on 21 fga per game is not great

Nets fan here. Cam Thomas has always been gifted as a scorer, but was a huge defensive liability. Cam has improved and seems to be fitting in with the defensive schemes of the team, so it’s only up from here.

As a raps fan, I'm so excited for the future of Scottie and the team, but also, it really annoys me how newer raps fans who came during the successful years, are so inpatient and quickly jump into conclusions about the team and its players. Scottie Barnes surprised the heck outta me, after his rookie of the year season, I thought "here we go, another promising career going down the drain" after last season , he's been average at best but credit to him, seems like he worked very hard on himself in the off season and is now fully reaping the rewards, leading the league in blocks per game too if I'm not mistaken which is insane for anyone who isn't a 7" center, genuinely happy for him.
Tbh tho Fvv was bc a huge part of why he struggled last season. Scottie and OG were basically completely fazed out of the offence just standing around waiting for Pascal or Fvv playing hero ball. Hard to be engaged when your teammates don’t help you.

Right now I think Scottie is just better, especially if he keep shooting like this, so they should experiment with benching Siakam and Gary Trent Jr out there. If they can get a package for Siakam they should.

I rarely comment on the set decoration of YT content providers, but I feel I have some value to add here. It is all wrong. It is too busy and the light reflections are too distracting. If you added a strobe light, that would finish the look and probably set off some seizures (so don't do it...).
Some advice from someone who considers himself a wonderful decorator (though, I never had a lesson) - take it, it is free: Add a fern on your right side and change the name of the channel name to Two Ferns and a Rusty Bucket. F@ck, I'm good at this...
